Clare was extremely helpful with my query and very attentive to all matters. Quick response time and always happy to pick up the phone to you to discuss queries.

Overall experience of handover and collection was great, no issues or concerns and they were efficiently in completing the work on the car so I was only without it for a couple of hours.

My GLE needed a repair, I was looked after by Claire who was attentive, friendly and professional throughout. From start to finish she kept me up to date. A real credit to Mercedes.
The repair to my car was done quickly and without any problems.

Nothing is ever too much for Janet. She goes above and beyond no matter how big or small your request is!

Having bought a few used Mercedes over the last eight years and spent over £120k in total with Mercedes dealers I was disgusted by the standards and service of Stratstone Glasgow.
Compared to all other Mercedes dealerships I have had contact with they are utterly appalling. What was offered in the advert for the car was not what the car was, the car was not properly cleaned when I was collecting it. On discovering issues that things were not as advertised they tried to wriggle out and make excuses. Phoning that company and expecting a return of your call is a complete waste of time. Best advice go to another car dealer this lot are shocking and have totally put me off Mercedes.

Went to pick up a part from Glasgow and John Tannahil could not have been any more helpful.would recommend the parts department anytime.

First and last car from Mercedes Glasgow.

I purchased an approved used car on 31st May 2025 from Glasgow Mercedes with 6,000 miles. My car was due back in for a MOT in September. By then, I would have had this vehicle for 3 months and done less than 3,000 miles on this.

A few hours after dropping my car for the MOT, I received a text message with the vehicle health results along with a message stating ‘Stratstone Mercedes Glasgow Service: Car needs wiper blades. would you like these fitted today.’

I contacted the branch to state that I wasn’t pleased about this given the minimal time and mileage I had done and requested that Mercedes consider covering the costs under warranty. The manager then contacted saying he was not going to replace this. His tone was dismissive.

On arrival to collect my car, I requested to speak to the manager in person. I expressed that ‘needing’ wipers is suggesting that my MOT failed and I wasn’t happy that I’d had the car for 3 months. David refused to listen to my concerns, completely dismissive, patronising whilst pulling unpleasant facial expressions. This is behaviour that I would not expect from a manager and I am frankly quite disgusted at the service.

I have since put a complaint through the website. I have not received any response and I have chased up on the online chat function three times with no response.

Quite frankly, for something so minor, I won’t be returning as it has cast a shadow over the excellent service I recieved when I purchased the car.

Car was in for the A Service - the team there with Mhairi were thorough and professional throughout. I asked also to look at the underside of the car for my own peace of mind on an item I wanted replaced and I was given a great insight to the car by Alan in the workshop

I recently bought my first Mercedes — and it will definitely be my last.

After suffering a tyre blowout, my car was recovered to Mercedes Glasgow. Long story short: they replaced the tyre but failed to even inspect the alloy, which was cracked. That’s a serious safety risk that could’ve endangered me and my family — but clearly, they didn’t care.

When the car was returned to me, the staff member driving it acted like they were in a rally — zero respect for my vehicle. To make things worse, the car came back filthy, with greasy handprints everywhere, despite being told it would be washed.

I contacted the branch, hoping for some accountability. Instead, I got a dismissive, indifferent response. No apology. No ownership. Just complete lack of professionalism.

As for the car itself? It rattles constantly. It’s a brand new 25-plate, but the build quality is nowhere near what you'd expect from a so-called “premium” brand.

If I could get rid of this car tomorrow, I would. Honestly, I’d rather drive a sit-on lawn mower.

Save your money and avoid Mercedes. There are far better cars — and far better customer service — out there.
