Stratstone - Mercedes-Benz of Glasgow Reviews 

I popped into the Parts department at Mercedes Benz Tyndrum Road in Glasgow this morning due to a warning light on my dashboard. I was greeted by Michael, who was incredibly helpful, polite, and supportive from the moment I arrived.
I don’t know much about cars, which was pretty obvious today but Michael made me feel completely at ease. He took the time to explain things clearly, and made the whole experience quick and easy with the issue being resolved efficiently.
Thank you, Michael, for your excellent service and for turning a stressful moment into a positive one.

In July 2025 I experienced extremely poor customer experience. I shouldn't have been surprised though as I had similar experiences in the past... hence buying my Mercedes from an English dealer and getting a better price. However I received a text from them, VIP special offers available with an exclusive discount 'with code' just for me as they wanted my car in exchange for a new car. Booked a slot, picked a sales rep and arrived on time. No parking available so had to use on street parking ' not a big deal I know'. Then I received a very blank expression from the receptionist. Had to show them my email confirmation, she then went and spoke to the Sales Manager who shook his head as he didn't know anything about it. The showroom wasn't busy with customers, but I still waited 15 min whilst staff seemed preoccupied on discussing their weekend. So I just left the showroom and won't be back. After making a complaint to Stratstone, I received a call from the Dealer Principal. He said he would look into it and get back to me. It is now Sept 2025 AND STILL NO ONE has got back to me. Absolutely awful sales experience. I can't be critical of the service department though as they are genuinely helpful when you use them.

Very bad service they sell damege car 10 crack I alloy wheels , they put blame I crack them had to pay 3k for them
condensation on headlights wich costin me now 4.5k warranty not cove

I dealt with Janet this morning for my service. The coffee machine was down which was disappointing but Janet offered to get me a coffee from the used car showroom or a free voucher for John Lewis cafe which was a lovely touch. Janet came over with frequent updates to let me know where the technicians were at. 10/10 service from me, thanks again x

Car condition on handover was poor despite reminder emails to salesman, previous owner profiles not cleared from computer, had to return on a later date to remedy. Salesman reneged on agreements and quite cheeky in response to complaint of this, still not completed 9 weeks on.. AVOID unless you want this kind of poor service and disappointment

Disgraceful service. Paid a reservation fee for a car and decided not to go ahead. 2 months later no refund and very little communication regarding the money. Seems like their MO from reviews to take money and not give it back or care about customers.

Brought my car in for an MOT and Janet took care of my car. She was very welcoming and friendly. Great service!

Due to an ongoing issue with our motability car we had to book it in several times with Glasgow Mercedes. On each occasion we had to book the car in we were treated by the loveliest girls at the service desk . Claire and Janet are the only 2 names I can recall but every one of the staff we dealt with were absolutely amazing to deal with. We were shown the utmost respect and support every time. As the issue was ongoing I have to give Janet and Claire my sincere thanks for the way they supported us throughout a difficult time . We were always provided with lovely courtesy cars and kept informed throughout. They are an absolute credit to your company, they all are.. many many thanks for all your tremendous support and help. Mr and Mrs McLaren..

I was in with a friend of mine when his car was in for a service. Andrew I believe in Service, I think he was the manager was absolutely amazing. I hadn’t considered Mercedes before chatting with him, I’ve always been a BMW fan, my next one will be a Merc. He took time out of his busy schedule to chat to us, made us a coffee and the overall experience was superb. He’s a credit to the department and brand. Thanks again Andrew.

Andy really made our experience phenomenal. We have driven Mercedes now for over 20 years and had interactions with lots of dealers, but Andy was by far the most knowledgeable on the brand and our specific car. He was generous with his time and really could not to enough to help us.

Parbinder really went above and beyond during my recent visit to Mercedes. Having had poor experiences at other big name garages and service centres Parbinder really changed my view and I couldn’t recommend enough.

Popped into the Mercedes-Benz Stratstone Service on Milton Street, and was looked after by Keeley — absolute diamond from start to finish! She was warm, chatty, and right on the ball. Explained everything, kept me in the loop, and made the whole thing a breeze. It's no often you come across folk who genuinely care and can be down to earth, but Keeley went above and beyond. Top-notch service with a smile — she’s a credit to the place. Cheers again, Keeley!
