Easy to use service well set out

We ordered a small single bed with mattress and storage drawers for our daughter’s bedroom. Her bedroom is very small and this bed fits in perfectly. The drawers provide excellent storage for her toys. This has made her room feel not such as squeeze as it could have done with a regular single bed.

The wood is a good quality and we like the natural wood look so have left it unpainted, with the option of painting it at a later date if our daughter decides she wants to.

The bed feels solid and not at all wobbly or flimsy. The mattress feels comfortable for our daughter who is small and light, but it may not be suitable for adults as it looks like it sags slightly when a heavier person sits on the edge (we went for the cheapest option as it suited our needs more than the other options). If it gets uncomfortable for her then there is the option to purchase a higher quality one. She has been sleeping on it for 4 months now and there have been no complaints.

The bed was reasonably easy to put together. There were some fixings missing in the delivery. Customer services were helpful and sent the missing items out without quibble.

Communication with the company was good with regular email updates. There were a lot of emails, but this was definitely preferable to none at all.

All in all would highly recommend this company and their products. The price of the bed, mattress and drawers was the best value we found after looking at a lot of different online sellers.

Bed came promptly with many updates on timings. The finished product is beautiful and so much classier than it looks on the photos. The slightly unusual sizing options were perfect for my son’s box room and we can now read in bed together despite the room not being quite big enough for a queen sized bed. The smell of the pine is divine. Really delighted with our purchase. Super great quality. Would definitely recommend.

Bed is very sturdy, but that's all I can say about it. Good quality wood, but roughly sawn and not sanded, with splinters and rough holes catching clothing and fluff. Paid £100 extra for grey paint - they did one slipshod coat of paint with poor coverage, and didn't bother painting any of the slats you can clearly see under the top bunk. Worst still, they painted over much of the colour coding, which made their already awful instructions virtually impossible to follow. As a result, it took 4 hours to put the bed up which, as a single female, I had to pay a tradesman extra for (he was seriously unimpressed with the bunk beds). Their customer service attitude is shocking, their website is inconsistent with consumer law (screenshot and reported). Basically they expect you to pay to return the product yourself even if it is of unsatisfactory quality for the price. I won't be buying from them again, which is a shame because they have the makings of a quality British built product, but can't be bothered with a decent finish or customer experience. £400 for bunk beds is higher end, the product unfortunately isn't. I have many photos in full support.

Further to the above review, they also stuck FOUR stickers with unnecessary text on FOUR of the pieces of wood which were very difficult to get off - I had to wet them and then scrape them off with a paint scraper, damaging the already shoddy paint job even further.

Really well priced, sturdy bed. Being on the larger side, I really needed something that I felt comfortable in. This bed is incredibly sturdy and easy to put together. The communication regarding delivery was very good and the delivery driver was extremely helpful and friendly. Would definitely recommend.

Brilliant beds, I originally bought a secondhand bed which is fantastic so got another for another one of my kids, well made and simple to put together once you get to grips with the instructions and parts. Amazing quality and will definitely buy again if I need. Thank you

Professional Company

From ordering a high rise short length bunk bed to delivery, I was kept updated every step of the way. Even able to track the delivery driver who rang to say he was approximately 20mins away. Customer service was excellent. Did not put the bed together ourselves so can't comment on how good the instructions were. Paid a handyman to put it together.

Communication from point of ordering through to delivery excellent.

I couldn't build the bed in the order shown in the very thorough instructions due to the very tight confines where the bed was going, but the instructions were so clear that that didn't matter. Bed appears very sturdy.

The bed came with a very rough finish, you have to sand it all yourself on the edges. I don’t think they should be selling a product that you have to sand yourself before putting it together. They should make sure the beds are properly finished before sending them out.
The hole for the nut on one of my side rails was on the wrong side. The instructions are awful and wrong. Putting the bed together was hell. The bed seems fairly sturdy, will see how long it lasts.
On the plus it was delivered fairly quickly and customer services are easy to contact, even if they aren’t of any help.

Construction..... ah! the wood is not perfect, quite a lot of rough edges, slightly splintered. It really needs sanding again.
and then.... the instruction leaflet is dreadful, there are quite literally steps which are not included, steps repeated, and the layout and language are very unclear.
and then.... the allen key provided is a poor fit so during tightening it won't grip, or it erodes the bot head and the bolt cannot be fully inserted. It was only on three or four bolts but enough to be annoying.

A little more care would make ta really good product, but now it is only "OK"

Good price points for solid, unfussy furniture. There is a bit of assembly work as to be expected. Responsive customer service team too when you need to make adjustments

Bed came very quickly! Very study solid bed. Instructions were a little tricky but found a helpful video on the site :)

I have used strictly beds for my children/teens beds for years as they are made to last I have a triple bunk ,dbl/single bunk and high bed ,simple instructions quality thick wood and if you ever have an issue there always there to help

Quick delivery, great product, very solid, decent wood, sturdy, I bought mid sleeper, loads of play space underneath, loads of options to suit

The quality of the four poster bed I bought is excellent. Great product at an amazing price. Even better, unlike other companies, they do not charge extra for my postcode which is in the far north of the Scottish mainland. Speedy delivery too

I purchased a daybed from Strictly Beds and Bunks, and while I am ultimately happy with the bed for now, the experience has been incredibly frustrating. Many others have reported issues with poor quality and beds breaking down after a few months, so I can only hope mine lasts.

The delivery was delayed, parts arrived damaged and missing, and I had to wait for replacements. Communication from the company was curt and dismissive. The person handling my complaint—who I later discovered is the director of the company—did not share his title at any point and refused to address valid concerns. Instead of taking responsibility for the issues, he blamed me for assembling the product and unilaterally declared the matter "closed," despite unresolved issues.

This dismissive and unprofessional approach to complaints shows little regard for customer satisfaction. I cannot recommend this company to anyone who values proper service and accountability.

Placed order received a two week delivery date which not ideal but was fine.
Day of delivery not had any communication so despite the fact they dont use phone eventually got a chat bot type message to say dont know when it will be delivered and an excuse of driver had run out of hours. This was in the morning. I had taken a day off to get this delivery so not very happy.
Did not then get any assurances from them did not appear interested so i cancelled the order. Within 10 min got a email from driver saying refused delivery.
There loss took my business elsewhere.
