Very Unprofessional
Strutt and Parker Ascot
Having found a property through Strutt and Parker Ascot branch we were told our offer had been accepted and all checks, references and deposit were successful. The landlord wanted us to move in June but we had a holiday booked so agreed to move on the 1st July, we had two properties to move from one of which didn’t have much furniture, we asked if we could pay to move some furniture in one of the garages before the official moving date which the landlord agreed and we paid £1000 straight into his bank account. All the arrangements were made through the negotiator Caroline at Strutt and Parker Ascot office, after everything had been agreed documents signed and finance completed we continued to pack one of our properties on the day agreed for us to store the furniture in the garage, we had arranged for Caroline to meet us at the property at 1 o’clock to unload, at 12.45 Caroline called us to announce that the landlord had pulled out of the agreement and had decided not to rent his property to us, we were devastated and had to find storage for our furniture at very short notice and all our plans and arrangements had been ruined. What l thought was strange was Caroline had no empathy she was very matter of fact about it all and didn’t really care we found her very rude and unsympathetic. We have also noticed after a few weeks she has put the property back on the market, I can’t believe after the way we have been treated Strutt and Parker would even consider to do business with this landlord again. Unbelievable!!!!!!
Above and beyond
Great service. Alison in particular went above and beyond, moving boxes for us when our removals firm didn’t turn up. Would highly recommend!
Excellent professional service
Excellent professional service from Fiona and the team at Salisbury. I felt I was treated as an individual in a friendly and caring way.
Excellent throughout
Our whole experience of working with Fiona and the team at this office was fantastic. We bought our house through Strutt & Parker in Salisbury. The most impressive part was the excellent communication throughout. Our purchase was handled excellently from start to finish and Fiona was a pleasure to work with. Thank you S&P.
Our sale was full of excitement
Our sale was full of excitement, both Sarah and Fiona were constantly on the ball helping us through the maze.
I highly recommend Strutts.
We nearly went with Purple Bricks!
We nearly went with Purple Bricks to save us some money, what a mistake that would have been!!
Not only was the entire process stress free, with Victoria and team always on hand to answer (unlike horror stories I've heard from other well known firms!), it's fair to say the expertise from Strutt Parker made up for the financial saving AND SOME tenfold, due to being able to market our property personally, to a tailored audience of ready to buy clientele who gained more on our sale price than any basic Rightmove listing could ever acheive.
Incredibly Professional Agency
Janet, our agent, was incredible. She was professional, responsive and we felt she gave us and our property the full attention we would expect of Strutt and Parker.
I could not recommend this estate agency highly enough to anyone looking to sell in North Yorkshire area.
…Exemplary Service
The help we recently received was exemplary. At every step of the process, from viewing, to negotiations through to purchase (and even after) we have nothing but praise for the way we were treated. It was all delivered in a friendly and professional manner.
We were pleased with the very attentive…
We were pleased with the very attentive communication from the Agent and were made to feel very welcome after we had arrived.
First class service delivered
A first class service delivered from the Gerrards Cross team! From initial viewings (with John Roberts) through to completion (Anna Mincham) the journey was seamless and efficient. I was particularly impressed by the office responsiveness and willingness to accommodate. No hesitation in recommending this professionalism in service.
It takes one to know a good one.
As a former FRICS I knew of Strutt & Parker's presence in the market and am glad that I chose them for their effective handling from the initial instruction, through marketing and close, personal involvement at critical points in the sale, keeping it on track and bringing to a very satisfactory conclusion.
HARPENDEN OFFICE
HARPENDEN OFFICE
The team at Harpenden were excellent. Sally, Katherine and Lyn were very helpful and professional. They worked extremely hard to sell our house, negotiating a good price and I'd highly recommend them to anyone thinking about selling their property in the area. Thanks to you all for your hard work.
Salisbury Office
The team in Salisbury were so supportive through what was a difficult experience for me after 30 years in my previous home. They went over and above what I could have expected in terms of emotional support but were also extremely professional and thorough in ensuring the best deal. Their communication and advice was excellent throughout the process and all members of the team were engaged and involved. I couldn't have asked for more.
Buying and Selling through Strutt and Parker
We were in the fortunate position of selling our house through Strutt and Parker in Winchester and buying through Strutt and Parker in Salisbury. Which allowed for fantastic communication through a time that could have been difficult. Fiona in the Salisbury office was fantastic and managed to balance the need of the vendors along with our needs to buy the house. She was bright, friendly and helpful at all times. Patrick in the Winchester office, along with the rest of his team, worked above and beyond to get our house moving through these strange Covid times. It was always good to see a member of the team for the viewings. I can’t not rate our experience with Strutt and Parker highly enough.
Strutt & Parker have been Excellent
Strutt & Parker (Sevenoaks) have been excellent through the whole sales process of our house. Victoria Rose was professional, considerate and fun to work with. She also helps take away a lot of the inevitable stress when selling your house. Updates were frequent, but not overwhelming and the choice of communicating through phone or text made things easier when too busy or unavailable to make a call. We originally bought the house through Strutt & Parker and now, 6 years later, have sold it through S&P again. Both times we felt we were working with an excellent estate agent who really delivered on their promises. Thank you.
A Cottage in the Cotswolds
We took a risk by selling our house with a ten weeks completion date in which to find a rental in which to live in the Cotswolds. The market for rental was totally overheated. almost no properties were available. Some agents were very offhand in dealing with us. We were fortunate that a property marketed by Strutt and Parker Banbury became available and their agent actively contacted us in response to our previous enquiry. Through their careful negotiation it was possible to agree terms to change from a furnished let to our being able to take out the furniture and install our own. The property had not been well treated, but the agent arranged that it was spruced up and cleaned before our arrival. The whole process involved considerable work on behalf of the agent without which it would not have been successful. We enjoyed a very personal experience which made our move possible and we can thoroughly recommend S & P's service..
Victoria Rose was great to work with
Victoria Rose was great to work with, regularly updated us on progress and chased things up on our behalf. We have been impressed at how organised strutt and Parker were in terms of organising viewings, grouping them for convenience and following up on queries raised in viewings. I would recommend strutt and Parker.
Strutt and Parker Salisbury
Strutt and Parker Salisbury (Sarah Cull) has been a delight to work with. The process of buying a house can be painful, but Sarah’s charming professionalism, patience, honesty, tenacity, kindness and extraordinary diplomatic negotiating skills, sets herself and Strutt and Parker way ahead of the other estate agents in the area (we had dealings with most of them.)
I could not recommend her , and the office more, including Carola and Fiona. A class of their own. Thank you so much.
House Sale
I have been absolutely delighted by the service provided by Strutt and Parker in the sale of our house – unvarnished and consistent advice, knowledgeable, responsive and thoroughly professional. The sales team is deliberately limited enabling an effective and personal service. Our third experience of selling a house and this one was miles out front. Thank you to S&P Salisbury.
A tricky sale
Strutt and Parker in Kent worked particularly hard to sell our unusual property (including annexes with tenants) - calm, well measured advice and action from Andrew Harwood, with support from the rest of the team, got a tricky sale over the line.
