I booked flights from Helsinki to Zanzibar, I deselected the flexible ticket, insurance and premium package but these things were still charged for. Will update/change the review once my issues are addressed.

Efficient & Effective

It was difficult to complete the online reservation, the price changes as you proceed on the reservation, and the page tries to force you to buy options you do not want. Then the price you originally saw is suddenly no longer available. Also, the customer service is nearly impossible to reach and you get no no help from them anyway. Lost 200 euros and hours waiting on the phone for this. Real Supersaver yeah. I recommend to book straight through the airline, might cost you a bit more but you avoid all the hassle.

Do not like the sneaky way of the UI and the catchy parts to make the customer buy more services. For example the having big green buttons for buying those and no buttons / hidden links for not buying anything extra.

I bought two-way tickets to my family from Helsinki to Mallorca and back to Helsinki. I was thinking I’m buying a package and making one reservation for the whole trip (all flights were Norweigian flights). Our outbound flight was re-scheduled 12 hours (from evening flight to morning flight) and we were offered option to cancel the reservation. We did so. But suprise, becouse supersaver splitted our reservation in two reservations, they refused to cancel our return flight back from Mallorca. So they only cancelled our tickets from Helsinki to Mallorca and left us with return tickets from Mallorca to Helsinki.
So be aware, your booking will be splitted in two reservation numbers and if one of your flights is re-scheduled (which they often are now days) you can’t cancel the whole reservation. I contacted European consumer advising board and they are now investigating this. Funny thing is that when you buy your tickets there is quidence that you have to use every single flight in your reservation or rest of your flights will be cancelled. But when they cancel your outbound flight you can still use you inbound flight and customer assistant didn’t see any conflict with this guidence. And the (indian) customer service sucks big time. I contacted them by email and it doesn’t matter what I asked or said, answer is pretty much the same every time.

Super saver keeps customer waiting on the phone for several minutes, this needs to be improved.

Requested a refund after return flight…
Requested a refund after return flight was canceled and rerouted via another city. No response.

CNX-DOHA-HELSINKI and return HELSINKI-DOHA-CNX was rerouted to HELSINKi-DOHA-BANGKOK. Flying with small children this is not doable, such a big change.

Called Qatar airways but they said only supersaver can refund the ticket, and supersaver has refused to answer at all, refused to let me know how much the refund is etc.

No response from their email in over a week.
