Suzuki GB PLC are the mothership and fail.
Suzuki GB PLC are the mothership company for all the Dealerships. Technically each individual dealership is a separate entity. However, Suzuki GB PLC dispose of their own vehicles (that they have used). Into dealer auctions and the level that they are sending out is poor if mine is to be judged. In my case the vehicle, had had some paint work and several other bits and very poorly executed as I subsequently found out. However, when I initially spoke to Customer Services. They said that their vehicles were checked by 2 employees before going to dealer auction. If this actually happened then they disposed of the Car in poor condition using a dealership. (Again using my experience). They did not allow me to reject the vehicle and they take no part in resolution with dealerships. They just send you to the dealership and you have to sort it out. The response letters are atrocious. Even stating that the car could be an ex press vehicle. It was advertised as a ex-Suzuki managers car with 7k on it and I paid 23k. There have been a litany of issues which Suzuki PLC should have dealt with through their 2 employee screening but can't have. I will be sending their responses to the motoring press. It is expected that people pay a premium for ex Suzuki owned cars as they think they won't be raced, rallied and beaten about. They made 3 million profit in the year 2025. Their gain to my loss.
Don't buy one
Don't buy one. The issue is when something goes wrong. Head Office do not want to know and side with the dealers. I had a vitara and got so fed up the experience, I sold it. The dealers lie. Low cost dealerships + low cost dealers + low cost head office staff + budget car = disaster waiting to happen. I lost some money but it didn't cost me my health. You cannot get through to the CEO's office for escalation. Their 10 year warranty might as well be for 100 years, you won't be able to use it anyway.
Cupar Motorcycles - Buying a V Strom 650
Re-commissioning my 1982 CX500 Turbo as a senior citizen returning to biking after a decade away I found the staff at Cupar Motorcycles and their sister company Kawasaki Kirkcaldy delightfully helpful as I replaced all my kit. Then I was smitten by a 2yr old V Strom 650DL in the Cupar showroom with only 199miles covered. I held it on a small deposit so I could take a test ride once my kit arrived at Kirkcaldy. I got over my nerves and loved the ride, so bought it. All the staff were brilliant and could not have been more helpful. On the basis of my experience I can only recommend both dealerships.
Took my vitara to D M Keith Suzuki. Keighley
Took my vitara to D M Keith, Keighley for a winter check and battery check. Was informed my mot was due shortly. Received video of the health check and the tech highlighted some issues. These where rectified same day, including some which where carried out under the Suzuki extended warranty.(result). Received my car back washed and vacuumed. Excellent Service
V-Strom as good as dealer service.
Bought a 2019 V-Strom 650 from Callum at R&C Motorcycles in Mildenhall and couldn’t be happy with the service and the bike. It was there outside ready for test ride, clean, fuelled and facing the right way. Couldn’t have been better prepared. My dealership of choice for the future. Many Thanks, Andrew, Bury St Edmunds.

Amazing - Suzuki Aftercare - Holly
First time interacting with suzuki aftercare and spoke with Holly. She was amazing at explaining the process and was very professional throughout the whole call. At no point did I feel I was just another caller and I felt she cared just as much about as me about sorting my car.
Holly is an asset and a example to others in the industry

Bought my suzuki gsxs1000 motorcycle from powerslide mcs after 100 miles I checked tge oil it was low,so I contacted the dealer and they refused to believe me so I contacted suzuki customer service who contacted the dealer and between them came up with the conclusion incompetent to check it after 40 years of owning motorcycles.dealer to me the oil was factory checked. So what about the PDI ???.and I'm incompetent???????
Extended warranty Suzuki Baleno SZ5
Coming to the end of my Baleno SZ5 automatic 3 year warranty, I asked my dealer for the cost of an extended warranty. I was informed that they could only offer me an Honda warranty for my Suzuki at an approximate price of £350. I went online and was able to buy Suzuki's (AXA) own extended comprehensive warranty for £ 218.
Suzuki dealers were judged to be excellent. Not this one. I will have my car serviced elsewhere. Scam dealer.

Don't buy a Suzuki
I hadn't considered buying a Suzuki in the past because of their reputation for poor quality but their collaboration with Toyota and the shortage of Toyota Corollas I decided to buy a Swace which is built in Toyota's Derby factory however this was a mistake. Suzuki have invested nothing into supporting these cars you can't buy a space saver spare wheel and what's worse the car is designed to provide excellent fuel economy however Suzuki have fitted a tyre that does not fit that brief I assume because it's cheaper which completely negates what the car is meant to deliver and as far as any engagement with Suzuki they don't want to know.
Motorcycle insurance quote
I got a quote from Ellie for insuring my motorcycle. She was professional and very helpful. Great service! Thanks Ellie. Give the lady a raise!
i have purchesed a 2019 gsxs 1000 and…

Fine until something goes wrong
I’ve posted this already in relation to Suzuki U.K., but I’m reposting here to ensure widespread dissemination. The experience is consistent with what others have had to deal with in relation to warranty experiences with Suzuki.
While my car (Vitara) was still within its warranty period, it started making a whistling noise. I reported it to the local branch, who didn’t investigate it, since it was intermittent. It turned out to be the turbo, which subsequently failed completely before the car had reached 50k miles. They won’t cover it under the warranty and won’t make a goodwill contribution because the car is too old (but it wasn’t when I first raised the matter, and still wasn’t when they wrongly diagnosed it as a failed sensor) and had another owner prior to me. That owner was Suzuki; it had been a manager’s car. The car has been reliable until now, but my experience of the how the company deal with customers when things go wrong has not been good, and their warranty is already weak next to those offered by other companies. I actually have been told by a solicitor that I have a strong case under the Sale of Goods Act, since the part failed unreasonably early in the life of the vehicle, but I am autistic and can’t deal with the stress that would undoubtedly cause. So, I’ll just avoid buying Suzukis in the future. They’re fine until something goes wrong; then they are dreadful. I want to post this here so that others know what to expect.
I recently bought a Ne Suzuki swift…
I recently bought a new Suzuki swift szl hybrid car according to the specification front fog lights are standard when i got the car no front fog lights.according to the dealer the specification was from Suzuki so I should deal with them, after several emails 2 to the head of Suzuki GB who couldn't be bothered to reply I got several emails from customer service who said that it was nothing to do with them and they can change the specification as and when they like , can this be right? without telling anyone and at a moment's notice.they then passed the buck back to the dealer to deal with.l always thought that the Japanese were honourable people but it appears that Suzuki aren't.so now I am left with a car that is not what I was expecting.so if any one is thinking about buying a Suzuki make sure everything is as expected
Reluctant to help
Reluctant to help, inexperienced staff.
Had an issue where THEY had recorded the wrong motorcycle for my insurance then proceeded to say it was my fault. The person I had spoken to an employee on the phone called Bryony who was trying to talk me out of complaining instead of listening to me. I've now had my insurance cancelled in the first year because they can't insure my actual model of motorcycle resulting in me also losing my no claims 8 months into my policy. USE SOMEONE ELSE.
I have never dealt with more inept…
I have never dealt with more inept company with employees of poor standards of knowledge . Just have to say avoid. If you have an accident in your Suzuki phone your insurance DoNotPhoneSuzuki 😳 sorry Suzuki aftercare retraining required 😉
once again Suzuki fail to disappoint …
once again Suzuki fail to disappoint with there rubbish after sales and none existing customer service after looking into the add on tv ( my diesel claim .com) i was astonished to find out that my Suzuki s-cross which i bought in 2017 is fitted with a Fiat engine and most of the cars bought then are the same, Suzuki confirmed this today and say that they were under no obligation to tell me when i bought the car that the engine was a Fiat one, i told them if i had known this i would never have considered buying the car and i feel i was mis sold the car, they say this is general practise with car companies to fit engines from other companies, if this is true then i am sure there will be a lot of unhappy car owners out there I still say i was mis sold the car and intend going to the motor ombudsman even though they usually side with the car companies. word for all car owners check what engine you have in your car i seem to have a half Suzuki and half Fiat a car i would never have even looked at
The best lemon sellers in the world
Sold a lemon (car) everytime I use a problem and no help from this company or the retailer have taken issue as far as can without court case. Always thought Japanese companies produced high quality cars and took responsibilty when things were not right, but how wrong I am, will not follow complaint with dealer, will not address issues, will not help. Now stuck with car I loathe unless I find more money for a replacement! Suzuki won't even honour the warranty! Do not buy these cars everyone says they are good but when they are'nt you are well and truly cheated and left with a sour taste. 8 new cars no problems and then a suzuki 7 big problems and counting with no help to resolve.
