Welcoming and efficient
First of all, I didn’t have to find the clinic, a taxi was sent to pick me up and take me home afterwards.
I was made to feel welcome and the procedures and time I’d be there were explained clearly.
When I had to wait between seeing different clinicians, the seating area was comfortable. Drinks and snacks were readily available.
I’d never taken part in a clinical trial before and was pleasantly surprised how smoothly it ran. It was all very efficient.
The people who rang me regularly to ask about my health were very pleasant.

Importance of research
I have previously taken part in a research study and was very well cared for, so I was happy to participate again. Monitoring was very carefully carried out by very friendly and approachable staff. This ensured any concerns are promptly dealt with. They were very helpful in arranging transport to suit my needs.
I am glad to feel that I am making a contribution still to society and all our futures

Taxis arrived on time
Tests were carried out efficiently by experienced who also appreciated that my contribution was useful.
