We dealt with Jonathan Hill at the Huddersfield branch and I highly recommend both this particular branch and Jonathan himself. From start to finish it went very smoothly. I wasn’t even planning on using Huddersfield as it’s over an hour from where I live but I had been messed about with another very well known company so decided to look further afield. Great decision and particular praise for Jonathan Hill who knows exactly what he’s doing, was very attentive and dealt with the entire thing very well.

Paying for their mistake
I explained Issue with fuel flap release mechanism not working and how I managed to open it with pull-cord without damaging anything.
However in the workshop it was forced to open and outer metal flap panel snapped off plastic frame inside. I was charged for replacement new panel, primed & painted etc. this was an additional cost to me unnecessarily. Damaged was done at the workshop by an Audi mechanic, I should not have had to pay for that. Very disappointed with the service.

We had a few visits before we made the purchase .
Tom Rookledge and all the staff were extremely professional and also Tom was patient and easy to relate to . He is a very personable and likeable individual who took the stress away from making such a big purchase . For me , this is the zenith of my car buying !! A defender landeover 90 !! I still haven’t got my head around it quite yet, my partner is happy as Larry .
Tom was so accommodating , he listened to us and took on board what we said when it came to negotiating , he did his best for us and dint make us feel uncomfortable at any point .
We explained to him that we had previously gone to a different dealer ( my daughter and I ) we didn’t get on with that salesperson as he seemed dismissive and perhaps misogynistic in his attitude .
I cannot praise Tom enough - he was very likeable ( and we ended up spending probably 8 hours over a few visits face to face with him ) we felt completely comfortable and safe in his company . Thank you Tom and colleagues at Huddersfield Sytner !!
