Consistently excellent and very personal service

My recent visit to Porsche Centre Edinburgh was very positive. Derek Smart looked after me with a friendly and professional manner. The team on the welcome desk were also friendly and welcoming and the coffee and comfort area was clean and relaxing.
My Porsche Taycan was checked over for some suspension concerns and a software update. All in a

Scott and the team are fantastic to deal with and want to help you as much as they possibly can. They make you feel like a valued customer. We carried out the full setup and test driving of the car before signing and accepting which was great and without any pressure.

Comments relate to service department. I've used them for more than a decade and the service has been exemplary. On first name terms with the staff and dealings with them unlike any other garage I've used. Warranties on the cars can run up to 15 years and that brings huge peace of mind too

Decided to return to dealer as I had received fantastic customer service with my last purchase alas service has declined since. Had a recall on my car which should have been carried out in a day and ended taking a week. Very disappointed in the feedback from dealer and I had to keep calling back for an update on any progress.

Taycan - Sensors shut down at 70 mph on the motorway, causing the car to jump all over the road, steered in to the verge, following this the car has developed a shudder, diagnostics confirm two front wheels buckled, nothing to do with the sensors shutting down causing an awful experience , off course we have hit potholes, 2 new alloys £4500... you spend £110k on a car, not to mention the residual drop, lets focus on the customer service or just the service because as soon as you hand over the money you are no longer a customer , they will wriggle out of any responsibility , leave you without a car and if they can't bully you in to spending then they will charge you storage, behaviour you would expect from a porta - cabin and not a Porsche dealer. I think its very important when you do spend money on a Porsche to understand how quickly you become a distant memory, my friends and family also have some experiences to share good and bad coming soon...

I realize this might be an unconventional review, and I apologize if it’s out of place, but I felt it was important to share my very positive experience with this team.

Over the past week, I’ve been exploring job opportunities, and this particular company caught my attention because its values and qualities seem to align closely with my own. Wanting to make a genuine impression, I decided to visit in person — I’ve always believed that face-to-face interaction is the best way to understand a company’s culture.

I have to admit, I went in wearing just shorts and a hoodie to this very prestigious garage, but despite that, the staff were absolutely wonderful — welcoming, polite, and professional. Unlike some of my past experiences, where appearance seemed to determine how you were treated, every team member here showed genuine interest. They asked how I was doing, what brought me in, and engaged in friendly, down-to-earth conversation. That alone left a fantastic first impression.

I had the chance to speak with a couple of employees — both from sales — who stood out for their friendliness and professionalism. Even though they couldn’t answer all my questions in full detail (since they weren’t in the technical department), they took the time to help and chat with me for nearly half an hour each. In my experience, that level of attention and kindness is rare, especially when you’re not there to make an immediate purchase.

The entire atmosphere of the dealership was impressive — clean, professional, and filled with positive energy. Staff offered me coffee, everyone greeted me with a smile, and there was a genuine sense of pride and teamwork among them. While I understand positivity is part of any customer-facing role, it truly felt sincere here.

Regardless of how my application process turns out, I’ve developed a strong sense of trust and respect for this company and its people. They should be proud of the culture they’ve built. I genuinely look forward to maintaining a positive connection with this team in the future.

From my initial enquiry through to the “reveal” of my lovely new car everyone was knowledgeable,patient and a delight to deal with.

I found the staff at Porsche Edinburgh extremely helpful and knowledgeable. I came in to simply ask some questions about electric cars and was offered a test drive in an electric Macan. I cannot speak highly enough of the team at Porsche Centre Edinburgh, particularly the Service Department, who recently looked after my Porsche Taycan. From start to finish, the experience was friendly, efficient, and thoroughly professional—everything you'd hope for (and more) from a premium marque like Porsche.

A special mention must go to Pauline MacKay, whose service and communication were truly exceptional. Pauline went above and beyond to assist—she arranged a courtesy car without hassle, kept me updated every step of the way, and ensured my Taycan was returned fully valeted and fully charged. It’s those thoughtful touches that make all the difference.

Despite living on the other side of the country, I choose to bring my car to Porsche Centre Edinburgh for one simple reason: customer service that is second to none. They make the ownership experience not only stress-free but genuinely enjoyable. This is exactly what premium car ownership should feel like.

Wasn’t intending on changing the car but when the right thing comes along out of the blue then sometimes you need to go for it.
