People make Porsche Glasgow. I’ve bought a great many cars over the years, and I’ve been lucky enough to buy a number of Porsches both in the UK and abroad. The Porsche team in Glasgow is exceptional. Harry in particular is hugely professional, prompt and courteous. His follow up and very helpful advice in the post sales period is terrific. The level of service at Glasgow is certainly a differentiator and it’s why I stick with Harry and the team there.

Over the years I’ve bought around 12–14 cars from Porsche, and every single experience has been fantastic. I first started dealing with Bobby, who was absolutely excellent — he built a genuine connection with me and always went the extra mile to make sure I was looked after. That relationship gave me the confidence to keep coming back.
Now I’m being looked after by Harry as my account manager, and the service continues to be just as impeccable. It feels less like a transaction and more like being part of a trusted circle where everything is taken care of.
Even though I live in London, I still make sure all of my cars come through this dealership. That’s how much trust and confidence I have in the team — they remain my first call whenever I’m looking for a new Porsche.

I had an excellent experience at Porsche Centre in Hillington , Glasgow. Every time I visit, Dhaine is always very helpful, welcoming, and attentive, making the whole process smooth. Recently, I had an issue with my car, and Allan, the service manager, went above and beyond to assist me. He was professional, knowledgeable, and made sure everything was taken care of quickly and efficiently. Their outstanding customer service truly reflects the quality you expect from Porsche.

Dhaine Conn is always ready to drop what he’s doing to help. Nothing is too much trouble for him. Thank you Dhaine. Also special mention to the reception team. They are brilliant - always remember my name and also know how I like my coffee. Great professionalism. It can feel intimidating walking into a Porsche showroom, but the team are so welcoming and genuinely feels like a cool place to just to drop into when close and have a coffee and talk cars. They are genuine enthusiasts. Also a special mention to Bobby Thompson who welcomed me and my sons the very first time we walked in and answered all my questions, including involving my sons in the discussion. That was several years ago and since then I been back several times and through that time bought a few things, all because he broke down my preconceived ideas about such dealers. Thank you.

See addendum at end.
Bought my Macan from the Centre in 2021. It has been serviced or had oil changes there since then. Service been fine-not sure I would describe it as exceptional which is what is aimed for by them but good enough.
The car was in for service in July.I asked them to look at rear washer as no water was coming through. The service advisor Robyn Dodds told me is was a common problem (an internet search had told me that)usually dealt with under warranty as a component in the system needed replaced but it could be a big job to get to it.When I collected the car later in the day she told me they had not looked at washer but part of the front suspension was rusty and needed replaced but Porsche HAD already approved this as a warranty item. My first reaction was to think this was a second potentially significant issue in a car not 4 years old but then thought the fact Porsche HAD approved replacement was pretty good service-an observation I made to my wife and various friends when discussing the position.I honestly did not know what the warranty position was on the car but was not worried as Porsche HAD approved a repair and the washer issue was patently a design or manufacturing issue which I felt happy Porsche given their reputation would sort.
We were due to go away for a few days so arranged to drop car in on a Saturday in a couple of weeks as did not need car that week and they would not need to give me a courtesy car which had been offered.
I was somewhat bemused when Robyn phoned me early on the Tuesday when the car was in to say there was no warranty in place and I would need to pay for the work. To be honest she sounded a bit embarrassed. We had a bit of a discussion and I recall her saying that I would not expect to get a washing machine fixed after 4 years. I am not sure of the relevance nor whether Porsche would equate their cars to a washing machine but being honest I was so taken aback I did not really think things through. I made the point the wiper issue was due to a poor design or build issue and I did not think it fair that depending on when this happened I should expect to pay a potentially significant repair bill. She offered to speak to Porsche but I think she said when she had done so in past they had not been prepared to make any contribution. The way she said that made me feel she would not take the issue up with any conviction so I told her to leave it and do no work on the car.If I was cynical I might wonder if this was some ploy but I do not think that.
A subsequent quick internet search found 2 similar cases in one Porsche made a contribution (not sure how much)while in the other the dealer carried out the repair as a gesture of good will. I can only surmise Porsche Glasgow have a different relationship with Porsche and a different approach to customer relations. When I picked the car up the chap I dealt with-Robyn was not in-said he understood there had been a misunderstanding. Not on my part and I am at a loss to understand how a technician, Robyn and Porsche all thought the suspension was a warranty issue if that was not the case.
So what next? I am wondering if I have a proverbial Monday or Friday car which I should sale before more problems occur. I have a valuation for it. I do like the car however .
The suspension issue is an advisory so when the car is in for MOT in the local garage I will chat to the owner who is a Porsche fan and see what he says.Living in Scotland a wet rear windscreen is not normally an issue so I may see if can disconnect system to make sure no water is leaking into the car-I am not aware of any.It seems a strange approach however in a £60k+ car that I need to disconnect a system which is clearly a known problem(check the internet) but which Porsche are unwilling or unable to deal with and have not issued a recall about.
The answer to all of this from Porsche or the dealer may be that I should have extended the warranty and/or in relation to the suspension I am no worse off than I was before I took the car in that Saturday apart from having used some fuel and 2 hours of my time(which as my children would say I will not get back) taking the car in and going home on the bus(we also arranged to come back early before this all happened so I could collect the car).
However the fact remains that on a car which is not 4 years old on the approach of Porsche I have over £2k of costs(based on what I would be charged ) to rectify issues.
To be fair they cleaned the car when it was in.
Addendum:
When I picked up car I was given an envelope with an inspection report. No one said anything about contents so I put it to one side. When I looked at it it indicated that the water supply to rear washer was sorted. Looks like my car does not have major problem with this. Good news. Shame this was not communicated to me. Might have affected my views. Maybe the issue is one of poor communication. Still think 2 stars correct.
Jade and Bobby have been fantastic through the whole purchase process. No hard sell but good advice when comparing models and then with the spec process. The handover was a highlight and the follow up phone call sorted any minor questions.
Highly recommended.

I hardly know where to start in describing the terrible service I have received from this dealer.
I am on my 4th Porsche and so have been a good customer. This makes not a jot of difference.
Cancelled bookings, phone calls not returned, emails not replied to, faulty wheel repairs .... I could go on.
After hitting a brick wall with the most recent issue, I resorted to writing a review online. Suddenly I was called within 12 hours and offered a night at Cameron House and £100 - if I withdrew my review. I agreed.
I was promised I would be sent details of how to make a booking and despite 4 chasers, I have heard nothing.
My message to Syntner is don't ask me again. This review is staying and I will never buy from this dealer again.
Excellent service from these guys!
I returned from holiday and there was a technical fault with my Taycans locking mechanism.
Alan and Ian the service technicians could not have been more helpful and competent in their roles.
Within 5 minutes they had diagnosed the problem and fixed it.
Superb service.

Just wanted to say a huge thank you to Derek Stewart and his team. I have had a customer relationship with the Glasgow Porsche Centre for 2 years. I went in to see Derek just after New Year, to look at a pre-owned Cayman S and bought it - on the day of collection, the car was presented to me in the showroom (a really nice touch), factory-fresh and immaculately prepared inside and out. Needless to say, the car drives superbly. The service, advice and knowledge that Derek provided was 10+ out of 10 and the whole experience was so enjoyable and stress free. If you are considering a Porsche, I would recommend that you give Derek a call, he will really look after you!

To paint the picture, I've just bought my first approved used Porsche, I'm still very new to the brand so this was realistically my first exposure out with the sales experience, which regrettably was at a different branch. I dealt with Allan Robertson, he could not have been more helpful. From the conception of my booking, all the continual email check-ins and upon arrival to the centre he made me feel really valued as a customer. All staff inside the centre were fantastic throughout my 2.5 hour waiting appointment whilst my Cayman GTS had work carried out on it. The staff at reception were so attentive and ensured I always had what I needed during my wait. I could ramble on but just a thank you to Allan Robertson, Findlay from Service and all the staff at reception.

Familiarity would seem to breed contempt. Dealing with the team for some 10 years on purchase, servicing, warranty of my 911. In last 12 months calls not returned, actions not actioned - only so many excuses of under staffing stands up to scrutiny. A shame - has went from exemplary service to really not so good at all.

Recently (and regularly!) I’ve had many issues with my car, resulting in multiple visits to the dealership.
Whilst the overall experience at the dealership has been acceptable, and the reliability of the car unacceptable, I feel compelled to highlight the outstanding customer care received by Chris Scott.
Chris has not only impressive technical expertise but his outstanding interpersonal skills has given me the confidence that these issues will be resolved and are of utmost importance to him.
Chris takes ownership of problems and proactively updates me on the status of any repair (even if it’s not good news).

With regard to geography, Glasgow Porsche Centre is not our local dealer, it’s not even 2nd closest.
We have been lucky enough to collect two new cars from them in recent weeks and we can’t recommend them highly enough. From first point of contact, through the allocation process, specification process, all the way up to the handover, our Sales Adviser, Kris, was professional, attentive and approachable. He made the whole experience a real pleasure.
We will be back for all our servicing needs and future purchases.
