The experience was as I would expect from the Porsche Brand. The service element of my booking was cancelled whilst I was en route to the Dealership due to there being no PDK Oil being available for my car, although the MOT could still be carried out!! This was despite my car having been booked in on the 18th April (3.5 Months ago). Booking with Sytner Porsche Glasgow was necessitated due to my MOT being due whilst I am in Scotland and couldn’t wait until my return home to Berkshire. On my arrival I was advised that a cancellation had been received from another customer booking which was scheduled for Friday 31st July and the PDK Oil allocated to that vehicle could now be used for mine, I find this to be very odd on the basis that I must assume that this vehicle had been booked in over 4 months ago!
Ryan Charlton profusely apologised saying that he and his colleague had been on holiday last week causing the lack of communication until the very last moment. Having said all of this I am otherwise pleased with the service and the courtesy extended by Porsche Glasgow.

I originally booked online
I originally booked online, asked for a courtesy car as I had no option for a pick up, on the Friday before I got a call saying no car was available could I reschedule we agreed Tuesday 21st, I also asked for car to be checked specifically for brake wear as I’m booked into track days and also for bodywork as I had been told on a previous visit the car needed some repairs, these should be covered under the plan I bought with the car. I arrived 8:30am, on 21st they didn’t have my booking, to be fair they were able to find the paper work and had a car available, but it took over an hour. I had no further updates until a message the next day to say the car was ready could I come and get it, as I type a day later Ive still not had a receipt, vehicle assessment or body work report. The car was also returned dirty inside and outside. It was a major service so nearly 2k and while I appreciate the effort of the team the lack of follow up and condition of car have shaken my confidence the car will be ready for the trip I’ve planned for sometime now.

Unexpected 911 brakes issue
issue with my 911 brakes.
Discussed options with Laura McMahon at service and also Chris Scott Service manager
they were outstanding in their support to me and came up with options for the repair
Communications were excellent and the issue resolved

Quick easy and efficient as always, Alan was ready with the paperwork and my loan car was waiting for me.
My car was repaired and returned to me as quickly as possible.

Cannot fault the service!
My car was in for a major service and I had asked for a courtesy car, the car was there cleaned and ready to go and to make it more interesting it was a brand new Macan EV , something I had been interested to try and wasn’t disappointed. Might be an ev in my future right enough.
Anyway my car wasn’t fully ready on time but I was kept up to date fully the full time and Ryan even messaged me early next morning that give me a full run down on what was going on and when the car would be ready. The only downside was the painful part of payment which can only be expected when driving a Porsche but in my opinion, you get what you pay for and my experience as first class and five star! I know my Porsche is kept in tip top condition by top mechanics and a top service team! Thanks again maybe I can get a 911 to try next time please. Have to mention Ryan for his service and up front demeanour ! No nonsense and no jargon thanks again
