Sytner glasgow
I visited on 17/02/2026 with a pcm fault and a oil leak which were picked up on the vehicle inspection report
I was advised that the pcm needed a new cooling fan and the oil leak on the gearbox needed cleaning ,then test driven to see where leaking from
I returned on 20/03/2026 and was presented with a further vehicle report with a host of other faults
No indication was given to me that an attempted repair was done on the faulty fan , or that the gearbox was cleaned and test driven before being rechecked
I specifically asked for the gear box oil levels to be checked
My questions are were these things done ?
My next question is why were all the faults on the second report not picked up on the first vehicle report as this could greatly influence my next steps
I await your response

Poor service
We got a call to ask if we would like to get car serviced which we did, we were told our appointment would take 3.5 hrs . Appointment was 9.30 and car wasn’t ready until 4pm . As we are quite the distance my wife was basically stranded with no option of a courtesy car. We then had to make arrangements for our daughter to get picked up from school.
I found this to be very poor service & communication on Porsche part.

Purchase of new Cayenne
Charlie managed the purchase of my new Cayenne from start to finish.
At each stage he exceeded my expectations, from getting me a suitable financial deal to collecting me from the car rental company and bringing me to the garage to collect my car.
His eagerness to make the experience a positive one was refreshing and great to see.
Was a nice touch, on the day of collection, when I was given a card and bottle of champagne for my birthday

Pleasant Customer Service
As for Customer Care Robyn was very pleasant & helpful at Service Dept together with Ryan ,Also Ian who came over to the car and solved another issue there and then.Unfortunately the disappointment is to have had technical problems in a very new Cayenne not what to expect from Porsche,also there were a few initial problems in how to proceed when the car had to be booked in and we needed a replacement vehicle.The Cayenne is still a great car to drive and enjoy hopefully all is sorted now

Excellent service with pre planing calls. Warm friendly and very professional discussions and a really clear plan of support and work required to complete both the MOT and supporting warranty extension. All done superb quick and very happy.

Great customer experience
When I first arrived a went to the service desk who pointed me in the direction of reception. I got to reception I was told to pop to the cafe and grab a coffee and Laura, would be my service advisor for the visit and she would come and collect my key from me. A couple of minutes later, Laura came and introduced herself and explained that she would be looking after me on this visit. She understood I was tight for time, wasted no time taking my key and getting the car in to the workshop. Within a couple of hours the warranty work was completed and I met Laura outside as I was walking back into the parking area. Laura was keen to make sure I was happy with the work carried out and had a wee chat about what my plans were for the rest of the day and generally made you feel at ease, unlike some other dealerships where it’s quite a daunting experience, but this certainly wasn’t the case at Porsche Glasgow.

My first Porsche. Had all the top brand German cars in both saloons and SUVs. Why buy a Porsche I asked myself and Jade the sales executive was brutally honest about the car and the upsides and downsides vs other makes…the car se sold me fitted exactly what I wanted and ticked the boxes vs the market alternatives

Brand new Macan GTS Fault
Brand new Macan GTS developed fault, PCM screen not working, the day after delivery. Didn’t get the impression that the dealer was particularly interested as it took two weeks to get the car seen for diagnostics. Work done last week and started the car this morning- you guessed it, the screen isn’t working again.
Have now had to visit the dealer 3 times since I have had the car, less than a month, and have had to deal with a different person from Servicing each time - definitely not the premium experience I was expecting from Porsche, let alone any recognition of the inconvenience and disappointment.

The buying process was a necessarily unusual one for my own specific reasons and the team rose to the occasion brilliantly to manage my needs and keep me fully informed.
From day one the team were helpful, friendly, knowledgeable and attentive.
They managed me through the process excellently culminating in a wonderful handover session in Glasgow.
I can see it won’t stop there as after-sales care seems 1st class
