Superb support from Ed Phillips and Mark James of BMW. Our vehicle has been written off in accident and they were both very supportive in finding a replacement

Excellent service
I bought my BMW X3 from Sytner six years ago. I take it for an annual health check and any time I get a notification such as a brake fluid change which I had recently. They always check and top up all fluids and wash my car when they're finished. I can keep track on my phone what they are doing and there's a video sent as well. Excellent service.

Poor customer service
We visited Cardiff BMW as a family hoping to explore a couple of cars. When we approached the receptionists for help, they called for a salesman who arrived looking untidy and visibly bothered by the request.
When we asked to look at two cars, he told us “I can only show you one, so choose the one you like most” he then walked off and told us to wait outside. We waited, but he never came back out. He had simply opened the car remotely from inside and left us to it. No introduction, no guidance, no basic courtesy, very poor customer service.
The atmosphere throughout didn’t feel family friendly either. One of the receptionist kept glancing back at us without smiling, and our children just enjoying a spin on the chairs seemed to be an issue.
We then visited Newport BMW and the difference was incredible. Sam greeted us with a warm handshake, was professional and friendly, gave us his full time and attention, and genuinely helped us explore the right options for our family.
We wish we had read the reviews for Cardiff BMW before wasting our time. We won’t be returning for any services in the future. Newport BMW has earned our business.

Excellent Service
Although the garage was clearly very busy all customers were receiving full attention. Hospitality whilst vehicle was serviced was good and car was returned in immaculate condition.

Disgusting service when I just needed recall work to be completed
Disgusting service, avoid and buy/service elsewhere.
Only used this site as closest location for ‘bmw recall’
Didn’t even discuss or mention what the recall was for.
In their infinite wisdom without my knowledge or my permission they did a ‘walk around check and video’ of my vehicle. No issues found but they then asked me to sign paperwork for something i didn’t ask them to do or agree to so I told them to go forth and multiply.
Technician then decided he was the police and refused to give me my key back saying ‘I must sign the paperwork otherwise he’s not giving me my key back’
Wrong move sunshine!
So I turned around, walked into their showroom and at the top of my voice ‘told everyone what was happening and to take their business elsewhere’ and some did. That’s many thousands of £ your not getting BMW.
After I chose to sign with an ‘c’ rather than knock the child out, they then gave me the wrong key.
Eventually found my key and what was meant to take 1.5 hours took over 3 hours and I missed the first half of a football match that kicked off locally at 12:00
Next time BMW don’t make the excuse of ‘we do this for all cars that come here ad a good will gesture’ as what that really means is ‘great we’ve got their car so let’s inspect areas to try and get more money off them’ no I know now why you do it BUT YOU NEED TO ASK PERMISSION WHEN DOING THIS AS YOU BUNCH OF IDIOTS DIDNT ASK ME, THEN REFUSED TO GIVE ME MY KEY BACK AFTER ASKING ME TO SIGN SOMETHING I DIDNT KNOW ABOUT AND WOULD NOT HAVE AGREED TO.
Massively underwhelming and for such a well known company you should be ashamed of yourselves
Serious faults from day one – dealership refuses to fix
I had a very poor experience with Sytner Cardiff BMW after buying a BMW 840d sold as BMW Approved Used.
On the first drive home, the car suffered a severe brake judder. The same day I also discovered a faulty smart key. Further problems appeared shortly after.
BMW Sytner Sheffield inspected the car and confirmed serious faults, including warped brake discs, a defective key, a non‑working heated armrest, and engine revs dropping suddenly.
Sytner Cardiff BMW initially refused to pay for this inspection and only agreed after I escalated the issue to Keith Farrell. Despite the BMW report, they have refused to authorise repairs and instead pushed a buy‑back.
Communication has been extremely poor — I have had to chase for every response. As things stand, the matter is still unresolved, and my latest correspondence asking to arrange repairs has been ignored, so I will be taking further action.
Very disappointing experience. I would advise others to be cautious.

Great Visit
Always a great welcome at Sytner, Hadfield Road. Professional service throughout. Always kept informed of vehicle’s progress.
Disappointing and disinterested
Very disappointed that our folding roof ‘went wrong’ on such a new car. It turned out it was probably from a ‘software update’. These are a menace. Each time we have one our settings are thrown into chaos.
We found that our visit to you to talk about the problem was greeted with disinterest.
Eventually it was booked in and fixed but why did someone retune the radio and couldn’t the seats be returned to their original settings?
Eventually we found a helpful person who came out to the car with us who explained things honestly.

Can’t believe this is happening again
Can’t believe this is happening again. There’s been nothing wrong with my car. I took it in for a service and everything went wrong. And there was a knocking on drivers front wheel which you could not find out where the noise was coming from So you could not fix that. rang awhile back to have a full service on the Bmw spoke to a gentleman he gave me a price of £300 wow I thought it was brilliant when it was ready to come in for the service I find out it’s 600 odd pound that’s weird but went ahead with it but ended up paying like thirteen hundred had the full service back brakes air con gassed also engine decontamination .Thought it .would be a hundred percent done by yourselves BMW. I thought you were top people, are you ? Couple of months after Service the rocker cover starts leaking.I took back to yourselves and cost me another £1300 odd pound paid it thought it was a bit weird , all seems to have happened since being in with you. Then doing rocker cover they’ve put too much oil in it tells you on the dashboard. Need to bring it back to us now. I live in Bridgend and I’m coming back-and-forth to Cardiff because of Bmw .What happens brings it back today 1-11/2 hrs they said been with you 3 hrs plus, said oil was fine but they said they would calibrate it but nothing changed then said another hr they could try and reprogramme. but that never worked Then I’m told it it’s an oil level sensor another £500 odd I had to stop there and say no this is gone up in 1000’s within months and they also told me a rear fog light bulb it’s not working ended up now 150 to diagnose instead of putting a bulb in it trying it but no way am I paying that out for the bulb? Anyway, every time I went down to Bmw it was costing me more money I had to walk away in the end.Your reviews on trust pilot are not good at al,You got to take it all apart to do rocker cover who knows knocked something off I’m no mechanic and then also my DSC x4 light comes on , I don’t know tells you this , shows you proof of picture taken on phone you can’t find anything, nothing showing up on computer feels like I’m lying about this but got pictures to prove this.Im lost for words don’t know what to believe or say anymore, don’t deserve 1 star !!!!
