Absolutely shocking service. I booked a service in February/March and was told that June was the earliest opportunity when I did have a courtesy car. Disappointing that there's a 3 months wait, but I booked it.
Less than 24h before the service I get a voicemail to tell me that a courtesy car is no longer available. I need a car for work. That gives me no notice to reschedule my appointments or make alternative arrangements. Moreover it demonstrates poor management if cars are unavailable due to service overruns etc.
Trying to call to sort things out I'm told variously that it's a big service, or it's not a big service, it will be ready by close of business, or it might be ready by close of business. After yet more frustrating calls the service manager promised that my car would be collected early (I was originally planning to take my car and exchange for the courtesy car), to give the best chance of getting the work done and my car returned.
Nobody turned up until mid morning (so much for early!) with no courtesy call to advise they were running late, yet another waste of my time, but my car departed.
Mid afternoon I get a call to say it's ready and just having a wash, then it's on its way home. I'll get another call in half an hour to make payment.
An hour later and I get another call to say they've found a problem during the road test and it won't be done today. Service manager arrangesto deliver their car, but can they have it back tomorrow morning - Erm. No. I need a car for the day. Could I deliver it before they close? Probably not as I wouldnt be able to get there in time because of my schedule.
I did get a car, and events took a more normal turn after that, but the cancelling of a long booked courtesy car causes a huge amount of stress and frustration. But it's only a one off right? Nope. A previous service had also been booked in which I (fortunately) had to postpone. On that occasion the event didn't get removed from their system and I experienced the same cancellation of courtesy car less than 24h before the service. The time before that 2 days of work stretched to 5... (at least I had a courtesy car that time)
I really enjoy my car, but the standard of aftersales service is frankly abysmal and I have to seriously ask myself if that's want I want to subject myself to for future purchases of the same brand
EDIT: I've just driven the car for the first time since it was serviced and it went into restricted performance mode. So what did you do when you took two days to perform a service?

Nothing was too much trouble. I was collected from the station and delivered up to Jaguar Bristol in style and comfort where my new FType was presented to me red velvet bow and all. Absolutely stunning. Ryan was on hand throughout and even replied to my email on his day off with a call. I cant wait to buy my next Jag from Sytner Bristol. No one compares.
Thank you Ryan Frankcom.

Awful service. 1st appointment very hard to get booked into work shop for diagnostics of fault. Months later, appointment date arrives and less than 24hours before 1hr diagnostics appointment, phone call received from JLR to tell me i must re-book due to workshop backlog. To my frustration obliged and booked nearest slot, 4 weeks later. Again, less than 24 hours to appointment and receive a text message to inform me that i need to leave car for 2-3 days for diagnostics. If unable to do so must re-book.
Extremely poor communication, total inability to plan.
After security issues not dealt with, hitting the consumer Via increased car insurance and reduced value of car, it's been a very disappointing time as on owner of a Land Rover. Would not recommend to anyone.

They really understand customer service. Staff are friendly, helpful and interested in customers needs. Despite how people may regard this and other similar companies, I can state that they went out of the way to reduce the amount I had to pay. Refreshing. Overall I was made to feel valued.

Unfortunately things have not improved since my last visit! This time I arrived within 2mins of my booked time and was asked at checkin - have you booked as we have no record of you? Yes I booked using your booking line, checked in on line as requested and confirmed my visit when a member of your team called me yesterday. So I am accompanied to a waiting area, where I sit for over 20mins. Eventually I approach the original member of staff, who says he will enquire what is going on. Some more minutes later a member of service team approaches and says we don't know why you are here, the parts we need for your service aren’t available and we have no idea when they will be in. We can’t do your service. Well I’m here because I booked and you called me less than 24hrs ago to remind me to come along. After another check I am told no-one made a call to me, even though I show the member of staff the call record on my phone. Eventually it is agreed the service will be conducted and I will need to return on another date for the missing part to be fitted. In the afternoon I return to collect the car and am presented with a bill for the full amount including the missing filter. I am told, they obviously found one as the technician has ticked to say he replaced it. Really?? Can you please check. Some minutes later he returns, no in fact he didn't do that work. But he signed the service record showing he did do it - yes, don't know what happened there, anyway I’ve adjusted the cost so lets just get you away as I don't want to hold you up. What about the leaking rear tyre I reported at checkin I ask, yep he looked at that no fault found. But there is a fault it keeps going down - no he checked its OK. The record shows all tyres with acceptable (and interesting identical tread depth) and all tyres at same identical pressure. On my way home I check the pressures and find none of the tyres are at anything like the pressure stated and guess what the one which keeps going down is much lower than the other 3 and just about to go into alarm. So I can only conclude that not only was a false record made on the report for work that wasn’t performed, and I was almost charged for, if I hadn’t challenged it, also false tyre pressures, a clear safety issue and perhaps tread depths have been recorded. I called the service manager immediately and was told it would be investigated in the morning and I would be called back with an explanation. However perhaps unsurprisingly no one has called. This is not just poor service it appears to be falsification of safety critical information.

I bought my Jaguar I-Pace from Sytner-Bristol in November last. I am very happy with it, which is more than I can say about the customer service I have experienced since. The car remains under warranty.
On 20 January, I reported to Sytner-Bristol that the front parking sensors were not working (they hadn’t been since purchase). The earliest available date to diagnose the fault was 27 March – 2 months later. An earlier date would have been possible had I not required an essential courtesy car.
At 5.15pm on the day before the check-in I received a terse text message from Sytner-Bristol informing me that no courtesy car would be available. No apology or explanation was given; just a mobile phone number which was out of service. I tried repeatedly to call Sytner but with no answer. The business closed at 6.00pm.
First thing the following morning I managed to get through to the Service Dept. I was told, somewhat disturbingly, that due to a high load of urgent Jaguar service needs in the region, many other customers also had their courtesy cars cancelled. Instead, they could offer me a taxi service to take me home after drop-off and collect me the following day. I had no choice but to accept.
I collected my car the following day at 5.15pm. I was informed that a faulty front sensor had been found and that someone would be contacting me the following day to discuss the next steps. Nobody called.
So, I called Sytner-Bristol only to be told that earliest they could replace the faulty sensor would be 13 May. I was informed that this 7-week delay was due to delivery of the part from Jaguar and the need to paint the sensor to colour-match the car’s bodywork. It was not due to a request for a courtesy car.
Once again, on the day before check-in I received a text message to say that no courtesy car was available. A taxi service was provided. This is a disgrace.
In total it took an unacceptable 3½ months to fix my car from the time I reported the fault, with the frustrating hassle of the lack of courtesy cars and poor customer communications added on.
On a positive note, I have always found the service check-in personnel very courteous and affable. The quality of the work carried out by the service technicians is excellent. The problem appears to be one of disorganisation either within Sytner or between Sytner and Jaguar or both, in addition to an apparent lack of EV trained service technicians.
I am looking for a possible alternative Jaguar dealership for my future service needs.

The dealer did a basic service (all that the car required) and MoT. The workshop hourly rate is high (fixed-price service). I was invited to view the progress of the work on the car through a 'tracker'. When it showed completed and 'ready for payment', we went to collect the car. I was told that the car had not had the 'complimentary' wash & vac. When i queried why the car was shown as ready, i was told that it was only 'completion of the workshop'. Not satisfactory at all, as the high hourly rate includes such services.

Not the service I would expect from a business that sets itself out to be a quality dealership but unfortunately a service I have become accustomed to.
Despite being promised a loan car this was not available when I arrived for a service and MOT. Despite receiving multiple texts in the days leading up to the service, no call was made to my mobile, and I was told a call was made to my work landline which I did not receive.
When I questioned why no contact was made with me prior to turning up, I was told by the customer service assistant that I was shouting at her (definitely not the case) so the problem was now me. Maybe this is how they are trained to deflect their incompetence.
To cap it all, despite confirming twice I would like a wash and valet, the car was returned without either. The reason they gave was the wash was booked in at 5pm, and they delivered the car back to me before that. They offered me a free wash and valet next time I was in the area but I rarely am so no great help.
In mitigation the dealer did arrange and pay for a taxi home but I was left without a car for the day.
I have been a Jaguar customer for 14 years. Suffice to say this will be the last contact I will be having with the dealership.

I bought a second hand Ipace from
JLR Bristol and I wish I never did, after sales has been pretty poor! I had the car for less than 30 days and it started to have faults the 1st time it went in it took 5 hours when I was told it would be 30 mins the second time it’s been 2 weeks and they still have it!
They finally found out the big BIG long list of issues (£3700) worth of problems one which was brakes and tyres now all of these faults clearly should of been checked off before they handed the car over to me on the day of the sale! Quite frankly they handed it to me in a dangerous way.
They don’t reply to your emails and when they do it’s aww I have escalated your complaint and you still hear nothing.
I do NOT want this car back.
Don’t waste your time here.

My previous experience of Sytner Bristol has been excellent - however in this instance everything seems to have gone pear-shaped. The car was booked in for repair on a specific day - but on arrival I was asked if we could leave the car overnight because they were behind with other work. I agreed to leave it until the following day, however, three days later I was telephoned to say that the car required some parts and approval by the warranty company - and would I like to leave the car or take it away until the parts arrived. I arranged to take the car away and Syntners agreed to telephone as soon as the parts and warranty agreement were available. Over a week later with no updates from Syntners, and following several telephone calls from me (which were not returned) I eventually spoke with the service manager. At last everything seems to be moving forward and the car is now, once again, booked for repair.

Distance purchase: Excellent customer service from Lydia and Rob. Arranged a personal video of the vehicle inside and out. Arranged everything so I only had to travel to the showroom once to test drive and take home. Excellent service on arrival, offered refreshments and looked after by staff. Great service, really happy with the car, big thanks to Lydia and rob :) would definitely recommend highly

I had to wait three months for the service date - because I needed a courtesy car. Had a phone call the day before to say no car was available. I had to complain and finally they relented. However they couldn't complete a simple service in the first day - so kept my car overnight, I phoned at 5pm to ask what was happening with my car and was promised a call back; no call came so again I rang at 5.55pm and was told "its unlikely you will get your car back as we close at 6pm". Having been a promised a morning call to update me - I again had to ring them around lunchtime, as having received an email suggesting some 'add on's' I could pay for, it was clear the service had finally been done. Again - no one was available for me to talk to, but I did explain to the very helpful receptionist that I was fed up with people promising to phone me back and failing to do so. This time someone rang me back within an hour - but to explain a warning light around SOS communication was caused by a lack of coolant.... when I queried this, ten minutes later a call back changed this diagnosis to the battery needing charging and they would let me know later when to pick my car up. Having got thoroughly fed up of chasing these guys - I awaited their promised call..... which of course never arrived. So onto the third day and again I had to ring to be informed that the warning light was not a battery issue, but actually an antenna problem that they would change during the day. To my surprise the service tech actually rang me back - but only to say that having changed the antenna the warning light was still coming on and they needed to keep the car longer to 'figure out what was causing this'. After three days, three different excuses and me having to chase them constantly - I admitted defeat and demanded my car back, because they are clearly inept. I am taking my car to another dealership. Avoid this lot like the plague!!

Nice dealership , friendly staff who were professional and received the car back
after an excellent valet had been carried out.
Only fault was took longer than they said it would be.
This is the third Jaguar dealership I have had my car serviced at and would probably say it was the best.
