There are a lot of good reviews on this company so on seeing a car on-line we paid the £99 to reserve it prior to viewing. We asked in advance for the service history before visiting. On the phone we were told it was prepped and ready to test-drive. They hadn't sent over the service history for 24 hours but we decided to visit anyway assuming it would be ready when we got there.
We arrived and the car was driven round for us . Bear in mind they knew we had an appointment time. The car was covered in dirt, flying debris like its been left out for a couple of weeks and not touched.. Supposedly prepped there were buff marks all over it.I pointed out a chip instantly on the wheel arch. Went out for a test-drive and we knew more about the car than the salesman.
Sat down with complimentary chocolate but still waiting for the service history.Proceeded to try and sell us guardex and warranty while still waiting for the service history. Waited another 20 mins and beginning to smell a rat. Left with a promise to send the service history through. 30 mins later I get a call and e mail with the service history. We noticed a few anomalies on the history and it wasn't fully traceable in my opinion.We pulled out and the sales person proceeded to try and tell me the service schedule was totally different to the one Volkswagen recommend and publish on the internet and he couldn't see the issue.
Really !!
Paid the £99 Deposit and it took 14 days for them to refund it to us and only then after a reminder.
So unfortunately, i'ts a 0 out of 10 from me and a complete waste of my time, money and effort.

My son’s car went in for MOT and we got a quotation for nearly £1000 for 2 number major faults. We took the car to an independent and trusted garage who repaired the job in under £100
Disgusting illegal behaviour trying to rip off my youngest son. The garage have asked me to report this to trading standards but I simply do not have the time. They have lost another customer.

Absolutely brilliant

VERY POOR SERVICE
We saw a Lexus advertised on Sytner Group Warrington. As we live in Scotland, we wanted to be pretty sure this was the car before we made a nearly 500 mile round trip to view the car. We had been looking for a while and not been able to find a car with the correct spec, so a long journey seemed perfectly reasonable to get the car we wanted. My initial questions were answered and we decided this was the car for us but had a few final questions. If we paid the £99 deposit as suggested by Luke, how long would they hold the car for? If the car is not as expected, what is the arrangement with the deposit? If it is as expected, how long does it take to complete everything so we can drive it back up to Scotland again? I also asked what the warranty was more than once but did not get a reply? I wanted to know if the car had a full Lexus maintenance history, as normally Lexus extends their warranty for another year, up to 10 years old/100000 miles. Surely these are basic and easy questions to answer. I appreciate that a second hand Lexus sale may not be very exciting when you are selling Ferrari and Bugatti, but all customers should be treated with the same respect and consideration. I booked a hotel for us to stay on the Saturday, expecting to have had these answers by the end of Friday and travel on Saturday. I am still waiting for a reply and it is now Sunday. If a sales person does not understand that making a long distance sale involves more questions, in order to satisfy the customer, perhaps Sytner should not advertise long distance. I was even considering buying the car and having it shipped up to me but their reluctance or inability to answer basic questions, has made me somewhat concerned. Can they not answer? Do they not want to answer? Do they not want my business? Who knows but I would not recommend them unless you are in the market for a Ferrari when I am sure they run about and bend over backwards. Very poor service.

Friendly and helpful dealership with great cars
We had a great experience buying our Range Rover. Everyone was so helpful, especially Nia who was really friendly and made us feel like nothing was too much trouble. We turned up on bank holiday Monday and viewed a few different cars, she was happy to get us all the keys and let us test drive as soon as we were ready. She didn’t rush us at all. All the cars were clean and tidy and well presented, much better than several other garages we’ve visited in the last few years!
We found a great car and picked it up on the Friday, and are having a great first weekend away in it! Thanks very much.

Avoid at all costs rude and misleading staff
The experience of finding a car with Sytner was great but from placing a holding deposit to collecting the car the experience was probably the worst I have ever experienced. I had to chase paperwork several times before receiving anything, whenever I called the dealership I was told someone would call back in 10 minutes I never had a call returned 5 times over 3 days, to the point I refused the call back and waited on hold to get the information needed. The person I originally viewed and test drove the car with (Joe B) was on holiday the day after I placed my deposit and the rest of the Sytner team gave the impression they couldn't care less because it wasn't their deal. The rear bumper was scratched and I was told the car would be machine polished to remove as much as possible by the body shop. When I arrive to collect the car it was the same it had just had a wash I raised this at the time of collection and again the Sytner team couldn't care less and said its been in the body shop for 2 days and this was the best they could do I have since removed the majority with some T-cut myself so it was defiantly possible. The person who was completing the paperwork on the day of collection was rude to my Wife and myself and said he's only there to complete the paperwork although he took us outside to inspect the car before the paperwork was completed. Not sure why he did this if his attitude was its not my job "I just complete the paperwork". I asked what the solution was he said "take it as it is or be without a car" as they are not prepared to do anything else. Really happy with the car but I would never purchase from Sytner again due to their poor customer service and lack of communication.

My entire experience from start to finish was first class. Jack dealt with my enquiry in a professional, friendly and knowledgeable way, with equally excellent support from James on financial matters.
From my initial enquiry, I was provided a wealth of information and it was very simple to arrange a viewing of the car and take it for a good quality test drive on a variety of roads and on the motorway.
At no time did I feel pressured and was greatly reassured by the level of warranty and post-sale service available. 5 star service all round and a huge thank you to everyone who helped.
