If I could give these guys no stars it would be too good! After being a valued customer of the Sytner group (supposedly) I have received appalling customer service and possible fraud. My car was booked in for a break fluid service a few weeks back the car was delivered at 8 am and did advise I needed the car back by 3:30 latest as I had a appointment but was told it was a all day appointment I said regardless I need the car back and to be kept updated. At no point did I receive an update from Sytner Solihull I called 3 times and each time was told NO work had commenced and could see this from the BMW checking app. Anyway after being so frustrated I went to collect my car without any work being done on the vehicle and had to book the car with Sytner Oldbury 1 week later. But here is the interesting part when I left BMW Solihull later that day I checked my cars I Drive and guess what…..there was a service indication there that Break Fluid service had taken place 🙄🙄🙄🙄 but the actual service had never taken place????? 🤔 so even though no work had commenced on my car at all and it remained in the same spot I left it when I delivered the car the break fluid service had taken place…..mmmm very strange so if your thinking the same as me I think because my car was very very very low mileage like 14,801 from new I think this break fluid service was never going to take place but if I hadn’t collected the car I would have received a health check video and then been told the service was complete! This place and the management are a compete and utter joke and still up until today can’t give me a proper answer to why this has happened!
After speaking with other Sytner garages they all state what Solihull actually told me that no Information is sent to the cars I Drive until the work in this case the service is completed! But my car received the update without the doors even being opened in the car park.
They say it’s not fraud but I say it is and I will be taking this lot further but please please do not use these guys use another Sytner Dealership I recommend Oldbury who are lots more professional and friendly

Hi
Recived 5 star service from Amy bent
And Lewis
Will be buying my next car from them
Karam hussain
Great service from Ian & Lino, especially when working in a temporary office / showroom with many others, including the full mini team.
Unimpressed however by the 13.9% APR finsnce rate, which is outrageous.
Booked in my car for a service today. Appalling service from KYLE. Very argumentative and rude behaviour. Made me wait almost 45 min to collect my vehicle and instead of apologising Kyle lied and tried to make out he told me to come later. Then proceeded to lie that my vehicle had been road tested but tracker clearly showed it had not moved, Called him outside to show dirt all over back seat but instead of resolving he arrogantly told me it was prob already there. I complained about his attitude and he condescendingly told me to have a good evening and swore under his breath thinking i didnt hear - Absolute disgrace to BMW!
Patient, helpful staff. Understood requirements and efficient service.
A very easy pleasant experience with sytner solihull, made things very easy and every process explained in a friendly informal way.I was dealing with Lewis Whyte who was great throughout and has a great knowledge of the product and was very helpful and easy to contact
Excellent service from Kallum who went above and beyond to get me the right car.
Very happy with the pre sale service and the car. Syed Ahmed is a credit to the team. Very helpful!
Salesman Bashir Mahamed was outstanding. Very comfortable sale for wife's first new car
After nearly 20 years of loyalty to Sytner Solihull, I am extremely disappointed and frustrated by the poor treatment I’ve received. I have trusted this dealership with my car for years, expecting a high level of service, professionalism, and transparency.
Sadly, my recent experience has shown that customer care and communication are simply not a priority at this dealership.
In November 2024, I brought my car in for a recurring issue: a noticeable vibration or shudder when shutting off the engine. After inspection, the service team diagnosed the problem as worn engine mounts and recommended replacement. I trusted their diagnosis and agreed to the repair, assuming it would resolve the issue.
On 22nd April 2025, I brought the car in for a full service, including the engine mount replacement. The work was completed by 1st May, and I collected the vehicle on 3rd May. To my frustration, the exact same vibration issue was still present, completely unchanged. I had paid just over £400 for a repair that did not address the problem I originally brought the car in for. This was not only disappointing, but also raised serious concerns about the quality of the work and the communication around it.
I immediately contacted the dealership by email on 4th May, addressing my concerns to Lisa McVeigh (Service Manager), Arrash Erfan (Aftersales Manager), and Harrisson Foster (Service Advisor). Not a single person replied. I followed up with an online complaint on 11th May — again, no acknowledgment. The silence was shocking.
It wasn’t until I escalated the issue to BMW Customer Services on 15th May that I finally received a reply — from Arrash Erfan on 27th May — 23 days after my initial contact. No apology for the delay. No urgency to help. Just a minimal response that arrived only because I had to involve BMW directly.
On 25th June, I visited the dealership again. This time, the engine mounts were reseated. There was a slight, temporary improvement, but within a few weeks, the vibration returned. I emailed again on 28th July — this time copying in Lisa McVeigh, Arrash Erfan, and Head of Business Sam Callender. Once again, no response whatsoever. No acknowledgment. No follow-up. I had to go back to BMW Customer Services to be taken seriously.
This is not a one-off miscommunication — this is a systemic failure in how Sytner Solihull treats its customers. Emails are ignored. Complaints are not acknowledged. The burden is entirely on the customer to chase for updates, escalate the issue, and fight to be heard. This is not acceptable, especially from a dealership representing a premium brand like BMW.
The total lack of accountability is just as concerning. I paid for a repair that didn’t fix the problem, and at no point was I told that the vibration might persist due to the age or mileage of the vehicle — a detail that would have affected my decision to proceed. When I raised this with Lisa McVeigh, she dismissed my concerns by stating the goal was to replace the faulty mount, not necessarily to fix the vibration. That’s an astonishing response — and completely misses the point. I didn’t authorize a repair just for the sake of replacing a part. I was paying for a solution to a clearly reported issue, which I did not receive.
What makes this even more frustrating is the way my long-standing loyalty has been disregarded. After nearly two decades of choosing Sytner Solihull, I expected better. I expected clear communication, honest advice, and a dealership that would stand behind its work. Instead, I’ve been met with silence, deflection, and an unwillingness to take responsibility.
Final Thoughts:
If you value good service, professionalism, and communication — I strongly advise you to avoid Sytner Solihull. Based on my experience, they do not take ownership of failed repairs, do not respond to customer concerns, and do not value loyalty. I’ve been left out of pocket, ignored for weeks at a time, and forced to escalate the same issue repeatedly just to receive a response.
This is not how a premium dealership should operate. I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere for your vehicle servicing and repairs.

I had a nightmare experience with Sytner Solihull BMW that involved not only poor workmanship resulting in significant vehicle damage but also outright FRAUDULENT practices and a blatant denial of my data rights under GDPR.
My BMW M5 required an engine replacement in 2022, which they handled. However, shortly after, the power steering failed completely. Independent specialists confirmed this was due to Sytner’s negligence in not properly bleeding the PAS system during the engine startup, as required by BMW’s own ISTA manual. This caused swarf in the reservoir and total failure of the steering system.
But the issues went beyond negligence. During the process, Sytner replaced the clutch without telling me— I only discovered this through a job card obtained by The Motor Ombudsman (TMO). That job card had a fraudulent signature falsely indicating my approval. Another job card from August 2022 falsely noted “RECOVERY” under the customer signature, despite me driving the car there myself, and included a note about investigating steering failure two days before I reported it.
When I requested these job cards under a Subject Access Request (SAR) as per GDPR, Sytner denied my request, falsely claiming “legal privilege” which is not a valid exemption. They lied about the availability of the records, as they later provided some to TMO but withheld the critical one for the first engine startup. This is a clear breach of my GDPR rights.
Sytner’s deceptive practices, fraudulent documentation, and refusal to own up to damaging my car have caused me immense stress and financial loss. I’ve rejected TMO’s decision (which ignored the fraud) and am pursuing further action against Sytner and BMW UK for negligence, fraud, and GDPR breaches.
Avoid Sytner Solihull at all costs—they can’t be trusted with your vehicle or your data. BMW as a brand should be ashamed of allowing this under their name.
Highly recommend others to request their job cards under SAR to see if they are also victims of fraudulent signing of job cards.
Collected my vehicle today. Since giving my vehicle which was involved in a accident BMW Sytner have taken care of me. The Badge holds value in most cases but for the staff represent the value and uphold the value. Nay they are the value. Honestly from start to finish. Oliver Luke and Paul have been brilliant making sure I was kept informed took care of the car. They knew I was collecting the car today they didn't want to leave it in the rain. So they parked it indoors for me.

Absolutely disgusting treatment from this company, purchased a used 4 series just over 12 months ago and the paintwork literally started peeling off raised the issue with them and they appeared to be acting reasonably being told the repair had been authorised by a manager to be done. Weeks, months later after been lied to on numerous occasions excuses such as waiting to book a hire car, hasn’t the bodyshop phoned you it goes on. Contacted the body shop directly who knew nothing. Still no confirmation or call to confirm what is happened absolutely disgusting by the treatment and level of customer service given. Never buy a used car from this company unless you want an additional bill for bodywork from a botched paint job sold as a used bmw.

We wanted to buy a used BMW from Sytner. Went all the way in for a test drive and were told we couldn’t as car not ready. Pressurised into reserving and signing a sales agreement despite not being able to test drive. Price went up because we wouldn’t take their finance. Finance heavily pushed, to a point where it cannot be legal to put buyers under that much pressure (not even a good rate on it). They were DESPERATE for their commission on the HP/PCP. It was uncomfortable to say the least and I have referred them to the financial conduct authority. We signed a sales agreement for the agreed price and surprise surprise two days later we were told the price was going to increase as the car needed more work (aka they needed to make up for lack of finance commission) despite signing a price contract. Don’t bother with them, they are total crooks at this garage, reading online we are not only ones who have had issues. I think we had a very lucky escape and have since bought a much better car from another garage for significantly less hassle and money and significant more honesty. No doubt they will come back with a response and explanation for their unethical and unprofessional conduct but it is what it is. I wouldn’t trust them at all. Avoid avoid avoid!!!

Great support received from Anthony Richards and the team.
Anthony contacted me when a specific specification of a M440i became available. Full details were sent to me including a short video once the car came into the dealership.
Arrangements with Anthony to view the car went smoothly including a pick up from the main train station. I was happy with the car and everything was completed for the purchase on that day.
I would certainly recommend this dealership.
Thanks again
