Should have gone to Halfords .....................
Jumble sale quality but at Harrods prices.
Booked in my BMW for a scheduled service, recall and M.O.T for Friday 6th 09:00hrs,checked in online the Thursday evening, arrived promptly to find that the actual dealership was under refurbishment and was directed (poor signage) to the adjacent mini dealer.
No meet and great no friendly face just a screen and a key drop box - lovely
Received a call on the afternoon asking if possible could delay the pick up until the Saturday to which I agreed no problem.
Checked the M.O.T status on the Friday evening to find had failed on a front tyre cut to cords and rear brake pads 2mm (advisory) so kinda knew what the call would entail on the Saturday morning, received the call and was informed about the tyre and that it had also failed on the brake pads to which I questioned but was told a definite no it had failed on that item too, decided to ask for both front tyres to be replaced and for the pads to be done to which was told would now be Monday before I could have the work completed so again reluctantly agreed.
In the meantime the vehicle inspection video comes through from the technician “front tyre cut to cords” rear brake pads close to metal but just an advisory so miss-information from the service agent.
Finally came to collect my car thought I’d find it in the car park and do an inspection of the tyres and rear brakes to find that the n/s front wheel had been scored several cm around the wheel and dented on the rim edge! Entered the mini dealership to what can only be likened to Asda’s at 8am on a Black Friday total chaos!
Stressed staff, herded like sheep, one chap having a row with the service agent for all to hear certainly not the calm, premium experience I’ve had previously, finally had my name called out like at the doctors and the service advisor came eagerly with invoice in hand, I decided not to kick of but calmly explained that I’d like to lodge a complaint that my wheel had been damaged to which she came out to the car took some photos, apologised and promised a resolution, looked at the unfathomable invoice, paid and was assured that the service manager was now aware and I would receive a call on the Tuesday to discuss and resolve, surprise surprise - no call.
Who employs technicians that blatantly don’t care for their customers property and decides to say nothing and then a service manager that appears to have gone quiet .....................
hence the tag
Should have gone to Halfords
Half the price too no doubt.

No complaints about the gentleman who I spoke or the service carried out that was excellent. However the customer experience in booking a service and then having to pay £400 for an oil change which should of been done covered under an existing service plan only to find out it had not long expired based on mileage. Then the cheek to ask if I wanted an engine flush for an additional £200+, maybe if the oil was changed sooner than 20k wouldn't need an engine flush. Also I was told the £400 was a discount it would normally be £520 for a oil filter and oil change. Anyway I'm not going to say anymore very frustrating that all the big companies like BMW it just about their numbers and the assumption is the customer doesn't know anything about cars and because he has purchased an expensive car he can pay more for an oil change. I won't be going back to the dealership.

Disappointing, after many years of Sytner custom.
I've used Sytner garages for more than 20 years for both vehicle sales and servicing and my experience has previously been excellent. Unfortunately, my most recent service visits have been really disappointing.
I booked a 'while you wait' appointment, which I was advised would take 2 - 3 hours. My car was eventually ready 5 hours after I had arrived at the dealership (one hour after the time I'd advised I needed to leave by). Any updates on the status of my vehicle were only provided at my instigation. The only person who seemed to be proactively looking after waiting customers was Dawn on reception. (I'd hand her a 5* customer service mark, if this review allowed).
The MINI app was not updated to show the new service/MOT status - I expressed my concern as I'd previously had an issue following a brake service at this location with a warning message that had not been updated during the work - I was assured that the update would be visible within a couple of days. I'm still getting a warning message about the brake fluid service nearly 3 weeks later. The dealership is not just a 'quick' journey away to get this corrected (again) which just adds to my disappointment. It also makes me question whether the brake fluid was actually changed - I know I was charged for it, but the car doesn't think the work was done!
It might be that Sytner do not want to encourage service visits for older MINIs. If so - they are doing a good job to discourage my continued custom.

They forgot to manage my service
Car wash was booked when I dropped off the car, but it was not completed. It seems the advisor forgot to manage my service entirely until I went to the reception at 4:30 pm to follow up. After that, the team rushed to carry out the service (Brake Fluid), and as expected, the car wash was not done. Overall, very disappointing service management.

You had my car all day just to do a diagnostic which told you the same thing i did about the car and then told me I had to rebook the car in to do the work. After I had to take a day off work just to give me my car back and charge me £150 for the diagnostic.

The only good thing is the Receptionists
The 1 star is for the Receptionists - if I could give them 5 stars I would. If I could give the Service department 0 I would. Not sure what is going on but it has gone down hill - 6 hours wait for an MOT and new tyres only for 1 to blow off on the way home. Poor Training, lack of communication skills. Lack of care, Take it or leave it attitude. No Management around. This is the last time I use the Service Department - Too many people not knowing what they are doing - stay away until they get their act together.

Substandard customer service - Wolverhampton
I find the Mini side of this dealership appalling for customer service.
Booked in service with a courtesy car which THEY confirmed was ok the day before.
Arrived on time the next day, after a while an apology but no courtesy but can we arrange a taxi on us for the inconvenience.
All ok until I arrived at my office for the taxi driver to ask for payment.
Car due back at 4pm (delivering back as apology).
No update so I had to call in and ask where it was so I could leave the office.
Apology again - oh and we will sort out taxi cost.
Received a call the next day with another apology & for my bank details - ‘manager will sort out a refund’.
Still no sign of a refund…
Whole place to me is completely disorganised for after sales service.
I’d go elsewhere if you can & with a 33% 1* rating on here probably tells you all you need to know.

Communication was a little haphazard…
Communication was a little haphazard when it went in for recall and MOT (I received a direct video review of vehicle but it wasn’t clear if ‘cracks’ were serious and would mean failure or advisory) so I spent an anxious night wondering, as when I called back for clarification, mechanic had already gone home and person on phone couldn’t tell me. Work was originally supposed to be done same day, but ended up not getting car back until 3 days later due to early closing over New Year. Was given a replacement vehicle which I appreciated but I have to wonder at mark up of costs at circa £3k for work (I have taken advisories and will try a local garage as seems excessive on a 10 year mini imho)! New tyres look great though and complementary external clean def welcome.

Wolverhampton BMW worst place ever
First of all, I would like to start by saying that I can only give one star due to it will not let me comment if I don’t put a star. This is the worst place that I have ever been to to take My BMW. First of all I was told the repair could be done in a day then when I took it in I was told it would take a lot longer I would not be able to have a courtesy car because they have not got one available but believe the car was in there longer than a few days then one would be provided this happen when I finally got my in to have it checked. I’d already had a full diagnostic done by the BMW in willenhall the Wolverhampton branches this would not be acceptable due to they was only a third-party to BMW and not BMW themselves so they did a diagnostic and came up with the same answer. I needed to cell 3 to be replaced. So I gave them permission to get this done which they gave me a price once my car had been stripped down. BMW contact me and then stated that they needed to do further testing on the car which they had been told to do by BMW in Germany then all of a sudden they came back that I needed another a additional two cells to be replaced and this was going to cost additional £3000 on top of the quote that I was given first they told me that I could have the car back but this would not involve that the cell would be replaced and I would need it recovered, so I had to agree to the Price from the original of 2000 to be a total of 5637. I was all told that I had to be at BMW Wolverhampton no later than 545 as this was a cut-off point and now cars would be able to pay transferred over after that time I was then left sat in BMW until 630 when my keys was handed over to me after I’ve made the payment in full the person that handed out the keys could not give me no information regarding on what work and name which warranty that I had on the work that I’ve been done I can truly say that this will be the last time that I will ever think about or using the brand BMW or mini again well done Wolverhampton your customer services diabolical and you need shutting down

Awful experience..
Awful experience..
Second time now they ruin something up on my car
First recall was for the EGR, got to the place the desk lady was polite and welcoming everything seemed professional until they took my car.
I got the call that the recall was complete and it’s ready to collect. After collecting my car i checked everything over just to find out that they have deleted my apple car play and all my service history.. costed me 500 pound
Second recall for Starter Motor
Same story as above got to the place everything seemed professional until they took my car..
After collecting i checked everything just to find out that my Ghost System has been deleted when I specifically asked them to call me if the ghost will be interfered in any way . Anyways i was disputing the situation with around 4 clowns that have no clue they kept on denying doing anything to a ghost but i came in with a working security system, left with a broken one .. anyways manager sits in my car and says go 30mph maybe it will kick in from service mode so we drove 30 mph and the engine as well as drive train light came on .. i never had any lights on my dash prior to this “service”… AVOID AT ALL COST
I will be taking this up further

Our new BMW
I would just like to thank Samuel (Sammy) and the BMW team for guiding us so professionally through the process of buying our new car. From the first chat to handover Sammy managed the process with humour and accuracy, as well as keeping us informed of the build process. The team are also on hand to answer questions about the car once we started driving. Highly recommended!

Abysmal customer service
Abysmal customer service and would give no stars if that was possible. Dropped off at 8:30am for a brake fluid service and 1st MOT. Queried the price and was told that “you’ve just screen shot that” so proved the difference on the app and was shrugged at. No communication until I phoned at 3pm to be told it hadn’t been completed. Assured it would be done by 5:30pm and advised I needed to pick my daughter up at 6pm so it MUST be ready. Arrived early to a further wait and when persisting for an update at 5:30pm as to where my car was, I was advised when someone came out to me at 5:35 that it would be another 10mins. Due to fears of my child being alone after school I ordered a taxi in desperation. The next day, I had to go via train to collect my car and despite asking that I spoke to someone other than the rude individual I had dealt with the day before was given the same person. For an elite car company no offer to pay for taxi or train fare. No apology for the lack of communication and no apology for the late completion This involved taking further time off work. Will now look to another car company in the future.
