Past 3-4 weeks intermittent Wi-Fi

For the past 3-4 weeks, our internet has been dropping 4-10 times per day. Many phone calls to T-Mobile is the same zero result. They told us the service person came out, and we said, we don't go anywhere, one of us is home all day. DO NOT get T-Mobile for anything. Service is a joke.

Extremely bad service!!!

Extremely bad service!!!

Our internet was down for 2 weeks and at first they offered us free data via an email, it turned out that one of us had to have them as mobile providers for it to work which we didnt! So first attemp failed!

Second time the IT technician didnt show up, we booked an appointment for him to come after not having wifi for 5 days. He told them he showed up but nobody called us or rang the door bell. VERY BAD!

The thrid time, technician came and didnt do anything and just had a look at the router and said that the issue was outside of the house.

Then KPN came after 1,5 to check the issue outside of the house and they were fast to tell us that its the router and not an outside issue! They were so kind to even help us with the router and made it work!

Their customer service is a joke! And several people who managed this made up their own excuses and told us that "oh if you dont have tmobile on your phone, then you could buy a sim card in order to get the free data, but we wont compensate you on the simcard".

EXTREMELY BAD SERVICE!

disgustingly bad (so-called 'unlimited')

(Throughout time I came to experience all the horrifying features of unlimited 4g)
I got 5gig to start every day with. After using the 5gig I had to refill every 1gig more.
It started out with an sms that told me I had used 80% of data. To prevent from reaching 100% (first time I had to create an account) I had to log in and enter a captcha. Yes, you read that right, after creating an account linked to my number I had to enter a captcha.
If I didn't enter the captcha before 100%, t-mobile downgraded my internet to sloooooow.
With every time I had used 80%, I had to log out and log in again to enter the new captcha. Yes, you read that right, I had to re-log-in to enter another captcha.
But this went all along as long as it was convenient for t-mobile to send me an sms. Sometimes I didn't get an 80% sms. So without my knowledge my data was at 100%, I could search with normal speed no more and had to log-in with sloooow speed.
(I called t-mobile and asked why they use captcha. They said it was to prevent from overheating the system. I said that all internet is the same, there's no difference between a wifi signal or 4g signal. They answered with telling me that, well, they just didn't know what to say. Seriously, t-mobile, you call this professional? My, my....)

Lastly, the maintenance. From time to time t-mobile takes its 4g out of the air for maintenance. Meaning once your 1gig is gone all you have left is sloooow speed. Until the maintenance is over. Why is this a big deal? Well, I bought this subscription as 'unlimited'. Seriously? You call maintenance 'unlimited'? (sarcasm ahead) Sure, let's continue at 50kb/s, as if I'll ever be able to use internet for anything.

If there is one word to explain…

If there is one word to explain T-mobile service, it is AWFUL. We waited for 2 months to get internet connected, but when the connection day comes, no one shows up to connect the line. Calling them also does not help as the answer is always "you were not in the system" and then they postpone your connection date for 2 weeks for 4 times. I would stay away from this company at any costs, even if they gave internet for free. Not worth the time.
While T-mobile could not connect our address to internet, Ziggo did so in 4 days...

Bad experience with ordering new products

I have ordered a number of products for a value of EUR 100 a month. The first mobile was delivered today, but... They could not deliver, as my: NL driving licence was of a wrong type (RDW, so are they profiling for nationality?) and my EU,but not NL passport was not good either. Both contracts (for my kids), I ordered for the value of EUR 60 per month (together) were cancelled and I have to order them all over again after spending more than two hours on the phone. I have bought a house and a car and many much more expensive things in NL over the last 23 years I am here, and I was never doubted like this about my financial ability! Let alone the fact that I have been their customer for many years too. I am very disappointed. And it isn't very smart either as when they cancel, I am not coming back.

TERRIBLE.

This company is not worth even one star. It is for sure a minus. Worst client service experience I had in my life. Staff is lying all the time about contacting you, you end up spending your days calling them and being ignored. No ones come on the connection date, they promise they will come after two weeks, but they don't. Always come up with some silly excuses and no one is responsible for anything. AVOID AT ANY COST. I would not want to be their client even if they would be the last internet provider on Earth.

AVOID at all cost!

If there was an option for no stars it would have been better.
I was not provided information that I needed and had to call them myself over and over again.
I was lied that someone will get in contact with me numerous times.
I was told that a technician will come and they did not, they were even closing the phone on me... After all the wait I cancelled my contract and return their stuff to them but they are still trying to charge me for equipment. They do not even provide the same address for returns - I was given one at the cancellation of the contract and another now.
You need to be seriously masochistic to cope with their support.
Avoid at all cost, anyone is better than them!

Lying staff and no reply from HQ

Have been try to get t-mobile to react several times but nothing helps. No answers, no call be no email back.

We moved here a year ago, and bought 2 SIM-cards, now we are leaving the country and they will not let us quit.
We specifically mentioned this when we signed in.
I hope it is a mistake by the sales co-worker, and not an intentionally fraud.
For some reason T-mobile just ignore us.

Can you please contact us ?

Never ever ever will we use t-mobile again

Avoid at all costs!

I applied for an internet connection (t mobile thuis) on 12 of February 2020. The indicated time of the internet connection being ready intially was 25 of March. This is because my apartment is new and some optic fiber work had to be carried out by a t mobile technician. Because of the coronavirus situation, on 17 of March the indicated appointment moved to 17 of April. In the meanwhile, I was receiving no updates from t mobile and I had to log in myself to check it. On 8 of April, the appointment with the technician was postponed again to 24 of April. After several calls, they told me that I have to call KPN because it is their problem. I contacted KPN and they told me that no installation appointment is scheduled at all.
Then, I called t mobile back to cancel my subscription because I applied for internet connection in 2020 to get it in 2020 and not 2021. Initially the customer support guy stated that I had to pay for the whole year if I want to leave because the 14 days had passed. So on one hand they could not provide me the service I asked for and on the other hand they did not let me leave.
After several calls, I managed to leave by paying 75 euros to t mobile for absolutely nothing than waiting for 2 months.
At the end, I applied for ziggo on 9 of April and I got everything ready on 11 of April. Ziggo might be more expensive but its worth it. Customer support, installation speed and internet speed is far better.

We had T mobile for a year and half and…

We had T mobile for a year and half and it seemed fine, not too much complaints but as soon as we moved we needed to get a new modem and new contract (which is also problematic in of itself cause it nulifies the previous contract and starts a new 1 year contract that we didnt ask for). With this move everything went downhill for this provider, they delivered one modem and not the other modem on the same day that the appointment with the monteur would take place and it came after the appointed time with the monteur. EVERYthing following this was a disaster, its one thing to have this current virus affect the course of the work but its another thing when the people that you get to communicate with waste your time (and their own time) telling you different stories and no answer (because they either dont know it or are not telling you about it). And after more than a month there's still no modem and no wifi and on top of that we got bills that are not supposed to be there.

The communication is soo poor between the people there and the customers that I can confidentely say today that I would not recommend this provider for the internet nor TV.

When I switched from another operator…

When I switched from another operator to T-Mobile, for both my phone contract and for my home internet connection, a customer representative from my previous service provider called me and tried to persuade me to stay with them. The offered me a discount for the following six months, and tried to convince me that they were offering the best possible service in the Netherlands. Actually, I had nothing to complain, the service with them was great.
But it was simply too expensive.
T-Mobile would offer me a home internet connection for half the price of what I was currently paying, by taking advantage of the combined home/phone contract combo discounts. I told them I was switching for mere economic reasons, and as a last resort, the customer representative asked me: "Did you read the reviews of your new operator?".
So I went to look at Trustpilot and sure enough, the reviews on T-Mobile were utterly discouraging, to put it mildly.
Normally, only dissatisfied customers tend to leave (bad) reviews, so I decided to take the risk and go on with the switch.
I feel like now it is my duty to report back my impressions on the service provided by T-Mobile, after two months of use: I am completely satisfied with the service provide by T-Mobile, both for my home internet connection and for my phone data/voice plan.
I am paying for the combined service less than what I was paying just for the home internet connection before, with the added benefit of unlimited data on my phone.
The transition was almost effortless, I just connected the modem to the line and everything was set up in a matter of five minutes.
One day, a few weeks later, I started noticing drops out in the connection and contacted the T-Mobile customer service on twitter. They replied in a matter of a few hours, in good English, and helped me to identify the problem. In fact, it was not a T-Mobile problem, but it was the airport express (another wireless device) that I was keeping close to the modem that was causing interference.
After that, I didn't experience any problem at all: I am getting full bandwidth all times of the day.
All in all, I am quite satisfied: for the quality of the service provide, for the responsiveness and friendliness of the customer service via twitter, and for the money I am saving month by month.

contracts are worthless

I will never trust t-mobile in the Netherlands ever again. A contract means nothing to them. I would suggest to anyone that they avoid signing anything because they will not honour it. After my experience I have ended up needing to find a new home internet provider at short notice (luckily there are other providers who get things set up in a fraction of the time that t-mobile say) and paying more for my phone than was originally agreed. It also took them three weeks after signing the contract for them to decide that they cannot offer the service that they promised. Sure, customers have so many days under Dutch law to back out of a contract but t-mobile seem to write new laws for themselves. No apology, no attempt to fix the situation and no compensation for breach of contract. And, yes, I will be contacting the appropriate independent authorities.
To everyone out there, please avoid t-mobile.
Never again!!!

Customer service is an absolute shambles.

Customer service is an absolute shambles.

Tried starting a new contract literally 6 times now.

Each time I call up or go into the store they have no record of it in the system. Then they tell me the only thing is to make a new contract. Then I make a new contract and the old one gets rejected because I have multiple subscriptions in the system.

What an absolute joke.

This is by far the worst phone operator…

This is by far the worst phone operator I have ever encountered. Pretty much everything that can be done wrong has been done and it still keeps going.
I bought a combo deal of wifi and phone with 50e a month. They do the contracts separately and you only get discounts when both of contracts are activated. This makes things really complicated for the customer and pretty handy for them as you can find out late in my story.
I have counted 37 calls to their customer service since October, and things are still not correct.
1. The story of the wifi
I call this company to make the combo deal, give all my info and contract is created. She says in the phone that all opening costs will be removed (25e for the phone 30e for the wifi). I only get confirmation for the phone. I call few days later, the person never filled in the order for the wifi. They create the order. I wait and get some messages that the router is on its way but the address is wrong, I call customer service and they have created the order to a wrong address, new contract is created to a new address. I wait for two weeks and nothing happens, I call them and there is a technical issues to open wifi I am told to wait 2 more weeks (at this point I already waited 3 weeks), two weeks later I am informed that the wifi cannot be connected due to the technical issue and its too expensive to open. The terminate the contract (hallelujah) and I move to Ziggo where my wifi is connected in two days and have had no problems.

2. Story of the phone operator

As they do contracts separately the phone contract is opened even the wifi is not, even the only reason I am taking the phone from them is that I can get the wifi for cheap price. They do not give me the 25e discount for opening, even promised before, I need to fight with extremely rude customer service agent to get the discount through. Additionally I need to negotiate to be able to get the phone for the cheaper price until wifi is connected, as they only apply discounts when both contracts are valid. I find out that the wifi cannot be connected and want to end the phone, as the combo deal was the only reason I took the phone from them. Now the separate contract comes super handy for t-mobile: I have one year contract, if I want to cancel I need to pay 90e!!!! fee to get rid of the contract. With long negotiations I get this amount down to 60, even though this is completely ridiculous, as I was not able to get the wifi I should be able to get out of this contract for free! However, I settled to it as I thought at least I can get rid of this company. Well I was happy too soon, contract was supposed to end 17.1 (I even called 2 weeks ago to double check) and today it is still working. Called the customer service again and my contract has not been ended like how is that even possible. She now canceled the contract but it means I need to be one more month their customer, and I know for a fact that even it was said I do not have to pay for February it will magically appear in my bill meaning I will still need to keep calling and correcting their errors.

AVOID ALL COST

The worst provider ever. I’ve just contracted T-Mobile Thus and have been waiting for two weeks to have Internet access activated. They just say “in three working days it will be working”, but up to now nothing is working.
