Father and Son time made special
I took my Son the Tenpin in Bristol for 2 games of bowling etc.
We had a great time and it was cheaper than the Hollywood Bowl in Cribs Causeway.
OK it's not as flash but the Bowiling lanes are good, so it's the other facilities and activities.

Unorganised chaos
Appreciate Saturday is a busy time. However after patiently queuing (having pre booked) for 30 minutes, we were given a lane. Once we got there, we had to wait another 15 minutes for the family to finish their game. It then took us to go back to the staff to ask to set us up our match after the other family had finished, when told they would sort it immediately.
We played our first shot, only for the staff to then come and move us to another lane, as a family behind were making a fuss and being impatient and didn't want to move. We did to help the situation, however the whole experience was frustrating and a waste of time.

Unacceptable wait time for pre-booked game
We arrived 15 minutes before our booked time and had to wait in the queue for 20 minutes to be seen. At the desk I was told the lane we were booked on was running 40 minutes late!!! I was not offered an alternative lane and ended up asking for a refund.

Great visit
Great visit, really well organised and pleasant. Nice lights. Only 4* as we had to wait about 15 minutes for help when there was technical issue on our lane.

Great hours bowling but expensive
Booking online was really easy. Booked 2 games for my husband, myself and Granddaughter. I thought it was quite expensive for an hours bowling and it was freezing in the building.

There was a long wait to get registered…
There was a long wait to get registered at the desk. We had friends on a lane, so I said to my son I’d see if we could get the lane next to them, so he came back and said which lane was free. The lady then gave that lane to the people in front of us.
We got to our lane and the table had been moved. We had to ask a staff member to put it back.
The children played on the arcades after. Loads of the machines stopped working. There was a claw machine so low the claw wasn’t able to reach anything. My son asked multiple times for help and was continuously told someone would be with him. They basically fobbed him off and this caused upset. The lady at the ticket bit said my son and his friend had less tickets than what the had and wouldn’t let them pick anything else.
It was clearly very understaffed that day.

karaoke room
I have booked the karaoke room.
The set up and system are great however both times the batteries of the mic keep going which then results in missing out time in order to deal with this. The staff do add on extra time which is appreciated. The laser tag is fun too.

Think you need more staff
Our experience was good, but I feel it could have been better if location had more staff There was cues and games machines/arcades were braking. One guy had to serve drinks, sign customers in and give out ticket prizes oh and help fix arcades

Staff were manning the podium
Staff were manning the podium, so we didn’t wait to be checked in (last visit they weren’t). The colleague on the welcome desk was friendly and made nice small talk.
Bowling worked well and the Pizza was deal made it good value for money. A good fun New Year’s Eve.

Great Bowling. Not so great food
Went on a last minute bowling trip with the kids. Bowling was brilliant-A lot of fun. Food…not so much. Ordered food which seemed to take a while to come out and when it arrived was not worth the money in my opinion. A handful of chips and a tiny piece of chicken in an oversized bun. Kids pizza was burnt so asked for another but had finished our game of bowling and it hadn’t come out so requested a refund as was going home and employee tried arguing with my mother in law. Got a refund in the end but wouldn’t be ordering food from there again.

A fun experience, good staff!
We had a great time bowling at Tenpin Bristol for my husband’s birthday. We were a mix of adults and kids and had 2 lanes next to each other. We then played snooker and air hockey afterwards. Good atmosphere, clean and everyone had a great time. Staff were good. We will return!
