Bad Workmanship and no Redress
I am extremely angry with the way I have been treated by this company TGB Sheds (Scotland) Ltd., due to poor workmanship and the extremely poor quality fitting of bitumen felt shingles which had been pre-installed on to the roof by the company. Complaints that were reported to the company were that nails had cracked several wooden panels both inside and outside during installation, no barge boards had been installed and the bitumen roof shingles had been stapled on each external corner of each tile. The ridge tiles were not affixed properly and clearly gaping and loose and the tiles were also lifting on the lower edges of the roof. Subsequently a tile on the roof ridge has fallen off. I was initially told by an office manager that the roof tiles were properly installed and due to nothing being progressed with the issues I pursued a formal complaint. The outcome of this is that nothing has been addressed and I have not even been given the courtesy of a reply despite this apparently being escalated to the Director. I would strongly recommend anyone thinking of purchasing from this company to stay well away. The quality of their workmanship is bad and their customer service and complaints procedure is non existent.
UPDATE
The response I was given here was of not value. I contacted the Scottish office administration as advised and got this negative response.
'God Morning Marion
Thank you for your email.
I would like to confirm your letters were sent to all relevant people on your request and I apologise you have not heard anything.
Again, a lot of what you highlighted in the below message on Trustpilot is how the buildings come up manufactured staples I the tiles, an how the roofs are made. We do understand your complaint but unfortunately the Admin Team and myself can only do so much, you escalated your complaint to board level as you were not happy with the responses I was given – even though these came from the Manufacturer themselves.
The things you have highlighted regards Timber Garden Building Scotland (Ltd) will all be dealt with inhouse and we are striving to be better. During these unpresented times we have had to adapt quickly as a company to different levels as you can appreciate it had been difficult times for all.
I do hope you get this matter resolved, in the meantime if I can be off any further help don’t hesitate to get back to me.
Kind Regards
Naomi'
This is of no help to me and the company's response on this platform is unreliable to say the least and leave me with no further action taken in response to my complaint. I see that this company are stated to have replied 100% to negative reviews unfortunately they send a standard reply with no intent to address any persons issues and complaints.

Think carefully before using this company
I ordered a Fort Harpford Barn through GBC Buildings for Leisure, Woodford Park on 13/07/2020 and it was delivered and installed by Timber Garden Buildings Ltd., Rotherham on 30/09/2020. When I inspected the Barn a couple of days later I discovered that it was leaking badly and the floor was awash with rainwater. I also noted that the opening window was misshapen and misaligned and could not be opened or closed without using force. I was not at all impressed by the overall quality of the joinery in the building so I reported all this to TGB Sheds Ltd. by email on 04/10/2020. Later and closer inspection revealed that there were gaps between panels through which you could see daylight and the roofing felt had been very poorly fitted. In addition the double doors were badly misaligned and could only be opened or closed with quite considerable force. The mere fact that when repairs were eventually made by TGB Sheds Ltd. they supplied and fitted a new three panel wall which included a replacement for the problem opening window, new roofing felt, realignment of the double doors and an incredible amount of silicon mastic to all the joints, so this demonstrates how badly the original shed had been made and installed. The descriptions in the TGB Sheds Ltd. website and in the brochure for the Fort Harpford Barn about the very high quality of the joinery and general workmanship as well as the care and ability of their own installation teams were plainly untrue (at least in this case).
Attempts to get this repair work carried out took some four months largely down to the lack of any "service" from TGB Sheds Ltd. Customer Service team (which seemed to be just one person). Emails went unanswered sometimes for weeks until prompted by angry reminders that the shed was deteriorating because of the delay. Promises to be telephoned with an update on several occasions were broken. Promised dates for the arrival of a team to rectify the problems came to nothing and on one occasion saw the arrival of ONE fitter arriving on a different date from that promised, on his own with a lorry full of the replacement parts but unable to do the work as it was a "two man job". In the end and in accordance with advice given by the Citizens Advice consumer service, I advised TGB Sheds Ltd. by email on 18/12/2020 that as the Barn was not fit for purpose and there was an unacceptable or unreasonable delay in trying to repair it, I rejected the building and insisted that it should be dismantled and removed and my money (nearly £3,000) should be refunded. This was ignored by TGB Sheds Ltd. and on 08/01/2021 I gave the firm 7 days to remove the building. Shortly after this I received a phone call to say that the repairs would be carried out on 29/01/2021. Because my personal circumstances at the time made it difficult for me to do otherwise, I agreed to give the firm one last chance to put right the defects. This was done to a sufficient degree to render the Barn useable for the first time.
I could not understand how the management at TB Sheds Ltd. could have allowed matters to have reached the stage that they had done, so, on 14/03/2021, I emailed the Managing Director, Mr Graham Vernon, inviting him to comment on what had happened over that four month period, pointing out that I was about to write this review for Trustpilot. He responded immediately and sent me an email asking for a meeting with me "to help resolve this and as a gesture of goodwill I would like to personally come and see you this week....This is not something I would usually do, but under the circumstances I feel it is appropriate that you get the attention this should have already received". This meeting took place on 19/03/2021and he was able to see the building which I had just started to use. He apologised for the problems and, in particular, acknowledged that there had been significant delays and missed appointments caused by poor customer service and that the problems could and should have been resolved within one month instead of the four months plus that it did take. He told me that he was making improvements to the Customer Service section and these would be in operation within a few weeks. He told me that he wished to write to me in answer to my emailed letter of complaint and that he would like to "make a gesture" to make up a little for the difficulties my wife and I had experienced with his company. When no such letter had been received by 08/04/2021 I emailed him to ask if it had been lost in the post. He has not even acknowledged this email so I can only assume that the propose gesture involved the use of two fingers!
I have passed on full details of the latest circumstances of this case to the Citizens Advice consumer service so that they can bring Trading Standards up to date with the miserable experience I have had with this company.

Very poor opinion of this company so far
Update:
Quality of potting shed once delivered and installed is very good.
Bought potting shed in March. Still waiting for it to be delivered and installed after FIVE aborted delivery dates. Plenty of excuses why they could not come. Problems with the roof, one of the installers sick and wrong date put in their system. I don't believe a word they say. Obviously can't comment on quality of shed or installation.

TGB leaking shed.
I have a shed from TGB that leaks through the walls and roof. As it appears many people do!.. Plus TGB ignores my emails and letters. Therefore, as the latest positive review, is the same name as a manager who works for the company, I find the review very suspect..

TGB Summerhouse
After being on order for three months the summerhouse arrived without the windows. The inside of the doors looked like they had had a mug of coffee spilt all down them. The doors wouldn't shut and the windows wouldn't open. Lots of drips from the stain which the fitter spent over half an hour trying to remove, not with sandpaper but a power sander which resulted in white patches. My husband has since rectified all the faults - more of a finish it off yourself project! Very disappointing and would not recommend.

Cowboys
Issue after issue after issue, diabolical customer service , never turned up to complete rectification work on 4 occasions, when they did show they had not tools or materials to rectify with. Shed leaks when It rains , water logged inside after rain, daylight can be seen through various gaps from the inside where it hasn't been assembled properly, trim broken and not replaced by the so called fitter. Steer clear this company is bad and we had to pay up front , diabolical business

Worst after sales service ever
My shed was delivered towards the end of November and appeared to be all right. By the 14th of December 2020 I noticed that water was coming in through the roof, soaking the timber, including the walls. I was told someone would come to assess and re-felt the roof on the 26th January 2021 but no-one arrived. Finally someone appeared on the 11th February to do an assessment. I chased up the company 2 weeks later. When I had heard nothing 2 weeks after that, I decided to return the shed and get a refund. That was on the 12th of March. I have heard nothing since. While most of the individuals I have dealt with have been fine, I have never received an apology from the company. I will be contacting my credit card company and looking at the legal recourse available to me.

I cannot believe the previous reviews
I cannot believe the previous reviews! My shed was delivered on time, in fact it was ready earlier than I expected. The installation was carried out quickly and the shed quality is excellent. The two chaps who had travelled from Yorkshire to my cottage in Somerset were extremely helpful and courteous. I cannot thank you enough for the service I have received from beginning to end.

Great product with excellent support
We ordered a sunflower potting shed and were told to expect a 12 week delivery. The shed was delivered early, in only 8 weeks. To ensure it was built correctly I phoned TGB for a detailed construction guide which was immediately emailed to me, arriving before could get to my computer to print it!! Excellent service throughout

Truly Dreadful Service
I ordered a Fort shed on the 1st of August 2020, the estimated delivery date was 10-12 weeks(October 2020) delivery date arrived, went and I had no communication. I contacted Fort-TGB(cc. GBC) to find out what was happening. I had no response so chased it a couple of times, Fort-TGB eventually got back to me saying it would be coming in January 2021, delayed because of lockdown etc. which I can understand though I should have been contacted and no apology was given, when I asked for one from Fort, no one responded again. January arrived and no communication, I contacted Fort again (cc'd in GBC)Fort did not respond even though I chased several times. GBC eventually got in touch and said they had been in touch with Fort, they would be getting the shed end of Jan and it would be delivered and installed beginning of Feb. Again...end of Jan arrived and no communication, I contacted Fort several times but no response, so I called GBC who contacted Fort, found out the shed had arrived but a part was missing and they were waiting for that to arrive before they could deliver and install it. I contacted Fort several times since then asking for an estimate of when this would be but again have had no response. To say service has been poor would be an understatement, GBC has been better than Fort-TGB but I have had to do all the chasing to get anywhere and I am still in the dark as to whether this shed will ever arrive. I realise we are in a lockdown, other businesses are still communicating with their customers and giving estimated delivery dates. I would never buy from Fort again and am unsure if I ever would buy from GBC again at this time. They seem quite happy to sit on my despot indefinitely with no timeline for delivery. Appalling.

Well its the 1st of March and 7 months since I ordered my shed. No response from Fort-TGB on when it will be delivered/installed. I am starting to think they are just keeping my £400+ deposit and never sending me anything.
Update 3/3/21-No contact so I called GBC, who managed to get in touch with Fort-TGB, who said they were still waiting on the part but had no idea when the shed would be delivered!
Today 3/3/21 TGB emailed to say they had been in touch with the manufacturer to try and find out when the missing part will be delivered, they had no date yet but said they were getting back in touch with the manufacturer today/tomorrow, should be able to update me then and have the shed to me ‘soon’…its been such a frustrating experience, the service and communication so poor who knows what ‘soon’ means.

Another issue! Shoddy craftsmanship
Another issue! After being fobbed off with the last problem. Tacks too short and buy extra felt. The roof now bows upwards because it is not nailed down properly.

Company are a disgrace
Company are a disgrace. Ordered one their sheds through shedstore. Awful installation, window opening wrong size, no windows delivered, door panel not straight. Emailed owners Sarah and Graham Vernon after 6 weeks of backwards and forwards with customer services and 3 no shows for remedial works. They ignored me - says ot all! Stay well clear
