Great experience with the Asian Cookshop on my first order with them. I ordered after close of business on the 2nd, and the parcel arrived on the morning of the 6th ! All long dated products (except for the very obviously fresh item), and very well packed. The delivery charge for their economy rate parcels is very reasonable. I will definitely be returning !

Just got my 1st order from this company. Was not disappointed :D
- everything's been delivered (to Spain) pretty fast, within just a week.
- All items look good (vanilla pods, coconut oil, bay leaf, star anise, etc.) & the minimum expiration date is at least untill 2017 - 2018, on all products.
- A list with all ordered items was also provided, as it should be.

From this experience, it seems to be a serious company.
I can only recommend it and I believe l'll be ordering more soon!

I have shopped with The Asian Bookshop for a while now - the products I have received have been outstanding in quality and am very happy to recommend to others. Prices are excellent too, with great communication and fast delivery. Very happy and much, much cheaper than shopping locally (and usually disappointed as not all the ingredients are kept in stock). All in all, easy shopping AND excellent quality.

Ordering was easy.
Paying was easy.
Delivery was quick and I received emails on progress of the order
All items arrived well packaged and in good order

My first order never got delivered and ... finally they did resend the order and all went well this time. Not the most responsive but after all everything OK.

I live in rural France, and finding some ingredients has in the past meant searches on amazon.fr, sometimes with mixed results. Last week I found The Asian Cookshop, where I was astounded at the selection. Not only did I fill my Indian shopping list, but I also was able to get some canned pinto beans, which, for a transplanted American who loves Mexican food, was fantastic. Not only does it mean making my own refried beans from scratch, but also delicious, home-made chili.

I have to commend the quality of service and products on offer at the Asian Cookshop. They take extra care in packing that I have not seen before so my order with 90% glass arrived intact. I had some questions before buying regarding the chutneys and they were most helpful. They also answered back in some detail regards preparing one of the items received after delivery. This kind of service is actually quite rare, from experiences elsewhere I am usually left to work it out myself after delivery.

This exemplary service and quality of products, along with value for money would possibly explain how they have been serving foodies like me since 2004!

First class and highly recommended, now my go to place for any hard to find ingredients and general grocery.

I ordered a Thai milk tea mix from The Asian Cookshop and received it within 3 days. I was slightly worried as I had not read previous negative reviews on this company on Trustpilot before placing my order, but after emailing them to cancel, they responded that my item had already been shipped, and I received the item the following day. Would be happy to buy from them again.

The Limousin in France is a barren area for Indian food. To find a supplier online with a good range of products and a very fair delivery cost to France was ideal.
Our order of 47 items was delivered without error, all in good condition and arrived with us in France 5 days later. A delivery charge of £7.35 for around 15 kilos of goods is excellent.
The "U Cook" curry kits are the nearest to the real restaurant thing that I have found and so simple. And now I can buy one of the best Bombay Mixes on the market to feed my addiction. (no chance in France!)

I've used theasiancookshop numerous times over the last several years, I've never had any issues with their products and I find it excellent value for money compared to other retailers. Free delivery over £30 and is very fast

I've started emailing shops and retailers after ordering goods to let them know if I'd shop there again or if they need to improve on a particular element. One thing I find annoying with larger retailers is the fact that there is no direct email address or phone number.

I ordered my goods late Tuesday afternoon and it arrived 8am this morning (Thursday), I messaged them upon coming home to thank them

I placed an order Sunday 11th of December and it arrived Tuesday the 13th, as usual superb service, robust packaging. I've had no issues with the products they sell.
I ordered other items this time to try, their Garlic and Ginger paste was used yesterday, superb taste.

The Asian Cook Shop provided me with a great all round service and best value I have come across on line. Ordering was very easy and I found them very competitive. I always compare prices before committing, website to website and they were best value by far.

I ordered a mix of chutneys, spices and cookware to a value of just over £60 and was unsure on trying to decide between a couple of items. My questions were dealt with quickly and fully, with very helpful advise aiding my selection dilemma.

Delivery arrived next day and very well packed. But one of the chutneys was broken! Thankfully the after sales team were quick in resolving the matter satisfactorily and without fuss.

All in all very happy and will use again soon.

I was really pleased to find this shop on-line and placed an order, I then wanted to add a couple of items before it was shipped to get the cheaper postage (big mistake) and asked for a confirmation before the order was completed, but couldn't raise a response in spite of numerous and increasingly anxious emails.

The telephone number on the website takes you through a menu that does not give you the option of speaking to anyone. The quality of customer care is nothing short of dire. A dozen emails and even supplied my telephone number, but absolutely no response...none, zero, zip. Finally, out of total desperation, I tried to cancel the order and surprise, surprise, no response, but I get a delivery notice from the courier.

My only consolation is that I didn't spend more money with them. Never ever again...

Perfect service, really quick delivery. Only website who was able to deliver stainless steel rice spoons the next working day. Highly recommended!

Ordered items at the start of August which apparently were delivered somewhere on the 8th August. Just a shame they weren't delivered to my house and ten days later they haven't replaced the items or refunded me. Customer service are a complete joke and do not contact you. Will never use this company again.

An Excellent site for Asian Groceries. My order came next day, extremely well packed with nothing missing. This is the first of many orders I am sure [Although there's enough here to last me 6 months at least!] - I must add everything came with at least October 2016 BBE dates, so no short expiry dates in my experience.

Thank you for the great care and attention taken to ensure goods came well packed to avoid breakage and dents. The taping-up of the larger bags to reinforce them was a nice touch not seen else where. It shows a company really cares about their service when they go to such great lengths. I have bought from another Indian shop and had problems with these larger lentils splitting, so this added care is very welcome.

Another point worth mentioning is they are very well priced, not only the items for sale but delivery. I took advantage of Free delivery over £30 which was really easy to get to and I found other online shops only offering Free delivery at £40 or £50.

AsianCookShop buy damaged & late date goods cheap, Then sell to the public at full price,
Their customer service approach is first to try & fob you off, and then, once you've contacted their suppliers & confirmed the above, they will add insult to injury and ignore you.
If you want fresh produce & tins without dents, shop elsewhere.

Thank You the Asian Cook Shop for rebuilding my faith in Online Shopping. Without naming names, I have had some very bad experiences from other online shops specialising in Indian/Chinese/Thai Foods and thankfully you have saved me a 4 hour drive to our nearest Asian Market.
Goods are very competitively priced with exceptional value when ordering over £30. Everything was received ontime and well packed on both orders placed so far [with many more to come!]. No damages and no items past their sell by date [was a big problem elsewhere!]
Emailed updates all the way to delivery which were very helpful and also a big thank you for the help and advise you gave afterwards regarding the sticky rice.
I will continue to recommend you to everyone I know.

Having had one excellent order I put in a second. There were many tins of items not available locally. All but two of the tins were so badly dented because of bad packaging that they were unusable. Soap had been put next to gram flour and tainted it. When I complained I was told the packaging department would be told but I was not offered any refund or replacements.

Very poor and very expensive for me!
