I give you 5 stars for your meat but your website and app are very frustrating to say the least. No order I place is straightforward. I lose orders placed and have to start again. I have to keep go... See more

Do not bother with The Butcher of…
Do not bother with The Butcher of Brogdale Park farm road Folkestone. We went for our first and last visit on Mon 23 June and was absolutely disgusted. The guy in the front serving customers was a rude, arrogant, and unfriendly individual and we shall not be returning any time soon. We literally stood there waiting to be served while he never once even acknowledged us but simply kept looking at us as if we were invading his space, we finally had to call him over where he dropped what he was doing in a strop, walked over and scoffed "what can i do for you", we simply asked if he could cut 2 steaks for us to which he then scoffed once again "i`m not doing anything else to it", as he grabbed it and walked off into the back. We were shocked and could not actually believe what had just taken place, i never asked him to cook it for me but simply to cut it, i think we shall stick to Bookers who are always happy to help and actually seem to enjoy their work, what an absolute loser he is.
Rancid steak and appalling service at ashford brogdale butchers
I've shopped at the brogdale butchers in ashford a few times. First time we were overcharged. Didnt notice until when I got home and added it all up. (We bought just over £100 across a number of items so didn't notice with so many items until later) I rang and they did rectify the issue but living on the outskirts of faversham it did mean another drive. 2nd time bought a whole ribeye which was appalling quality nearly all gristle and when I spoke to them they did admit there was an issue and had changed suppliers but nothing more done to rectify.
And finally today went to buy some rump steak. Upon looking at the packs that was available I was not impressed to say the least. The steak was clearly old had gone brown/grey. I went to the counter and told them about the issue and asked if they had any they could cut for me. The butcher was pretty short with me and told me it looks like that when it's been cut! I've worked in butchery for over 10 years have a diploma in knife skills and been to a beef abattoir I'm no idiot and couldn't believe my ears. You don't have to be an expert to know that beef was near rancid and explained the slimy "pepper glazed" steak where they were clearly trying "Polish a turd"
What's the point in having a butchery counter where they refuse to cut to the customers needs with a take it or leave it cruddy attitude. Will absolutely not be parting with a single penny there anymore which is a shame as have had some good stuff from brogdale butchers. But has seriously gone down hill in quality and service. Avoid at all costs.

Very disappointed
Went to the outlet at Dobbies Gillingham for the first time last week. Won't be going again. Lamb chops and rump steak so tough they were uneatable.

I normally give 5 stars for this company, I have given 5 stars this time although quite dissatisfied with the lamb chops and steak ordered, did not seem to be up to the usual standard, the pork orders were outstanding as normal.
Excellent quality and full of flavours
Absolutely gorgeous and excellent quality meat Great flavours and value for money
I’m hooked now and will be back for more
Wow Amazing Lamb
Easy to order prompt delivery & after long slow roast marinated in garlic, green pesto & rosemary the two legs of lamb were gorgeous the meat fell of the bone & was thoroughly enjoyed by my friends & family in our garden.
No competition.
B of B is reliable and meat is always quality. Loath to buy supermarket meat unless I'm forced too....
good delivery, meat no so
good delivery info and service, but the steak was not up to normal standard this week, fillet was very sinuee and the ribeye were so thinly cut, would of been better just giving 2 instead of 4 and made thicker

OUT OF DATE / WRONG WEIGHT
Firstly brought 4 fillet steaks, made to look nice by wrapping them in clingfilm, once unwrapped all small offcuts squashed together. They had a lable saying 750gr, weighed at home and only 505gr.
BUT EVEN WORSE. At the same time we brought a whole belly of pork yesterday 26th May 2025 which we didn't notice until we got home, we drove 30 minutes to go there, that the expiry date was 21-5-2025 that cost over£41 .... we will never go there again. APPALLING
Ultra tough inedible steak
Ultra tough inedible steak . Upon stating the problem a day or more subsequent butcher rather blames the packers (sic) than providing some form of solution . Sad as this was my preferred place . Sad as it happened now twice. Guess after the selling of the property loyal clients are worth less.AVOID unless you want to train your jaws

feeding me week in week out with their quality ribye steaks, providing me one whole lamb every month and more. They go above and beyond to meet all the meat needs one may have and at a great price.
Very thankful to Mark and Callum who has taken time to not only select the meat to my needs, but also cut and prepare for me too.
Highly reccomend.
