Very poor attitude
I have just spoken to the manager of Flower Yard who was extremely rude.
I ordered flowers to be delivered the same day as advertised. This did not happen. The delivered charge was the first charge shown so I ticked it.
Apparently- I was told that I couldn’t read as I had not scrolled down to see various delivery charges.
As I had put the date in that I ordered them on I thought that was the correct charge.
The manager’s attitude was so rude.
What a very bad representation of a supposedly good company.
Do not order from this company
Do not order from this company. I ordered the bouquet which was supposed to look like the image on their website and the person received completely different flowers that looked so cheap ! Scammers

My daughter sent me flowers for my birthday
(3/2). They were absolutely magnificent. I still have 4 beautiful roses in a vase 18 days later. Thank you The Flower Yard
Very poor
Very poor. I placed and order, and stressed with work, I accidentally put my own address for delivery rather than the intended recipient. I immediately realised my mistake. I called the number on the website straight away and explained the situation. I was told to send an email to the address on the website and the delivery address was corrected. It was not. The flowers were delivered to me.
Also I paid extra for same day delivery. Not only were the flowers delivered to me, they were delivered a day late.
I emailed to express my frustration with the situation. I have received no reply or acknowledgement. I understand it was my initial error, but I immediately took steps to rectify the situation and followed advice given.
I will never use this service again.
Unsatisfied customer
Received the flowers thinking wow these are expensive ordered from USA online flower with vase and chocolates. They delivered and chocolates were not even there.
The disappointment was that at flowers looked great on photo and when my mum Received them they were half above to die and funny thing is that they didn't last for more then 3 days .
Please think about ordering from this company as I really would not recommend it.
Specially when you pay that sort of price and delivery too.
No apology
Wow, if I just read the previous reviews, I would have saved myself some grief. I placed an order for flowers for friend who just lost her father. Something to cheer her up with. Order was placed at 3:30pm yesterday and as I understood it from their website, if delivery is placed prior 4pm, delivery will be the same day. I was able to choose the delivery date on their website (same day) and placed the order. I heard nothing from my friend yesterday and today hence I emailed The Flower Yard this morning querying about delivery status. They promptly responded:
"These were ordered too late to make the delivery today as our courier had already collected. We will deliver these tomorrow at the earliest. Please advise whether this is ok?".
So, I placed order yesterday at 3:30pm for delivery yesterday and they say the earliest they can do is tomorrow?!? I obviously questioned it again just to be told cut off at 4pm is for delivery only within London. I checked the website, and it is indeed states it on the top, which I did not notice, but then why was I able to choose the same day delivery on their website for out of London address? That also doesn't explain why they are unable to deliver it today. This time I called them just to be told by Ben that courier collected bouquets for today’s delivery early since it is summer and it is quiet, meaning even placing my order within cut off time, it can't be delivered today. I mean..WHAT??? I was offered refund but if I didn’t get in touch with them this morning, I would be under impression my order was delivered yesterday. They did not bother to let me know they will not honour what they state on their website and deliver today. Sometimes it is not about money but about being descent to your customers and not as blunt as Ben was. I don't think I would write this review if he apologised for not being able to deliver today. I indeed received a refund but if I got an apology, I wouldn't be left with such a sour taste in my mouth. People are sending flowers for all different reasons which are usually connected to emotions, whether it’s sadness, love or happiness. I would expect florist to understand the disappointment caused when flowers are not delivered as expected. And on top of that if it is due to their fault, I would expect an apology. Apart from obvious refund, that’s the least they could do.
Terrible service
Terrible service, accepted the order and £10 same delivery fee, couldn't order in time but didn't bother to let me know, had to call to find out what was going on. They just told me they were cancelling the order and hung up. Beautiful website, ugly attitude.
False advertisement
Agree with others here - same day advertised but not delivered. Still waiting for the delivery and it’s now 24h since I placed the order.
Mis-advertised same day delivery
The website advertises same day delivery if ordered by 4pm, but selecting this option in the delivery section isn’t honoured when the final order page is reached and a same/next day summary is given. Mis-selling of the shabbiest kind. Avoid.
Unacceptable service
Absolutely appalling service. I ordered some flowers for a very poorly friend. I specifically ordered a bouquet that was listed on the website as the exact same flowers as in the picture. What was delivered and what was ordered were completely different. when I rang to complain the owner simply made excuse after excuse about why the flowers weren't what was stated on their website. He was rude and honestly I have never had any customer service this bad. I got a £20 refund on an order I paid over £75 for that was wrong and looked cheap! Stay away is my advice to anyone thinking of using this company.
Absolutely shocking
Absolutely shocking! Ordered a paid for flowers for a friends celebration. They never arrived! No one answers the phone and you can’t track your order! Avoid
Poor service and dying flowers
The flowers were supposed to have a sachet of plant food with them, but didn't. We contacted the Flower Yard immediately to ask what to do about this, but a week later they still haven't replied. The flowers lasted just over a day before starting to die. Avoid.
EPIC FAIL
The unfortunate thing about sending flowers for specific important occasions is that if they don't arrive on time no amount of "I'm sorry we made a mistake" fixes the issue because the sending of flowers ON TIME is what makes them special. The company completely dropped the ball, and yes they apologized they have offered refund and discount on a future order (yes please to refund but no chance I'm using them again so the discount isn't much use) but mile stone birthday flowers that arrive 3 days late don't exactly have the same impact as if they arrived when they were scheduled to and having paid every possible extra cost to ensure delivery on time and strictly following their guidelines for when orders need to be placed in order for specific delivery times..... Made worse by the fact that the only reason they hadn't even noticed that my rather $$$ order on the tracking app had not shown delivery by the time it was GUARANTEED..... And I had to track them down to find out what happened. I get that mistakes happen but I literally can't think of anyone who sends flowers to anyone ever when it isn't a special or meaningful occasion so reliability of delivery is literally half the job and they utterly failed..... there arrangements look beautiful but proceed with caution if you want your flowers to actually arrive on time.....
If I could give zero stars I would
If I could give zero stars I would. I’m so angry, £100 spent and my order hasn’t been delivered. I wanted to try to support smaller companies rather than interflora but never again. Warning, do not use this company!
Bad service - missed delivery
Ordered the flowers at 840am - paid extra for same day London delivery. Got a notification that the flowers were shipped at 1203pm.
Flowers had still not arrived when last checked at past 9pm when the intended recipient was long gone from the office anyway. Phoned and emailed over and over and got no response. Eventually received an apology and refund the next day, by which time the sentiment and moment had been completely missed....
THE PICTURE DOES NOT MATCH THE SIZE OR…
THE PICTURE DOES NOT MATCH THE SIZE OR FLOWERS IN THE BOUQUET - WASTE OF MONEY.
this company was a complete disappointment. I spent £85.50 on a bouquet of flowers that seemed, by the pictures on their website, a big bouquet of roses and tulips. What was received was a small bouquet containing way less roses than pictured and a few calla heads. When I wrote back to them showing them both pictures (the ordered and the received) and requesting a refund, they wrote back stating that they would not give a refund as they had produced a lovely bouquet and many other excuses that were supposedly in their T&C's.
I'm sorry but if a bouquet is going to drastically change you contact the customer and you give them context in advance so at least they have the choice to either change or keep the bouquet. You don't write a long email full of excuses once the bouquet has already been ordered. It felt like a total scam.
Would not recommend using this company ever.
Didn't fulfil order... twice!
Very disappointing. Ordered flowers. Received confirmation. Travelled. Checked email two days later - actually my delivery address was too far from them (though in London); would I like a delivery on a different day? I replied I thought it was rubbish but I still wanted them delivered. They said they are not rubbish so have canceled my order. Bizarre and very disappointing.
Rip off. Terrible
Spent £88.50 on what was described as a “deluxe” bouquet for a birthday gift. Could not actually believe it when I saw the photo; I would not have paid £20 for the size of the arrangement which was tiny! I tried to call the shop severa times but no answer and repeatedly cut off. Would absolutely NEVER use them again. Dreadful
Wish I’d read the previous reviews…
Wish I’d read the previous reviews first. My experience was the same and so many here - despite an order for what should have been a straightforward pink tulips and white hyacinth bouquet (given it’s now Spring with “luxury truffles” what arrived was would pass for a small hedge with 7 or 8 mean little purple tulips - the kind you see at the entrance to the supermarket for less than a fiver. The “luxury truffles” turned out to be those little red Lindt balls - 5 to be exact. Wasn’t quite what I’d ordered and given I had explicitly stated on the order that I wanted tulips and if they didn’t have them in stock, to delay the order until they had them, they simply sent what they felt like sending with the sorriest looking “luxury truffles” in the bag. For a central London florist to keep misrepresenting not once but repeatedly to customers what it will be sending is unacceptable. If you can’t get tulips and hyacinths (given you’re a mile from New Covent Garden, and it’s spring?!) don’t misrep on your website and hide the teeny tiny small print giving you a right to sub. If we wanted pot luck we’d have gone with interflora.
