Time Wasters. I asked if they were interested in some maintenance work on my 6 year old 30 sq m garden room. They asked for photos, I sent them, no response, so I chased, and received an arrogant 'the job is too small for us'.
There are lots of competitors in this space, so avoid these like the plague and use someone with a bit of humility and respect.

Having purchased our new garden studio (installed July 2021), Green Retreats 6.5x3.0m TG01, a year ago we decided not to review it until we had been through each of the seasons. As architects ourselves we are interested in how buildings perform. We have not been disappointed, the electric heating system worked well in the winter and sitting here on the warmest day of the year so far (July 2022) it's hot but there is sufficient insulation and air-flow to keep the interior habitable as a working environment.

The reasons we chose Green Retreats for our new studio, over their competitors, were the range of units on show at their showrooms and the configurator tool on their website. The process worked well once we had settled on our design and we were kept well informed as the project progressed from site survey, to finalising the design and adding the electrics.

The installation process was very quick. We carried out some of our own garden clearance and preparation initially in the location of the studio. Then four long and intensive days of work by two teams and the studio was ready for occupation. When we raised some minor snagging issues there was another team working locally so they were dealt with those expediently and to our satisfaction.

Customer care was very good, we could always get hold of someone on the Green Retreats team to discuss any queries we had throughout the process.

Our experience was good enough for us, as architects, to feel that we could introduce a number of our own clients to Green Retreats products in the past year.

You may ask why we did not design and construct our studio ourselves? We are very sure it would not have been as simple or quick a process had we done so and it would likely have cost us more. When we move house, we may even take it with us!

Planning, communication and build quality was magnificent. However the after service has again been exemplary!
Problem solved with a WhatsApp video call and guidance to it myself.
I am so happy and cannot recommend these guys highly enough!

The product is excellent quality. The room has exceeded my expectations for build quality and finish. It is a brilliant addition to our home.

The experience I have had interacting with the business from the start has been great. The website and the 3D configurator were great tools in looking at options. However, nothing replaced visiting the showroom and getting advice from the consultants. Very helpful, constructive and practical advice was given. Even some tips on how to take cost out of the build.

The construction team were skilled, polite and on time. They did a great job and were always neat & tidy.

Finally, a special mention to Jessica in the Customer Services team who went above and beyond to make the process as smooth as possible. She helped in many ways even on thoughts to improve electrical plan for example. I felt that she went above and beyond in her help & communication.

A fantastic experience from start to finish and a company I would recommend without hesitation.

I bought an office in 2020 and it is awesome - the sales & installation was great and the office is fabulous.

The reason for my low stars review is after care - the handle on my doors broke and today is the fourth time in four weeks i have chased on after care - each time i speak to someone who assures me that they will help and that they will contact me (Hannah, Bev) but i have received no contact back of any kind which is pretty frustrating.

I cannot begin to express how impressed I am with my TGO1 and my entire experience with Green Retreats. From the initial site visit, to our trip to the extensive showroom (with Covid restrictions), to the base and building installation, all staff have been extremely professional, friendly and efficient. The actual building itself is of very high standards and quality. I did a huge amount of research before committing and found Green Retreats to be very competitively priced and their products stood out above other companies. Couldn’t be more happy. This will provided me with a year round, wheelchair accessible gym for me to do my daily Physiotherapy.

Excellent quality, Fast delivery. So far I am very happy taking care of my Bonsai.

We are so happy with our new gym, we went for the 3m tall with planning permission for the extra height & it’s ideal.

Very responsive at each stage of the project. The room looks fantastic. All work was done on time without fuss.

The Good News: the office / gym / yoga studio / spare bedroom is INCREDIBLE. It's beautiful and has completely changed the look and feel of our house. The design is amazing, the lighting is gorgeous at night and all of the fixtures and fittings are spot on.

The quote was more expensive than some of the other options on the market - more akin to the material costs for a small extension - but once it's gone up, our feeling is an overwhelming feeling of value for money, real build quality, and terrific workmanship.

The OK-ish news: It took almost a year to get our lodge installed (getting the equipment and pre-fab panels through our house was complicated and involved striking a lot of deals with our neighbours). My only criticism is that the site survey was a bit quick, and we didn't have a proper access plan before we paid the deposit. But that was sort of our fault. Green Retreats did their best. They were extremely thorough and clear in every other aspect.

None of that is enough to stop me from giving them five stars. They're not the cheapest, but they are the best.

We undertook a comprehensive search both locally and nationally in what is now a busy market and decided upon a Garden Retreats Garden Office after a visit to the showroom in Aylesbury. The build process went smoothly and the build team very efficient and professional. We have been rewarded with an office that does not just meet expectations, it exceeds them. Very pleased.

From start to finish the experience of working with Green Retreats to realise my garden studio has been handled above and beyond my expectations. Every detail has been considered and communicated, timely and professional, from the planning and design, the site survey, the showroom visit. Every detail and technical question, every option fully explored and explained. The base, install, electrical and aircon teams, were efficient and worked to a high standard. I was and am left with no doubt that my new jewellery studio is of the highest quality, it is a light and comfortable space. It sits quietly at the end of the garden under a big tree, and each time I go out to work in it I get a little thrill and lashings of joy. The whole process was well managed and stress free.

V pleased with my office, project management was excellent throughout the process with all the various teams turning up as expected , doing the work needed , helpful , positive , tidy and left a good finished office . We have just had our new garden room installed by Green Retreats and I can thoroughly recommend them. The service from start to finish has been outstanding, the team are professional, friendly and ready to offer advice where needed. They always turned up on time (even when it snowed !) kept us fully updated on progress, always tidy, polite and very grateful for the tea and coffee ! The finished result is of such a high standard, it has exceeded all our expectations. It looks wonderful and the materials used are of a very high specification. We are already using it all the time and are so glad we took the step to have it built. If you are thinking of adding a garden room, Green Retreats are the people to go too!

From Start to finish it has been great working with green retreats. Very happy with the end result and the customer service throughout has been excellent. The build was on time and I could not fault both the builders and electricians putting in everything on site.

Great quality purchase and outstanding service experience. The Garden Office might not be the cheapest option in the market but it is definitely one that was worthwhile going for. The whole buying process was incredibly transparent. From the amazing showroom, the sleek online portal or the utterly professional installation, you feel you are taken care for by knowledgeable and attentive staff. Quality of materials and design are first class. We couldn't be happier with the final result.
Special mention to Ross who went the extra mile to make sure all the snags were dealt with in an incredibly professional way.
