I'm Scottish and was brought up on porridge made with water and served salty. So I was very sceptical about instant flavoured porridge. But its convenient and nutritious so I thought I'd give it a go. It's delicious. Proper porridge and great flavour. Not too sweet. Just right. Now my everyday breakfast.

Love this porridge! Flavours are so tasty and it is SO quick to make. Just add boiled water! Super convenient no matter where you are - home or work. Absolutely would recommend to anyone!

I tried the red berry and pumpkin seed and was not impressed at all. I much prefer rolled oat porridge which has much more flavour and can be made with water if that’s how you like it and is very easy and quick to make. The difference in price to my preferred choice is a no contest. Will not be buying again.

and satisfied in the morning, and so quick and convenient to make. I’m a coeliac so love that these are gluten free. I can’t pick a favourite, they’re all different and great to mix it up! Delivery always prompt and well packaged.

I LOVE this porridge.
The strawberry and peanut and blueberry and banana are my favourite.
The other reviews are absolute nonsense, if you have a watery porridge you've put too much water in - simple.
They taste great compared to all other instant oats I've tried. I work on building sites at times and find these an absolute saviour, they're so quick and easy and they're not full of additives anything artificial or any added sugar like the other instant oats. Perfect for a clean diet.

Oh my lord.. where to begin! There is reason they only really show you the bag in advertising and, when a bowl of the porridge is shown, there is lots of extra ingredients piled on top! That is to cover the fact that this stuff is rancid grey water with bits floating in it, it's basically wallpaper paste.
I wanted free delivery so bought quite a few bags, I now dread breakfast time. This stuff is barely edible and mimics concrete in the way it sticks to the spoon. Work colleagues have exclaimed "What the hell is that??" when I'm trying to choke down what looks like filthy water.. it's beyond disgusting!
So gutted I spent £30 on this stuff, stay away at all costs, it's beyond rank!

Saw on Dragons Den originally. Spotted in Sainsbury’s for £4 and thought it was expensive but, you only live once so thought why not! Plus lovely packaging. Bad idea! I tried the chocolate flavour and it was so bland, watery and tasteless (I followed the whole 100ml of water per 55g serving) but was almost like it was too much water. I like a bowl of porridge but this stuff is nasty. Someone said in a previous comment about it being like wallpaper paste and I would completely agree. Not worth the money one bit and the people writing that it’s good clearly don’t have any taste buds or have lived their lives eating bland crap that they actually believe this stuff is nice. Won’t purchase ever again!

I was swayed to buy some in an facebook advert then came across the brand in Sainsbury, so thought I'd give it a try. Disappointing to say the least, I bought Strawberry and Peanut butter and there is literally no taste, its warm, drab and tasteless except bits of peanuts - thats it. Even a bowl of plain oat porridge has more taste than this, and at a fraction of the cost.
Won't be buying it again...eeeewww!

Appalling customer service from the company itself.

I bought the red berry porridge as a bit of a treat, it’s ridiculously expensive so I had high hopes that the taste would justify the premium price. It was ok, edible, but nothing special and certainly not worth what they are charging for it 🙁

Let me start by saying I eat porridge every day, 365 days a year for breakfast. I have tried them all. So when I saw GBPC on Dragons Den, I had to give them a go. I bought a taster pack of all of them except the caffe latte, and I was intrigued by the all natural ingredients as most instant brands include sugar and additives, so I normally make my own. However, the CHOCOLATE flavour is UNBELIEVABLE. I dream of it, and have since had it every single working day as it is so easy and always delicious when short on time. However, I find most of the other flavours pretty disgusting. Strawberry and peanut butter isn’t worth it at all, blueberry and banana is ok and I still buy a few packs to change it up. Red berry and seeds is pretty good, but could be better. Looking at the reviews this is true for most people so I would 100% try the chocolate.

Having said that, my order took 2 weeks last time with absolutely no communication, which is pretty rubbish when you pay for 48hr delivery.

Purchased the Blueberry & banana. I love porridge, but this is utterly vile. Strange consistency, very cloying, not at all like porridge should be. Flavourless. Strange underlying, slightly chemical taste which left a taste in your mouth. Couldn't get beyond 3 spoonfuls. It is also awfully expensive given how dreadful it is. Never again. Wouldn't risk trying other flavours.

Poor customer service is an understatement. This will definitely make me think twice about purchasing again even if I like the products if/when they arrive.

Delish! Quick and easy, all of the health benifits but none of the fuss! Perfect start to a busy day.

Firstly, great product, the ingredients are delicious and whilst not the cheapest, the taste, quality and ease of preparation make this outstanding value in my eyes.

Secondly, great customer service, recently contacted the company and the response was quick, polite and really positive, thanks Jacqueline.

Saw the pitch on Dragons Den and thought “If they all like it, it must be good!” Ordered the starter pack and, apart from the Caffe Latte, I absolutely loved them! Gave a pack to my daughter-in-law as she works for the NHS and doesn’t have much to eat some days. She loves them now and has ordered her own (phew!). Daughter had the chocolate, and loved it! Have ordered more for myself! Used the Caffe Latte in an amended flapjack recipe and it was lovely, will be making more.

Quite by chance, I caught the excellent pitch on Dragon's Den by The Great British Porridge Company and as a result, was intrigued to discover their products. Started with a small order of the coffee and chocolate versions. Absolutely LOVE the Caffe Latte porridge!! So, ordered more plus the Chocolate, Strawberry and Red Berry varieties and can't wait to try them. There was a small hiccup with my second order, but Jacqueline quickly and efficiently rectified it through exchanges of friendly emails. The GBPC has transformed my usual everyday, boring plain porridge breakfasts into something to look forward to and enjoy starting the day with!! Very tasty and quick to prepare. Thanks for a great product and good luck for the future!!

I ❤️ This porridge! I love that it can made with boiling water in a bowl and it’s ready in 1 minute, saves on washing up and also saves time! As a vegan who doesn’t like milk alternatives I was a bit dubious about how this would taste with just water but it’s so creamy and delicious, I’m glad I bought the taster pack of 10 bags straight after seeing the pitch on Dragons Den. Definitely worth the money and I can’t wait to try all the flavours.
All natural ingredients means it’s doing good whilst filling you up, love that it’s sugar free too and gluten free. Highly recommend this porridge to anyone :)
