I love my porridge and most of the time I eat mine cold or make overnight oats. After discovering their website I ordered a few packs to try. Goods arrived well packaged, easy to make, quality... See more

Purchased the Blueberry & banana. I love porridge, but this is utterly vile. Strange consistency, very cloying, not at all like porridge should be. Flavourless. Strange underlying, slightly chemic... See more
Omg people are so dramatic in these reviews. If it's too thick ("wallpaper paste consistency") then just add more hot water you wally!! It tastes fine, I like the range of flavours and appreciate the... See more

My go to breakfast/snack.
Eating a good breakfast has always been a non-negotiable for me, however, there's no doubt that on some mornings, lack of time is an issue. That's why I was delighted to have discovered The Great British Porridge Co's incredible porridge back in 2018. It's a perfect, healthy, filling AND delicious breakfast option for those inevitable mornings when I'm in a rush. I also keep a packet at the office as a handy emergency snack option. I have no doubt that I will continue to be a regular, loyal customer and I couldn't recommend it highly enough!
Great tasting quick to make what a brilliant product! Can't recommend highly enough.
Cannot recommend this porridge enough, for those in a rush it is great, can take it to the office with you and all you need is hot water to make something healthy and filling. I took a pack travelling with me last year also, just because its so convenient and tastes great, favourite flavour is probably Blueberry & Banana. Completely reinvented porridge, tastes creamy without milk, which is rare and no more pan cleaning. 10/10
The most delicious..
The most delicious, nutritious and simplistic porridge EVER. I can not fault this brand .. or the owners... simply amazing !

By far and away the worst breakfast…
By far and away the worst breakfast cereal I've ever tasted.(this includes the porridge I 'made' age 7 by including marmite to make it look darker).
I was seduced by the great packaging. 'We're proud of our 100% natural etc. etc.
I can't describe the taste, other then awful. I gave the rest to my chickens whom pecked at at and left the rest. They tried
Simply awful. I'll never buy their stuff ever again. Complete rubbish. Don't ever buy it
One of my worst taste experiences ever🤮
As previous reviewer said, and yes I've copied his comments word for word, I have also enjoyed extra ordinary Quaker porridge oats for years and after dragons den and purchasing at Sainsbury’s I was really looking forward to trying them. What a let down after following the mixing info on the packet I found the taste terrible.
I added strawberries, banana, and more blueberries after the first few spoonfuls, but was just wasting good fresh fruit, as I also binned it
It felt like putting thickened wallpaper paste, that had had a cup full of wood shavings and wood chips mixid in, into my mouth. Blah!
Dreadful!
My wife suggested giving it to the birds, but I said I wouldn't inflict it on our faithful frequent visitors.
The Dragons must have taken some sort of hallucinogen shortly before trying it, I'm sure!
thought I would give it a try as it was…
thought I would give it a try as it was on special at Sainsburys I think £4 is a bit too expensive for only 7 servings. I tried the Peanut butter and strawberries. When I tasted it the dominate flavor was date (used to sweeten it) with a bit of strawberry coming through. The peanuts were more there in texture rather than taste. I don't think you should call something peanut butter when you are just adding peanuts ground up. So for me the flavour balance wasn't right. Won't be buying again.
Not for me

following the mixing info on the packet I found the taste terrible and as I had plenty left I mixed with milk rather than water. Sorry to say but I poured them all away. The type I had was the peanut butter variety,I am going to pass the rest to my daughter and see how her family enjoy them. Perhaps it is an acquired taste.
