Wish I’d found Home and Office first.
I had previously ordered from another company who advertised next day delivery and then let me right down. No customer service by the said company. I cancelled it and ordered from Home and Office after a week of waiting. Which was actually £30 cheaper than my original order.
They called me the next morning to confirm delivery, and the bed arrived next day. Great customer service. And the bed is spot on and excellent quality.

First Class Service
I bought a Black Metal Bed Frame from The Home and Office Stores company, and am delighted to support a family run business. The bed frame looks super chic. I can 100% recommend this company. The prices are very competitive, delivery was super quick and their customer service is second to none. Rachel took the time to call me to advise of the delivery date - we don't get this kind of personal service from bigger stores. I wish their business continued success, and I will definitely buy from them again.

Excellent service
Really impressed with this very helpful family business. I spoke to James before placing my order and after an informative conversation I found the perfect high sleeper bed combination for my teenage daughter. I decided to also purchase the home assembly service and it was well worth it, The 2 guys were polite and professional and completed everything in about an hour and half. Delivery was faster than quoted which made my impatient daughter very happy. Thanks again for all your advice and great service, will definitely shop here again.

Very happy with price and service
Ordered a mattress from this company as this was the best price I could find for the one I wanted. Free next working day delivery which was great, placed the order at around 11am yesterday and the mattress arrived just before 10am today. Great service, would use again.

AVOID AVOID if you want to keep your hard earned money.
Firstly bought an ottoman bed which I was skeptical about lasting (heavy bed frame with 2 flimsy wooden slats to keep it square and hold the ottoman base) with 2 plastic legs
These flimsy slats broke in a matter of months and was blamed for moving the bed (5ft 1 and could barely lift the ottoman) plus I had no reason even if i could (nowhere else to move it to and i can clean underneath) so weren't want to take responsibility. Then offered "good will gesture" of replacement slats. Yup again a couple of months guess what? broke again
Was told prior to put rubber mats underneath which I did. Then i was told it wasn't the correct ones (even though was never told a particular make/kind nor did they offer me to purchase & it was staged apparently . How very unprofessional. Where they looking through my window watching my every move?
So im Assuming this company has contacted the manufacturer as its been 5 weeks and I heard nothing.
Offered me parts at my cost absolutely NOT!!! what for them to break AGAIN??
I have contacted the trading standards as this £400+ bed has not even lasted 1 1/2 yrs clearly not fit for
Whatever you do don't even bother buying from this company as you get accused for accidently breaking something TWICE!

Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review for your past purchase on the 3rd of July 2020 and we are truly very sorry you are not happy with the findings of the damage being accidental damage and not a product fault. Unfortunately as was explained in great details to you when the first instance of accidental damage occurred and reported to us on 8th April 2021 beds can and will move on slippery laminated floors and heavy furniture can also damage laminated floors so suitable proper none slip furniture pads should be used to both protect the floor and the bed from further movement damage.
Ourselves and the manufacturer kindly split the costing of the replacement parts of 2 wooden slats and 2 storage base support legs providing them to you as a gesture of good will so the first instance of accidental damage could be fixed.
Upon reporting the same damage reoccurring and providing photos to us on the 13th March 2022 they clearly show that you have not used proper none slip heavy furniture pads but instead an approximate 1mm thin perforated foam material normally used in light weight applications such as to line cutlery drawers or stop things from sliding on worktops and table tops of which would both not protect the laminated floor or bed from movement damage.
As you had already kindly received good will gesture parts and advised in good detail how to prevent the same damage reoccurring on this occasion the replacement parts are chargeable of which they have been kindly offered to you at cost price so the accidental damage can be resolved at the lowest possible cost to you and no financial benefit to us.
Unfortunately your requested resolution of finding the bed faulty and not fit for purpose and a full refund provided is not a reasonable solution to resolve accidental damage. This bed was first offered to our customers back in June 2017, we as a family also own one of these bed frames in double exactly the same as yours and to date we nor any of our other customers have had any issues at all with this bed frame. This product as with all our products fully compiles with all EU and UK manufacturing and safety regulations and it does not have any history of issues to support your request and opinion.
If you would like to proceed with ordering the 2 replacement slats and 2 storage base support legs of which will be supplied directly from the manufacturer and we will arrange for you please let us know and we will be more than happy to assist you further in this matter. Customer service excellence!
I don't often write reviews, but wanted to share my positive experience with Home and Office Stores. We purchased a triple bunk bed but unfortunately some of the parts were damaged. I spoke with James who sorted arranged for the damaged parts to be collected and replaced within a few days. Their customer service is second-to-none...when you call they answer the phone and are polite and always helpful, which often is not the case these days with online retailers. I would highly recommend this company to anyone.

I would give Home and Office Stores ten stars if that was possible. We had been let down by another retailer with the purchase of some furniture for our son's imminent Birthday. We found Home and Office Stores on the web and spoke to them to confirm stock availability. Having placed the order, the furniture was then delivered the very next day. There was a slight hiccup with the delivery firm and, whilst this was nothing to do with Home and Office Stores, they very helpfully assisted in getting things resolved so we had the furniture in time. I would like to personally thank Rachel (and James) for their assistance. Service above and beyond that which you normally experience these days and an absolute pleasure to deal with.
I cannot recommend Home and Office Stores highly enough and would have no hesitation in placing further orders with them.

Very good customer service
I would like to say a special word for Rachel who was very helpful in talking to me about the process for ordering a garden dining set. She was very honest about the situation with stock and didn't make promises that she potentially couldn't keep.
We eventually made an order but then later decided to cancel and Rachel processed this without any questions and the refund came through instantly.
Whilst this experience didn't end up with me giving the company any business I will certainly keep them in mind for future purchases for our home.

I have to say how refreshing I found it…
I have to say how refreshing I found it dealing with this company! I called up last week to get some clarification on stock and unfortunately what I wanted wasn’t in stock. James talked me through alternative options and how stock normally comes in, he couldn’t have been more helpful. I succumbed to ordering my bed frame in grey rather than white. The following day I received a call, asking if I had order then grey instead of white (they recognised my order) and said that the stock had come in and the managed to allocate a white for me if I wanted it. I couldn’t be happier! Such a personal touch, shopping has hugely been impacted by covid and has affected lots of businesses. This personal touch and thoughtfulness really made my week. Keep up the great work and service, the bed is up already and just how I imagined it!

Dreadful. Twice tried to order a bed on their webiste which stated it’s in stock. They take the money and then tell you it’s not in stock and they don’t know when it will ship. They then had the gall to argue with me as to its availability. Cardinal sin. Never argue with the customer.
despite their reply I stand by this comment. When I went on their website the second time it said it was IN stock. I’m not as stupid as they seem to suggest. One would have thought I phone call after I placed the order a second time would have been more professional.
Just preserved from another firm who called me back immediately to say the bed would be a day late and if I was ok with that. That is what I call customer service.

Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review for a product you ordered twice from us whilst it is out of stock with all retailers and not due back into stock until approximatally the end of January. This information is provided to us from the manufacturer and is advised on the product page stock advisory pre order information.
Your first order was placed with us on Sunday 29th November at 12:56pm and at 16:52pm the same day we emailed you to apologise and advise that upon processing your order and checking the manufacturers stock feed we became aware the product was unfortunately out of stock and you then decided to keep the order as a pre order for a few weeks and then cancelled the order as you did not want to wait any longer and we cancelled the order for you the same day it was requested.
You then decided to place a second order with us on Saturday 9th January for the same product knowing they had been out of stock from your first order and without checking the stock advisory information on the product page which we made you aware of during your first order or contacting us to check if it was back in stock.
As with any pre order we receive we emailed you the same day you placed the 2nd order for the same product to advise that they where still out of stock believing you had simply chosen to replace the pre order for the product but from your many responses and insisting to us it was in stock you where unhappy to be told that it was not yet back in stock as per the information on the product page stock advisory.
Again you wanted to know exactly when they would be arriving which is impossible to advise with all the shipping and dockyard issues around the world currently and we could only advise you with the same approximate arrival information of late January which is the information the manufacturer had provided to us. As with after your first order we advised you the stock advisory on the product page could be monitored for any new updates we receive from the manufacturer and we would be in contact with you next once they physically arrive back in stock if you wanted to continue with the pre order.
You then decided to continue with the pre order for a 2nd time but then started emailing us for multiple updates over the course of the following few days of which we replied to all your correspondences the same day and advised no further exact arrival date information was available. You then emailed us a final time on the 16th January less than a week from when you placed the 2nd order giving us 2 options of either providing you with an exact arrival date if not you wanted to cancel the pre order, as we had explained multiple times previously we could not provide you with an exact arrival date so as you requested we cancelled your order less than 35 minutes after receiving your email.
We are truly sorry during these very difficult times unprecedented numbers of products are out of stock, there are many reasons for stock shortages currently and unfortunately all of them are outside of our control. We truly hope you manage to find an alternative product and at this time we would advise contacting any retailer before ordering anything to check the availability and that the delivery lead time fits your requirements.
