Great company.

Spoke with Oliver at length in prep for applying for our mortgage, from the very beginning he gave clear and unbiased knowledge and opinions that really helped in getting us to where we needed to be. Much appreciated, can't speak highly enough about Oliver and the team.

I cannot say enough about the help I have received from the guys at the mortgage hut over the last few months.

The team went above and beyond for me throughout my mortgage application process, and all the way through to completion last week. At every step of the process they were on top of every action, chasing relentlessly on my behalf when needed and keeping me regularly informed so I was up to date.

A special mention to Andy and Giacomo who have been an absolute pleasure to speak to, I can’t recommend them enough. Thank you.

It was my first conversation with the Mortgage Hut, and I was assigned to Luke. He was supposed to get back to me with initial research, and its been 2 weeks since I am waiting. If that's how this firm does work, I am better off without them.

Just completed a re-mortgage through the Mortgage Hut after a work scheme put us in touch. Helped by Amy and Nichola along with others in the back ground. All went smoothly and was far easier than I thought it would be despite us leaving it late in the day hoping rates would keep dropping through January. Amy and Nichola kept in touch throughout so we knew what stage we were at. Would certainly use again.

I would like to say this company has managed to outshine many that I have dealt with! My adviser was called David To; he was super helpful throughout the entire process, I think he is a credit to the company and his customer service is impeccable. Thank you for marking this already stressful time a lot more enjoyable!

Remortgage. This is the 2nd remortgage through Mortgage Hut. It went really well both times. I believe the key to their success for me was that they kept in contact, giving me updates. They were transparent with their fees, they have good knowledge in their field, and are not trying to overly benefit from the customer. The only minus was that they did try and sell a product that was already refused which was insurance. Thank you Southampton Branch.

We had the pleasure of working with both ELLIOT and ANDY to help us through the mortgage process. And let me tell you. 10 out of 10 would 1000% recommended. They were both incredibly helpful and communicated and updated us with every step. For first time buyers. We couldn’t thank and appreciate more. Thank you both so so much. :)

We are first time buyers and we initially went at it alone direct to the lender, this was after meeting Kieren from The Mortgage Hut first, there was nothing Kieran said for us to do that, it was just because we thought we knew better, big mistake on our part. Our application was declined after a four week wait.

The pressure was on from the estate agent and the vendor.

Tail between our legs, I phoned Kieren on the Thursday. Explained everything to him and our circumstances, he did not judge and was very professional. He told me that he will speak to lenders first thing Friday and get back to me.

True to his words, the next day he phones me and explains that there is 3 lenders we can be put too based on our circumstances. We agree on one, and we submitted the paperwork, I.e. payslips, ect.

The application is submitted the Monday, and the following Monday we get accepted and given an offer on the Tuesday. Blew our mind.

The team at The Mortgage Hut are all professionals, our mortgage advisor Kieren is true to his words and will always phone me promptly at our agreed times, Kieren is true expert and knows his stuff.
Natasha is also great, and kept in contact with us after the application was submitted, keeping us in the loop.

The whole process from start to finish is made simple and smooth.

Cannot recommend the mortgage hut enough. We were first time buyers and had no idea what we were doing. Our advisor Jacky expertly guided us through the whole process and was also happy to answer any questions we had. Jacky helped us find the best rate on the market and got us into our dream first home.

I want to praise Natasha Strath - she is very calm and helpful and very easy to talk to . She is very knowledgeable about lenders and their lending conditions . She was very helpful to me giving me impartial advice . She also answers emails and returns calls promptly . Natasha also has given brilliant advice to someone I know ie that you can appeal against a lender who says they can't lend to you in some situations .

I cannot highly recommend the Mortgage Hut, especially our mortgage broker Oliver and also Dave who is a solicitor, part of the post offer team.
The service provided by both of these gentlemen was exceptional from start to finish.
After placing an offer on a property we had hard time finding a reliable and trustworthy broker. We tried contacting many different advisers but found them incompetent and unreliable. After all the bad experience I came across the Mortgage Hut by chance when I was doing some online research. We wanted to purchase an additional property without selling our first home. All previous mortgage agents told us that it would not be possible . We are glad we did not listen to them and found Oliver who helped us to remortgage the first property and worked tirelessly to secure us a mortgage at a very good rate.
We found him to be very personable, caring and understanding with great sense of humour, always available to talk and happily answering all our questions. He is highly competent and always ready to go over an above to help his clients. The same applies to Dave who took over Oliver after we received the mortgage offer from the lender. He was very kind and professional, always responding promptly to any queries and has kept us regularly updated on the progress of the purchase. I really hope to use them in the future, would never go to someone else!!! Thank you guys, you are amazing!!!

I’m a bit disappointed, I just had a feeling the person who was dealing with my mortgage, wasn’t going to be helpful and my instincts were right.
Originally I spoke with someone else, who I felt was better than the person second time round but it’s just the reminders of the level of debt I had. I know this and really don’t need these advisors repeating themselves. Anyways after all this, I decided not to pursue this company but months later, I decided to try again. It was a waste of my time as the 2nd advisor didn’t go above and beyond, it was very much mundane. The broker was travelling the following week and said someone else will deal with my case but I never heard from either of them! The fact they didn’t bother trying, clearly didn’t want to assist (which I guess contradicts what they advertise)

Trust your gut people, it doesn’t lie. I’m just disappointed

I have had contact with Mortgage Hut on a few occasions looking at mortgages, every agent have been very warm and welcoming.

I was recently looking at mortgage and ended up having a bad experience with the agent, what made me reach out to Mortgage Hut, and was transferred to much nicer and kinder agent. Oliver has been very understanding, has talked me through the process so far, been kind and caring with also a little humour to make a person laugh when you’re feeling stressed.

Thank you Oliver for being such an awesome agent, and Mortgage Hut for always providing a great service to your customers.

The first call with our advisor Oliver was fantastic, in fact, I left a positive comment about it.

Then, the service has not been professional at all, taking approximately 3 months to respond to each of our emails. My response to him was on the same day. Of course,I don't expect that from him but 3 months, seriously? When you want to buy a house this is just crazy!

We never got a mortgage in principle neither information or advice anymore.
One day, I had to sent a quick message to the customer service department asking if Oliver could check my emails as again three months had passed since my last email and I didn't know how to contact him.

We were more than happy to continue with this company paying all the necessary fees but they weren't professional at all. I never expected this and therefore we found a new mortgage advisor that is helping us in a wonderful way even though one of us is self-employed, I'm so impressed!

Please, make sure that your adviser support you as buying a house is not an easy step

We have been delighted by the service provided by Jacky Lambert from The Mortgage Hut. She has worked tirelessly on our behalf to secure us a mortgage. Jacky responds promptly to any queries and is professional and courteous in her manner. We consider her services to be excellent value for money and would, without hesitation, recommend her to others and use again in the future.

I talked to Freddie from the Southampton branch, she was friendly and honest. Nice to see that there are still genuine companies that believe in sales through great customer service. When it is time to remortgage they will be the first people we will call.

I have recently used Mortgage Hut services for our joint mortgage application. From start to finish, Jennie and Tiffany were awesome. I definitely recommend them.

Not sure a review does Giacamo, chris and their team justice. I’ve been using the guys for over 7/8 years. Everyone I know and deal with I send their way. Nothing is too much, always a simple call/text away. Guys your help doesn’t go unnoticed, keep up the good work.
