Carl Edwards was fantastic! lots of information and support
I am someone with additional needs and when the old tutor Neil was there I was supported… after they went into administration, they got new tutors and I received no help and was just given a check list, took 5 weeks for marking to be done, wasting my time… you keep your end of the bargain by paying them, they don’t keep there’s by helping you. I would avoid this company, pay extra and go some other place. Customer service is a joke, if you complain they say sorry to hear about this and do nothing either. I still have not completed the course as I asked for some more useful help and all I get is a checklist, no actual communication with tutors.
Added 26th Feb in reply to TTR said, so if you was there during the reshape you won’t get help but if you sign up now you will… why didn’t you help me even though I’m still a student with you.

Carl was really helpful in answering lots of my questions on whatsapp. I found it useful to be able to ask all my questions before signing up (which I did).
my tutor has been supportive throughout, always being friendly and helpful. I find the
online portal helpful to organize everything and keep track of where I am up to. The
assessments got marked fast so I’ve been able to make good progress so far
Oh just as expect they sent the same old crap reply ,it's nothing more than a copy and past company who don't give a dam about anyone ,even under new management u should avoid at all costs ,they are just trying to cover up the mistakes that have happened and will happen and how they don't care at all that people are now out of pocket thanks to them. Guarantee again will be replied with same dam thing 😂😂
I was pretty scared about starting a course like this but SO glad I did. the overall experience was amazing- I felt fully supported throughout. Everything was super in depth and I feel ready to start my career in Personal Training. Thanks to the whole team!
Recently enrolled on the elite nutrition personal training course. So far very pleased with the quality of the course and the support from their team. The course advisor was super helpful in helping me choose the right course, and the online portal is really easy to use.
For me the flexibility to take my time with the course was important, so I like how I can just log on and study whenever it suits me. And I can also message my tutor through the portal so its nice and easy to use.
This company, all they do is sell stuff. I shelled out more than £2k and got nothing in return.

Most horrendous company I have ever used. My first tutor Liz was lovely, unfortunately she left and the second tutor I had was not so lovely.
I received very little understanding and empathy from the company regarding extremely tough and sad personal circumstances which caused a delay to completing my course and my needing an extension. 4 close family deaths, an accident which almost broke my back and left me unable to move properly and without pain for 3 months and being made redundant (plus additional circumstances I'm not willing to share publicly) all in the space of 12 months got responded to with "yes you can extend one of your courses by 3 months for £500" - More than double the monthly fee I was previously paying. And if I extended my level 3 PT they told me I'd lose my level 4 because they could only apply the extension to one of the levels, not the 2 combined, like what the actual hell, how do you even come up with that logic??
As a company you have no understanding of the word sympathy. Your responses were upsetting, stressful and quite honestly pretty darn heartless. Being told my work was being marked in a timely manner "as a gesture of goodwill" in most emails, but then having it followed up with "work will be marked in the order it is received and a student cannot be prioritised". That's not a gesture of goodwill, that's being a teacher.
I was also sold courses that do not exist, which is actually fraudulent. Their excuse is they have compromised and tried to offer me suitable alternatives - 1. None of the alternatives were suitable, I simply wanted a refund. 2. You shouldn't sell something you don't offer - it's against the law!!
Also, when your students pass exams with really high marks, it's often nice to tell them well done and congratulations.
Avoid at all costs.
Update following company response:
Unsurprisingly instead of responding with an apology or offering to rectify the situation, they instead take the opportunity to wash their hands of any responsibility/accountability and have the audacity to try and promote themselves. FYI if you acquire a company under the existing branding you inherit the issues (i.e. their fraudulent behaviour) as well as their profit margins. New owners, same customer service. Do not use.

Course aspect was perfectly fine, but the help afterwards as described when i took out the course was non existent. That along with the company going into administration which really shocked me as that came out of the blue after i had already spent £2500 odd on my desired course...

I enrolled myself on to the PT course back in 2022 and whilst it was going great, my dad passed away in May 2023 and haven’t heard from anyone since. Not one email to ask how things are or to see where I am in the course. I feel like all the care about is taking the money. Total lack of support from my tutor. I’m sure if I stopped my DD, I’d soon hear from someone.
Please avoid and save your money if you’re looking to do a course here.

Pathetic customer service, marking of my coursework months late every single time, ambiguous contracts with no specifics. This company is an absolute scam. Avoid them at all costs. They've scammed me out of £1000, horrendous experience.

They are simply a scam. I took the software development course, and you will find that all the lectures and archaic and are not even updated. And then it will get to a stage where they will keep asking you to give them good reviews on the trust pilot, so all the positive reviews you see on the trust pilot right now are from them asking people to give them positive reviews, which is not a bad thing for a company to do but considering how horrible their services are for what the money you have to pay for it is simply annoying. I am stuck with them paying almost 100 pounds monthly until God knows when my damn contract ends.

Terrible company. No support on the course what so ever. Level 3 PT is what I was doing.
At first I wanted to cancel within 14 days as the course was terrible. Given a massive document of like 500 pages to read through and that’s all. No support from tutor.
They said I couldn’t get a refund. So I did the whole course. All of the course work. Theory exams. All I had left was 2 practical exams. I have no memory on my phone to record an hour long video and a 45 minute video, (there couldn’t be any breaks in the video either) I asked for help, if there was anything I could do to be able to do the practical exams , I said I will meet you at a centre, FaceTime you while I do the session, the Answer was no. No and no. My course expires in 2 days and I have wasted years of my life and a lot of money to do this course. All because of the theory exams. Which is probably the easiest part. I have been emailing my tutor for help and no response now. I was told I have to pay an extra £500 to extend the course for an extra 3 months. But that doesn’t help the fact it’s impossible to record 1 hour 45 mins worth on content on a phone, plus how the heck are you supposed to send that size video to anyone over email???
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. ABSOLUTE SHAMBLES. Taking advantage of people during lockdown and then not following through with any course support

I just completed my L3 PT Diploma as an e-learning course. It was the perfect option to be able to self-pace my study and coursework as I couldn’t commit to a purely weekday or weekend course, and could do my work when it suited me. The training room provides ample resources for self-study, and a tutor who is always there to help. Hasit Jethwa, my tutor, was excellent at answering any of my questions quickly and was really clear and useful in letting me know what I needed to do! Having Hasit as my tutor really added to my experience of qualifying with The Training Room. Thank you!

On day one I reviewed the course they sent me and told them I would not be doing it as it had been mis-sold and not as described.
It was sold to me as if it was a job bullying tactocs and conned me into signing up.
I was told there was no cooling off period and was contacted by an alleged tutor about a month later who was quite derogatory by saying I wasn't dedicated when the fact was the course was of no use to me at all which I reiterated in the conversation.
Subsequently I have been harassed and harangued constantly with financial demands and debt collection that has now been going on for four years.
I would advise anyone considering a course to think seriously if they want to be associated with such an organisation and avoid at all costs.
