Great halal steaks 👍
Good at first but then unreliable and often rude.
Tom Hixon have a steak club that seems good value as some months can be over half price discount but on two occasions now the monthly delivery never arrived.
The first occasion their CS explained, I had subscribed and an Admin error had occurred no enrolment in the club had been made on their side and no payment taken so clearly my fault!!
The last months subscription also never received but previous ones had. I emailed over 3 weeks ago and they did not even bother to respond, reply or refund me the £80 taken. So I have cancelled and will not use again.
Their competitors are far more reliable and comparable in terms of quality but significantly cheaper.
I dare say they have plenty of customers and don't care if they lose the odd one here and there. That seems to be their attitude from previous email exchanges.
The meat is exceptional!
The meat is exceptional! I've ordered steak, ribs and currently waiting for a brisket! Top quality and they are always very helpful if you need any support via email or calls.

Great steak again from Tom Hixson. Its where I buy my steak. The Paraguayan Rib eye is really good in both flavour and price. Delivery and communication also good. Thanks Andrew

The meat is always great, the taste is fantastic.

Ordered ribs and first lot arrive and…
Ordered ribs and first lot arrive and we're very good. We then ordered more but delivery did not arrive until a day later. Ribs had defrosted and smelt funny. Contacted Tom Hicksons who did apologise and sent me replacements but they also arrived fully defrosted meaning I had to cook all when they were not needed.
Poor service
Poor service. My order was initially split into 2 parts as some was initially not in stock. This was not a problem and the 2nd part was booked for an pre 1030 delivery on my nominated day. Good so far. However this delivery wasn't processed and so had to be canceled and re done for a week later.
A week later It was then delivered to a totally different address to the initial order.
Re done again for another week later and a day before delivery I was called to say it was again out of stock. Refund requested.

Absolutely abysmal
I placed an order at the end of may and they just didn’t deliver it. When I emailed they said that the meat was out of stock and it would be available after the 11th of June which is shockingly long, and they did not mention this previously. I waited so long and they only delivered it today. I don’t recommend this trash, overpriced company and their absolutely abhorrent service.
Avoid their Sydenham store
Having had issues previously with their online delivery we purchased some items in store. Unfortunately the staff did not give information about use by dates which, aside from raising food safety concerns about their practices, resulted in an expensive piece of meat being wasted. Customer service was non existent and no apology or service recovery was offered. Will be buying elsewhere in future.

Didn't deliver and no record of delivery, so had to rearrange. Missed the bbq we had planned, but was OK when it eventually arrived

Had it a second time from Hixson’s, it was good as I remember.
