I needed to cancel my reservation…

I needed to cancel my reservation several days in advance. Ever tried canceling or modifying an appointment on the TopGolf app?
It can’t be done. They don’t even list a phone number to call the local venue. It’s a total scam. The amount of time I now need to invest in order to cancel my Tue deposit of $12.49 is probably not worth it, so I guess they’ll win. Now, multiply my deposit by 10,000’s transactions and suddenly they’re making a lot of free money.

Poor customer service - Chigwell

I’ve been waiting for a refund for 2 weeks now and sent at least 2-3 emails about this matter and their customer service via email don’t even take the time to give me reassurance that my refund will be issued immediately and don’t get me started on their customer service via phone calls 🤦‍♂️ honestly no words can explain how awful their customer service are, literally is everyone sleeping on the job or something honestly cause over 4 hours waiting time over the phone is beyond me.

Dreadful customer service at Watford

Enjoyed the golf but apart from a great waitress the rest of the staff at Watford were just plain rude! The girl particularly on the desk where you paid was awful, rolling her eyes and generally arguing about everything and anything. Wanted us to pay a full membership at £22 each when we were only coming the once (certainly wouldn’t be back after the service we received and coming all the way from Reading) eventually she admitted we could pay a temp membership of £2pp! Well that’s a bit different. This place could really do with some training in customer service. My one star was for the waitress in the restaurant part she was lovely

Wish I could leave a 0 star review for…

Wish I could leave a 0 star review for this joke of a company. I was charged twice for a meal and when I tried to dispute this by calling the Glasgow Top Golf they told me that I had to email them. After writing many emails to Top Golf I didn’t receive any replies. Very poor customer service coupled with overpriced sessions. 0/10 - would not recommend to anyone.

Double charge

I went in for my sons birthday and a card was requested. I had 2 gift cards totaling $200 and it left my balance at $149 which was pending. I tipped $66 bringing my total to $215. Two days later I see an additional charge for the full $215 I’m addition to the 149 that they already had. First I was told they didn’t see the gift cards. Then I was told that they only see one charge for $400. I can’t get a straight answer from anybody so I’m gonna be disputing it with my bank. When I requested the number to the corporate office, they would not provide it.

Disappointing night at top golf

Went to top golf tonight I would respect if the place was a bar but it’s not it’s a golf range. I went out as a group of 4 three of us was over 18 and one 17 we got to Topgolf at 7 and was told it would be a 1h 30 mins wait so would mean we would be on the bay at 8:30 and out before 10 when it was mandatory for under 18’s to leave. After a 2h 30 mins wait we got in the bay at 9:35 giving us 25 mins for 4 of us to play 2 games. When we got to the bay all of us got asked for id and our friend who was 17 got told he had to leave at 10, when it got to 10 he was asked to leave half way through his first game with no refund offered and they was not allowing him to finish the game. I am really not happy with my experience as personally I think if we had paid for the games we should be allowed to finish them we was not even drinking and causing any inconvenience to other people at topgolf just minding our business like everyone else IN THIER OWN BAYS!
I will definitely not be returning and recommending this venue to anyone, think their policy needs to be reviewed,

They waited till you have spent your money in the place and then they come over to my son and his friend to ask for ID when they had been at the bar 4 times already, the member of staff just didn't like the top that I had on and that's called discrimination my son had ID 23 his friend did not have ID he 24 and then told to Leave the manger was NO help

It was my dad birthday present but….

It was my dad birthday present to go play top golf, before we went in, it family of 5 and security man never ask for id just my sis and she is over 18, turning 21 in couple week time. We were playing for nearly two hours and security guy was standing behind us, it was so embarrassing and he was started look at my sis for half an hour then told my family to leave, no refund and small gift card. It waste my money of £210 non refund, manager try best but not helping that much, only giving my dad £20 vouchers than £210 refund and he is not happy. Never going back again

Rude security

Topgolf Glasgow has a policy to only allow over 18s after a certain time which I totally appreciate. However, if you are checking id would it not make sense to do that as people enter? Today we were at topgolf and a member of security whose surname is McGowan came to our bay and asked my sister who is 26 and 20 weeks pregnant for ID. She had a photo of it but left the actual ID at home. We were asked to leave as a result. This was over an hour into our game.. we were not drinking alcohol or anything but still I appreciate rules are rules. However... McGowan went on to give us abuse, saying my cousin had a stupid face and that he did not care about customer service as he does not work for Topgolf. He is just security. Im sorry... but he was representing Topgolf at that time! He made a pregnant lady cry and was extremely cheeky and rude to all of us. This wasn't my first time at Topgolf and I have been there late evenings and never been asked for ID or treated in such a way. I definitely won't be returning!

Staff great

Staff great, game was fun. Had a good time but will not be a regularly
customer here or may not even be back as the price is extremely expensive for what it is (hyped up driving range). 22 pound an hour would be more of a reasonable price instead of the stupidly price of 45 pound per hour and would be more inline with the market average for the area, London prices in the city of Glasgow is not going to work as once the hype of the place dies down I don't see the place being able to hold down a regular customer base which will be it's downfall.

Awful security

Awful security. Four of us arrived at 7:30pm, one of us didn’t bring their ID. We got asked for ID at the door, bearing in mind on the website it says they don’t ID you until after 8pm. We wasn’t allowed in due to this. A minute later, a girl in the queue gets let in WITHOUT any ID, they just asked her her age and let her straight past. We went back and said how come she was allowed in without an ID? They said because she ‘looked’ old enough so they let her in. Absolute joke, why is it one rule for someone and another for someone else? Definitely won’t be returning. Sort it out.

Certainly not topgolf

Certainly not topgolf, not even midgolf, this is bottomgolf. Rocked up, stood at the bar for a drink and just didn’t get acknowledged. Stood there for about 10 minutes and people next to me came and went but not me. So I left and never turned back

Dangerous!I went to top golf (Chigwell)…

Dangerous! I went to top golf 18/06/23 at 3.45pm (Chigwell) for Father’s Day with my family, the party of men next to us were swinging their golf clubs violently and single handed. There was plenty of staff behind us hanging around watching but did not approach them to tell them to play properly. All of a sudden a golf club came flying past us with considerable force and hit the light fitting above our head debris flew towards us and the light fitting was hanging off by the cable. We were in shock, at no moment did the staff leap forward to remove us from the scene, console us or fill out an incident report. We requested management and told to speak to Billy (Manager who refused to give us his surname) downstairs. He didn’t have any explanation, no reassurance or where we should report the incident. We were given a full refund minus our fast track charge (which they said is handled by a third party) or meals.
We were so shaken up as my 9 year old son was standing right there. While in shock it occurred to me after a minute that I should move away from the area with my family. All the staff were totally lost as to deal with the situation and stood by like spectators. I am still in shock thinking what if the golf club flew into my face or my sons how bad the injury would have been.
Instead all the staff kept quiet in a bid for us to leave asap.
I will never return, the worst first experience of my life feeling so scared for my family.
There was no supervision just lots of laid back staff. I really hope Top golf contact me regarding this incident.
Do not take your children , elderly or anyone there, you have been warned. My son is very shaken up and can’t stop talking about it.

Abosulte the worse service ever

Abosulte the worse service ever. Went to abridge TopGolf on the 1/06/2023 and ordered a raspberry mojito which came orange. I asked the waiter is that right and he said yes. Tasted it and it was disgusting. Ask the waiter can we change it, answer was no, manager Jen said no and her manager Bailey said no. WHAT A JOKE ESTABLISHMENT.

I have never had a bad experience here

I have never had a bad experience here. We frequently visit the cleveland location. The employees and management are absolutely amazing. The games are so much fun they even have Angry birds for golf! My son loves that it adds a kick in his advantage! I have been here in all seasons and weather. Always comfortable! I highly recommend!

Make Sure You're Able to Use a High Chair

I planned an event for my family on April 1, 2023. While planning my event, I asked my sales person about seating and walking since I was having hip surgery, and my daughter's legs quickly weaken because she is a COVID long-hauler. She walks with braces. She has also planned events for her company with this establishment and was aware of their event seating. These areas provide lower chairs and allow a group to be at the same level. We were taken to a bay area with only high chairs. They brought in two lower chairs, but it was very difficult for us to talk together. According to our contract that is all they had to provide. When we asked about the event seating, we were told they were taken because they were accommodating the morning people. They missed their session since we had a snowstorm. They had a choice for a refund and when to reschedule. We didn't!! The poor service didn't help!!

Great experience at TopGolf Las Vegas

We visited the Topgolf venue in Las Vegas and had a fantastic time. The view from our booth was stunning and we just happened to catch the sunset during our stay. The cost was high but we found it to be well worth the money. We added on additional time to do more rounds but ended up leaving 30 minutes early. The staff were so helpful and even took the remining minutes off our bill. Such a fun experience.
