A failure at every level.

I preordered the Mezco One:12 Fantastic Four Deluxe Steel Boxed Set for £339.99 on 13/10/22

First red flag was when I checked my bank statement to see payment was taken by actual named person rather than the company Toy Trash - I had to have my bank investigate person. As it was a legitimate payment from myself and messaging Toy Trash through their site and getting a reply from said person, I called off investigation - I now wish I'd just gotten a refund.

After a few months with no updates - which I felt I was owed as monies had been exchanged, I messaged directly.

It took days to respond - I was told that set had been delayed(fair enough).

After a few more months with no updates, I messaged again and again they took days to reply - I was told item had been delayed till the end of the year and to check the official Mezco site for updates.

I kept checking the Mezco site sporadically for updates until in December, I found the set was shipped in November, sold out and sign-in for waiting list in case any new stock became available.

I've now messaged Toy Trash countless times(through their site and email address that I received initial messages from) and as of today(06/02/24), they've never responded.

What am I to think? They've got my money, never provided any updates and I now know item has sold out!

What possible excuse can they give?

Do they not have record of my order on a database or that they are have my payment of £339.99?

Unfortunately I couldn't report sooner as I have had a lot of real world issues to deal with in the last 8 months.

It's shame that after this experience I will NEVER EVER pay for a preorder again!

Partially fulfilled + partially refunded, waiting for the last refund

[Aug.17 2020 and Dec.8 2020] I placed two preorders at ToyTrash (Mythic Legions horses figures) and fully paid for them.
[Feb.18 2023] After countless of messages asking for updates, the owner states that it was going to be impossible for him to fulfill my pre-orders and promised a refund after Apr23.
[Sep.10 2023] Again, Mr. Z.'s promises to refund the money that he owes me after tons and tons of unanswered messages.
[Dec.13 2023] But despite my patience, I still haven't received any refund till this date.
I have always been polite in every message.

Edit [Jan.3 2023]: For clarification, I have received 3 out of the 5 figures I preordered (two separate preorders).

Edit [Jan.3 2023]: [Dec.14 2023] I have received the refund for one of the figures, and the second and last refund should be coming soon. 🙏🙏

Edit [Jan.7 2023]: [Jan.7 2023] Final refund received! :D

Trash is an appropriate name for the business!

I made a pre-order with Toy Trash for 2 Iconiq Studios items costing £418 back in January 2022, but never received my order. The product has been available elsewhere since June 2023.

This owner has put me through hell for the past four months by telling me countless lies, excuses and then completely blanking my emails, in which I requested a refund. He's also been deleting comments from his customers on Toy Trash's Facebook page, asking him where their orders are.

I'd had enough of his disgraceful behaviour, so I decided that I was going to take him to a small claims court and report him to trading standards. Only when I told him of my intentions did he decide to pay me back what he owed me.

The following is the message that he sent to me today (08/10/23) just after issuing the refund.

"As stated, your refund has been sent.

I was going to send it earlier, but I enjoyed seeing your increased frustration so much I decided to wait till today.

Enjoy your money and have a pleasant life".

The audacity of his message is almost beyond belief.

If you have any money owed to you from this scumbag - Kam Zubairi (Toy Trash owner) then don't hesitate, notify the small claims court and report him to trading standards. Don't let him steal your hard earned money!

We have been waiting nearly 2 years on the iconiq studios patrick bateman 1/6 scale figure. So many emails sent asking for updates, been super patient. Keep getting told so much crap with it will be sent when Srck arrives ect. This figure has been out for months now. And now our emails are being ignored. Not to be trusted

Genuine Toys with an Excellent Service

Purchased a few figures that were on sale. No flaws or damages in any of the products. Packaged well and checkout process was very easy (check-out through PayPal).

If taken time to read the notice, you would know what to expect with dispatch and delivery time. Knowing this, items did arrive promptly for my order. Updates were given along the order.

Toy Trash provided an excellent service. Happy to recommend them.
