£10.000 paid over to Trent Valley in APRIL and to date still waiting for their build, constantly chasing. A complete nightmare, !!!

We’ve been waiting over 13 months for our final Building Regulation Certificate—more than 4 times the standard 3-month timeframe provided by the approved inspector. The lack of accountability and communication has been appalling.

The staff member responsible for certificate handling went on 3–4 months' leave in 2025, and we were told no one could access her files during that time. There was no backup or support, which is completely unprofessional for a company managing legal compliance.

In June 2025, the inspector contacted us directly requesting additional evidence—clearly, the documentation your company provided wasn’t sufficient. That was the moment we realized we had to step in ourselves to fix what should’ve been your responsibility.

We even visited your Nottingham showroom (Brookfields Garden Centre) in person—twice—and offered to pay for a new job just to move things along. We were turned away and told the installation team would follow up. They never did.

Since March 2025, we’ve had no option but to deal directly with the inspector—submitting our own photos and chasing updates ourselves.

To this day, no call, no update, no resolution from your team. Just empty promises that someone is “working on it.”

Absolutely awful and ongoing experience. Poor communication, zero ownership, and a total lack of aftercare. We’re sharing our story so no one else ends up in this situation.

Trent Valley built our conservatory in 2019. We were very pleased with the entire process from start to finish and felt we were listened to and our wishes always acted upon. Over the years , we have needed a few minor repairs doing (as you would to any new building) and they have always responded quickly and efficiently to any requests. We heartily recommend Trent Valley Windows!

I am very happy with Trent Valley Windows’ services. The quality of windows they installed for me is excellent. The installation went smoothly, and the fitters did a great job. Their customer service is very good. I needed my back door to be adjusted months after installation. They acted promptly and came same day I called them to fix it. They have real humans to speak to of any issue or problem with windows after installation. I would definitely use them again. I highly recommend them to anyone who wants hassle-free windows installation and reliable after sales care.

The windows that we had fitted in February of this year are truly 5 star. The fitters went the extra mile to ensure that job was completed on time and to a very high standard. TVW also didn’t insist on their final payment until the work completed to our satisfaction.
If there’s anything that they could’ve improved on it was communication. Other than that I would be more than happy to recommend them to future customers, thanks team

The whole process from estimate to completion was exceedingly well managed and professional. The quality of the doors are excellent and the after care service prompt.

Our first contact was with the rep who prepared the quotation, very polite, helpful listened and then advised. Second contact the surveyor who made sure what we needed was what we got, took good time to ensure positive outcome Third contact the installation team polite skilful clean very workmanlike, nothing too much.
Every company should have promote such ethos.

Replacement and upgrade of conservatory. Good service from planning through to installation. Team were able to offer ideas to improve current space. Also able to quickly sort out some minor snags. Happy with end result and would recommend Trent Valley Windows.

I can highly recommend Trent Valley Windows for excellent customer service from the sales team, to the surveyor, to the installation.
The sales team are very knowledgeable and provide valued information to get the product you require, with a quick no obligation quote.
The surveyor came and checked all the specifications and placed my order which he managed to get sorted very quickly and my door was fitted well within the specified time frame.
My door was fitted in a few hours, by a really nice fitter named Marcus.
He was polite, very efficient and his work was so tidy my porch was immaculate when he had finished.
So pleased with the end product, I am now having further work done by Trent Valley Windows.

Very happy with Trent valley windows, they replaced 4 front windows 2 of them bay windows and composit front door, very happy with the quality and the work done. Followed by excellent service always responded quickly if there is any issues with the work they've done . Highly recommended

Trent Valley Windows supplied and fitted a new front door for me. Fantastic quality composite door and great value for money. Had a minor issue which was sorted very quickly and efficiently by the after sales team. Definitely recommend and will be back for some windows !

From salesman through to fitters, the whole experience went smoothly with no issues. What a fabulous job. I can't recommend this company enough. I love my new patio door, and will definitely be back when I replace my windows.

Simply want your money communication is shocking, do not trust this group of companies. Fitted all my doors and windows and all failed by FENSA there complaint procedure is not worth the paper it’s written on as they simply don’t reply at all. I heading to a Solistors now with support from FENSA hows report os shocking work!!!! Most people work there are sub contractors also so beware. As all the subcontractors and surveyors want to do is upsell!!!!!

The reply / responses below are incorrect it’s not two windows at all again information is wrong! Left hand doesn’t know what the right hand is doing !!

After receiving an expensive quote from Trent Valley Windows, the sales rep asked if we’d like a quote for an extension. My husband replied with a simple “Yes please.”

The sales rep Edgar then responded with:

“I received this two-word email yesterday after almost 3 months of silence. Is this a mistake? However, an email that lacks a basic Hello, Thank you, and Kind Regards just stunned me. Did I do something to deserve this kind of communication?”

We found this response rude, condescending, and completely inappropriate — especially considering Edgar had visited our home and was aware of our personal circumstances. Rather than offering assistance or moving things forward, we were met with sarcasm and criticism.

This interaction alone was enough to make us walk away. If this is how they treat prospective customers, we’d be very concerned about their service further down the line. We won’t be using them and cannot recommend them based on our experience.

We very nearly withdrew from the contract, after the price went up due to the survey stage finding that additional work was needed beyond the original quote. We were all set for a fight and had even taken consumer advice, but Trent Valley Windows was wholly open to our concerns and acted fully to restore our sense of trust, proposing a very fair-minded adjusted pricing. I am so glad that we stuck with them, as from then on, their customer service was superb, keeping me informed at every stage and scheduling entirely to our family's convenience. Most important, they did an excellent job and the house is transformed! The full installation of all windows plus front door was done by two workmen, who were exceptionally friendly and considerate, working fast, efficiently, expertly and with tidiness. Special shout out to Ian Swain for liaising with me (as the remote owner) so responsively, and also ensuring liaison with my son who was living in the house. Highest recommendation to this supplier who demonstrated genuine commitment to ensuring a more-than-satisfied customer.

The response to my problem was fantastic. The receptionist understood our dilemma and got an engineer to us in no time at all.

Good communication, spot on product, very competitive price. Very satisfied indeed. The two men who did the installation (Jim & David) took great care and did a fantastic job.
