Problem with my Cervelo S5 under warranty not interested

I've got a problem with my Cervelo S5 2020 bottom bracket seized up on a ride; tried ringing them over several days with no luck sent an email to their warranty address with no response. Tried for the last time today and managed to talk to someone who was only interested in telling me how busy they've been selling hundreds of bikes and that the workshop isn't open until 1st Aug and not interested in warranty work and recommended to try some other Cervelo dealer which I have done. I've bought bikes from them for nearly 20 years my latest bike cost nearly £10,000 that doesn’t make any difference to them, I understand that Covid has caused problems for companies but all they seem interested in is selling bikes not supporting the ones they've sold. I've told them I will not be buying anymore from them. Really disappointed as I've in the past had really good service. looking the latest reviews their going to lose a lot of customer.

Don’t trust this company

Ordered a bike online that was allegedly in stock. Received a confirmation order and told that the bike was being dispatched and no further changes could be made. Credit card was debited. 2 weeks later received an email essentially saying sorry Covid has caused us to make false claims of items being in stock when in fact they are not.

update: slow and quiet but working (old:very poor)

Update:
To be fair, I try to give positive feedback within all the negatives:

Suddenly I got a tracking number and my bike was delivered after three weeks. In my case, the online inventory information was correct in the end. The delivery was fine, bike well packaged and in good condition.

But communication is still a bit lacking - although my email was answered after a while. On ebay, this would be fine for a cheap item, but given the relatively high value of the bikes, expectations are of course higher when it comes to the quality of the transaction. Transparency and easy effective communication are becoming more important. We will see their ability to handle a warranty case in future.

If responded faster or answering the phone, I would give a four-star rating and with updates during the ordering process even more. So it is currently only 3 stars considering the overall process.

Remember: "TRI UK is the UK's largest triathlon retailer and mail order specialist." source: triuk.com

Ordered a bike first time on truik.com more than a week ago. Only got an order confirmation stating that the order is processed to warehouse with expected duration of 10 to 14 working days - no further information, no updates except that cancellation or order changes are not possible. Wrote an e-mail additionally with another topic to the sales - no response.

So I can definitly confirm the complains in the negative reviews here. Covid 19 can´t be an excuse for this mess - sorry. Every other online retailer is much more better organized.

Can´t wait for my order is beeing canceled like it happend to many other customers.

triuk has a lot of work to do in improving customer processes...

Bike Order cancelled by TRIUK

Like many others, ordered an expensive bike online, payment taken, confirmation email received only to find a few days later i received a generic communication that the bike isnt in stock. Come on Triuk, this isnt down to Covid or a massive uptake in sales, its poor management. Luckily I have been able to cancel an order for some wheels for the bike thats not arriving!!!!!!

Very Poor.

Customer service and sales department nonexistent

I have placed an order for a bike 3.5 weeks ago and have not received a single word from them in terms of a status update. Their call center is unreachable and they do not reply to emails. A representative promised that they would call back about my order being "on hold", they never did. I am noteeven sure my order is still on anymore... Not surprised to see the rest of the reviews here... Avoid if you can.

Recently bough bike here. And it wasn't cheap one.

I bought bike recently in TRIUK, and customer service is just horrible. Been wrongly advised on size, tried to call and wrote emails. Been told someone will contact me back but no one never did haven't got reply for more then 10 days.
Please avoid this place and try to buy elsewhere. Any kind of savings these guys offering IT IS NOT WORTHY. Non existing customer service and they even been willing to charge me for nothing as I am used to continental brake setup and did want to change it they quoted 100£, despite bikes are coming in continental setup to them by default. Horrible place to shop. Never again.

AVOID THIS PLACE

AVOID THIS PLACE. Similar experience to so many others..they confirmed my order for a bike and took payment straight away only to tell me 8 days later that their stock list and website did not align and that my order would be cancelled. Not a great experience. Take your money elsewhere.

Order was canceled by tri uk and no refund has been given

I placed an order for a gravel bike. The order was accepted and the payment taken. I last reviewed the status of the order and it said it was being packed. Then a few days later I received an email saying the bike was out of stock and they had canceled my order and I would receive a refund in 5-7 days. I replied to the email asking how it could be in the process of being packed for shipping and then all of a sudden out of stock. However tri uk I guess felt I was not worth replying to explain this and it has now been 14 days with no refund.

Terrible

Terrible! Bike shown as in stock, I paid over £2400 for the bike only to be told a week later they don’t have it. In this time I could of bought from somewhere else. Now I’m having to miss a planned trip next week as I don’t have a bike to use. Well done! I understand it’s a different time due to the corona virus but no other company operating at this time shows this much lack of quality. Get it together triuk!! First and last time I’ll be using you!

Overloaded but still working

I ordered a pair of shoes online about two months ago and they arrived about 10 days after ordering (which is within what they had specified at time of ordering).

After my first positive experience, I decided to order a bike online. However, afterwards I realised I needed to cancel the order. Called several times and emailed. After a full day of calling finally got through and the order was cancelled and refunded in full within 2 minutes.

Yes, they are clearly overloaded right now and contacting them may be difficult but on the whole it was a good experience and I would buy from them again.

Avoid at all costs!

Tri UK is a terrible supplier and should be avoided ⚠️⚠️⚠️
Dream bike ordered and over £2k debited by Tri UK only to have the order cancelled *over a week later*. Do not trust any order from them until they have dispatched the goods. If their stock system is useless it suggests a chaotically run business. Covid is a reason for delayed orders, not a flawed operating model. Use any of the major companies out there, they have satisfactory stock systems and run reliable businesses.

Here’s my honest review

Here’s my honest review - we are in unprecedented times therefore I knew when I ordered it does state this clearly on the website that delays would be 14 days -
However with great weather and a skeleton crew I bet they didn’t bargain for the uplift in sales.
My time scale ran over by 8 days not huge really but I was impatient.
This is because we are a online generation expecting next day, communication at first was slow but sarah was great - I took the shawshank method an email a day - bike arrived and perfectly packaged built all but the peddles and handle bars which is standard - and I effing love my new Kalkhoff bike I live in hilly north wales I’m 48 and unfit - but this bike is just all kinds of epic - thanks TRIUk
And the rest of you moaning stay safe and just because your not working don’t focus on time scales it will arrive xxx

Bike purchase

I recently bought a bike from TriUK at the Glasgow Fort.
The staff were very knowledgeable and friendly and they explained that for safety purposes, they must set up the bike before it leaves the shop.

I picked it up yesterday (4 days later) and am very happy with my purchase.

Ordered a Tri bike on the 13th May

Ordered a Tri bike on the 13th May, received the bike today 27th May. Very happy with the bike. I was initially getting worried after placing the order having read other people’s reviews.....I decided to be patient and emailed them after 11days for an update, a fella called Colin replies within a few days saying that my order will be dispatched the next day 26th May. True to their word I got an email and the bike delivered 27th May. All in all 14 days from order date pretty good considering the current situation

Only thing I would say is Tri Uk need to improve the online account status as this didn’t change or give any updates

Staggering incompetence

Not good, really very bad.

I found the trainers I wanted online, and noticing TriUK offer a price match 'promise' and wanting to support a local business, especially during these difficult times, I paid them a visit.

The guy that met me at the door (restricted access due to COVID) had the dynamism of dead goat, and the charm and charisma of a land mine. He said he was 'forces' so I just assumed he was on some kind of work placement, or maybe he had received some kind of injury that affected his cognitive processing ability; not his fault.

I knew what size I wanted, and due to the restrictions, it wasn't possible to try any trainers on. I had researched online and knew that these shoes fitted true to size, so I ordered a pair of size 11 (the same size I have been for about 20 years). I showed him where I had seen the trainers online - same size, colour, model, in stock and as the price promise states on their website:
WE WILL ENDEAVOUR TO MATCH THE PRICE OF ANY PRODUCT ON THE BASIS THAT THE ITEM IS IN STOCK AND AVAILABLE FOR IMMEDIATE PURCHASE IN THE SAME COLOUR, SIZE AND STYLE.

I guess 'endeavour' is the key word here as he told me they couldn't match the price, but he did knock some off the price. Against my instincts, I bought the trainers anyway.

I had put about 30 miles on the trainers, and couldn't work out why they were so uncomfortable and were giving me terrible blisters. I tried to swap out the insoles, which is when I realised this guy has sold me the wrong size, they are a 10.

Now nobody is answering the phone or email, there were at least 3 members of staff in store, I assume at least one of them can use a telephone (but then I did assume one of them could read) or a computer. I'm left with a pair of trainers I can't return or use.

Lesson learnt, never shop here again

Cheers
