This company took my money but will not pay for any repairs. I have been given a list of why is was denied. One of the pretty much makes any kenworth or peterbilt non warranty. When talking to them they have there list of excuses. What a scam. Was told by the kenworth dealer that they have refused all warranties at there shop.

TrueNorth is the typical cynical american company that prides itself on false marketing to lure hard working people in to believe their vehicles are covered for them to search for ANY and EVERY REASON to "DENY" your claim! "STAY AWAY FROM TRUNORTH!!"

every body writing in bad for them is…

every body writing in bad for them is 100% true
i experience same issue with them
they approved everything to get my truck fixed and after fixing i give credit card to shop. they charge me whole amount for repair by mistake instead of deductible amount. TruNorth decline my claim saying why u pay whole amount. what a joke.
i recommend not to purchase these warranties

Be careful/SCAM

Be careful, total scam. Basically, if you can wait 2-4 weeks to get your truck fixed then you are good but who can afford to stay home for 2-4 weeks without a job, especially the truck itself is your job. If you do not have a spear truck then total scam. Finally, there communication is the worst.

Wastage of money- SCAM !!

Wastage of money- SCAM !!

I bought 4 warranties from TruNorth for my 4 trucks, wasted $28,000. There was a problem in the truck then I filed a claim, TruNorth denied the claim stating that the truck was driven 50 KM after pulling the fault code. There was no fault code on the dashboard, TruNorth found the fault code from the fault code history of the truck.
TruNorth's requirement is to stop the truck immediately on the road if there is a problem in the truck and tow the truck to the mechanic. DO NOT DRIVE THE TRUCK TO A SAFE LOCATION

Be careful, it's a BIG SCAM

2 claims denied. AVOID IT

I was driver of the truck for which the claim was denied twice. My owner was literally begging them because there was nothing to deny the claim but they didn’t listen. They don’t understand that someone buys their product with the trust that they are covered but here we have something extra to deal with on top of that we have to pay from our own pocket for the repair and their premium. AVOID IT !

This company is a joke

This company is a joke . They continually want Information and the more you provide the more they want . They have denied two claims my husband filed . However they had no problem taking his money for the premium but that’s for their pockets not for the drivers legitimate claims . So drivers beware run far and wide away from this company. They are thieves and liars . They will ruin your lives with every claim .

No one in these blogs that leave bad…

No one in these blogs that leave bad reviews are lying... I know that what they're saying is true is because I too was finessed. how dare y'all get on here to defend yourselves with lies. So for whomever that would like to start a class action I am onboard. Thousands of dollars have they taken from an array of people & I won't stop until these people are held accountable. Ridiculous to take from the hard working folk out here trying to support their family, homes, or wellbeing.

Jacqueline, I would like the opportunity to answer your unfounded claims, however you have not provided enough information to do so. Avoid this company!!!!

I wish I had seen this site before buying the warranty. The warranty is not worth the paper its printed on. They denied both of my claims despite providing proof that I didn't continue operating the vehicle after the fault occurred. I don't know how these people sleep at night. I know I couldn't if I was that big of crook ripping people off. If you feel you really need a warranty, buy one from someone else. Otherwise, put the money in an escrow account. You will be much better off than giving this company any money.

Stay Clear Of This Company

Well spent $10,000 dollars on a limited warranty for my 2015 T800 Kenworth, covering differentials ,transmission, and engine components. Followed required warranty maintenance too a Tee. Turbo on my truck is just starting too fail, had a licensed shop clear engine code troubleshooting turbo, took truck too Kenworth. They diagnosed turbo, finding bearing failure. The Tru north warranty I purchased covers turbo. These guys tell me because active engine codes for turbo were cleared before going into Kenworth, they wouldn't warranty the turbo. Pictures were sent clearly showing the turbo failed. What a joke, they won't cover it. As a customer, i'm pretty disgusted with this outfit, and would recommend not doing business with Tru North Warranty, they will find any excuse not too cover warranty, Save your Money, Stay Clear!

First, TN does not have a warranty that cost $10,000, the user must be talking about other warranty companies. That TruNorth warranty steal money from drivers! Don’t buy that warranty. i claimed within 3 years 3-4 times never covered they always cover ass.😤😤
They said: my last claim was

The vehicle being operated with a faulty Turbo for over 7 months can and will affect the operating performance of the Engine and cause damage to the Exhaust Valves.

Anyone agree that?

This has to be the worst Warranty…

This has to be the worst Warranty Provider in that business Sector. Under no circumstances they will
cover any claims. I paid over $18,000.00 for coverages on 4 Vehicle and have not had a Successful claim yet after 2 years of having this Warranty. Do not waste your money like I did.

Hello Jamario. I have reviewed your statement above. There are 4 VIN's associated with your name. Two of the VIN's have not had a claim filed on those trucks. One of the VIN's has one claim for EGR Cooler, Turbo Kit, and Couplin Behind Cooler. This claim was paid in full, minus the required deductible. This statement only already does not match what you have above, as you have in fact had a successful claim with TrüNorth. Your most recent claim was opened for an air leak on the transmission requiring replacement of the control housing and various gaskets. There was clear continued operation with faults for the transmission over 8 days. n accordance with the Limited Warranty Agreement, section K, ”This TrüNorth Limited Warranty does not cover and shall not be liable for... continued operation of an impaired vehicle".

This review concludes that TruNorth has complied with the terms and conditions set forth in the Limited Warranty Agreement signed by the Warranty Holder.

TruNorth has no clue about trucking

TruNorth has no clue about trucking. In order for them to even consider the claim you have to get your truck towed the second the check engine light comes on. Even if the problem will do no harm to the truck if you complete your load or drive to the dealer. This last time, I stopped at a dealer. The dealer didn't have a knock sensor. The dealer told me there would be no harm to the vehicle if I completed my load which I did. The tow cost alone would cost us more then the repair. TruNorth denied the claim. The second claim in a row they have denied. They will come up with any excuse to deny your claim. Customer Service / Claims knows absolutely nothing about Semi-Trucks or the trucking industry. They just follow a list of requirements. Not to mention it takes them 2 days to deny your claim. I don't know about you, but I can't have a truck towed for a small problem when a load has to be delivered.

Hello Francis. After review, you had two warranties, one of which did not have a claim filed. The other only has one claim and the items and services listed (ABS Modulator, Resurface flywheel, Clutch, Clutch Cylinder, Solenoid valve, Cylinder housing, and Coolant Level Sensor, ) are non-covered under the warranty. In accordance with the limited Warranty Agreement, section K, subsection i, “Damage resulting from the failures of related components but not limited to: actuators;...manual or automatic transmission clutch-disc(s);......slave cylinder(s); sliding clutch(es);...throw out or pilot bearing;...are not covered”.

This review concludes that TruNorth has complied with the terms and conditions set forth in the Limited Warranty Agreement signed by the Warranty Holder.

Hello Sami. I have reviewed your claim. Your most recent claims have been reviewed. We attempted to reach you several times over your most recent claim and were unable to do so. I can see from the call logs that you called in twice and you spoke with an adjudicator. Unfortunately, the repairs had been made and the claims procedure was not followed. In addition, no estimates or further information was received and thus TruNorth had no information of which to adjudicate a claim.

Owner

TruNorth is a HORRIBLE warranty company they do not honor their contracts, they take your money deny your claim. The tow/dispatch company they refer you to is also unreliable. Employees are reading a script with very little knowledge of the mechanics of an engine, meaning they have a script telling them if it's not this scenario, then deny claim. We are in a PANDEMIC for COVID-19 the shops are not running a regular schedule for a 3 day turn around in which delays paperwork. Most businesses have made adjustments because of these abnormal times but not TruNorth/FalseNorth. Its difficult to believe employees there have not been affected because no one is exempted. This warranty was referred by dealer , I have many regrets not purchasing a more honorable warranty, from a company that provides a better customer service.

WASTING MONEY AND TIME

First they waste your time, waiting on you to give up.

Secondly they request so much information about everything, so they can reject you easily if you do not have something.

And then when you pass all that, they just give you some stupid explanation why that is not covered.
They simple do not care for you arguments and proofs.
SAVE YOUR TIME AND MONEY..AVOID THEM
