Save your money, dont go with these cowboys!!

We signed up for the Gold Package with this company a year ago, to fit a filter to the central heating system, Raflek radiator foil on all radiators, radiator balancing and 5 years servicing.
They broke a radiator, the foil caused damp in two rooms so I had to remove all of them, and they left a leak in the kitchen radiator. When I called Kelvin to come and fix this, he told me 3 times he was coming and never showed up.
I have tried to get a refund on my money as I dont trust them to come and do the work. I have emailed them and the Director has said that they wont refund any money at all as they dont believe I reported any of the problems. It seems Kelvin didnt tell them that I had complained, surprise, surprise!
They took £1100 from us, and we have tried to ask nicely for some of this back, only to be told basically, they dont believe me. Oh, they are happy to cancel the 5 year contract but not to refund any money at all.
Please, save your money, do not go with these cowboys. They are preying on elderly and disabled people, taking their money and not giving a proper service. I will now be taking legal action to recoup some of my money as I tried to contact them and doing this civially, but they didnt want to know. Steer clear of them, they are cowboys!!

29.01.2026 - In response to your reply and accusation that my problems were not reported, please check out my Trustpilot review of a year ago. It was reported then.
I did phone to ask about my review as no-one from your company rang me to book anything in but I then looked at the reviews and the costs from other companies and found that the £1100 I paid was way over the top for that work that was done.

It appears to be a pattern that you try and discredit customers that genuinely complain. I am just letting other customers know what to expect when they deal with your company.

There are two sides to every story and we believe that this lady changed her mind over a year after we completed the work for her. Initially she called us early this year to book in her yearly filter clean that is included in our Gold package as standard. A week later she phoned to say that actually she had changed her mind and wanted her money back.
In a later email she claims that the work we had done a year before was inadequate and that she did not want us back in her house for the filter clean. In this Email she admits that she did not report any of this to the company at the time, as such we have no way of verifying her claims. The yearly filter clean (for 5 years) is an added extra to our Gold package which we completed over a year ago to the ladies satisfaction (as far as we are aware). She can of course choose not to allow us to uphold our commitment to clean the filter but we can not offer a refund on reports of substandard work that we receive over a year late.
We would also wonder, if her accusations were true, why she would call us to book in for her filter clean in the first instance if she genuinely believes we are "cowboys"
The accusation that we pray on the elderly and disabled is categorically untrue and we look forward to proving this as libelous should she decide to proceed with legal action.

Avoid - poor work and do not deliver what they promise

We paid for this company's 'gold package' in the late summer of 2023. The engineer who fitted the filter and flushed the system needed three attempts to fit it without it leaking and he left us without any heating in our downstairs rooms as he failed to bleed & balance the radiators properly. After multiple calls to the office we finally got this sorted over a month later. I also later found that he had somehow broken the valve on the bathroom radiator which I can now no longer bleed so we needed a new radiator. The package was also supposed to include an annual service of the filter. To date (December 2025) we have heard nothing more from them. The servicing has not taken place despite phone calls to their office. Given the poor initial work and difficulties in getting them to rectify their mistakes, I would be reluctant to let them near the system again espcially during the winter when we need the heating. My advise would be to avoid this company!

Work not done as explained

Work not done as explained. In fact other than foil behind radiators nothing done. Tried contacting but no response. Even took solicitors advice and emailed several times but still nothing. Solicitors were referring to Trading Standards on our behalf. All very upsetting especially as husband disabled

I am leaving this review to warn people…

I am leaving this review to warn people about using this company.
The pattern of events in 1 star reviews has been repeated in my experience.
My 89 year old dad was cold called and agreed to pay £1000 for the flush service offered. When the engineer called he couldn't complete the full service due to an issue with the existing pipework.
There was also an issue with 1 radiator now not working in a bedroom.
My dad asked me to call up the company and find out what was going on because he was getting no reply back after leaving answer machine messages.
I rang up got straight though and spoke to Kelly who said she would get the engineer to call back the next day 16th December and so would get a manager to ring me with regards to a potential refund for the work they couldn't completed to fit a filter. The next day no one called me back and no engineer attended my dad's house in Workington.
I then got a mobile number from their website and spoke to Jonathan Clarke who apologised and said would look into this and call me back within an hour. He didn't call back. The engineer Kelvin then did ring me back on 18th December saying he would call back and fix the radiator that wasn't working on Friday 19th. He didn't call my dad back as promised and didn't turn up on the 19th. I rang him again and was assured he would call the next morning the 20th December.
My dad was up early and waiting for the visit. No show again. Then by text as my calls weren't been answered he said he had called and banged on the door and rang but could get in and then had to leave to go to other jobs.
This was un true and I believe that he has told lies claiming he tried to get entry.
Since then I have left messages asking for a call back and been ignored.
The purpose of this review is to get the radiator fixed and to have a sensible conversation about the work carried out and get a refund if one is due.
The lack of response and broken promises to ring me back is very poor and gives the impression that once the money has been paid they do not care about rectifying any issues.
I am willing to update this review if the issues I have identified are resolved.

Bullies targeting the vulnerable

Visited my elderly father and pressured him into a boiler check and radiator bleed. They pushed to do the job that day despite him saying he wanted it after Christmas. He was told it’s government scheme. After the alleged work had been carried out he was charged over £1000.
Taking advantage of the aged and vulnerable is despicable. This company should be bought to task!!!

In response: I do say it was my elderly father that was the customer. Please contact me to discuss further. Be accountable for what your team does say and do. Where was his ‘cooling down’ period? Why pushed into there and then when he had said he didn’t want any work doing until after Christmas?

This company cold called my elderly…

This company cold called my elderly relatives, talked about government backing, and sadly they got them to agree to some work. "Tin foil" down the radiators, the mag filter cleaned, radiators "flushed" - then took the £1000 for the work.

Totally unrequired work.

But sadly all within the letter of the law.

We dispute this review, UK Home Save have had no contact with this reviewer. We DO NOT claim any affiliation with the government, we do not put "tin foil" down radiators. Any work we do is required, we walk away from properties advising the homeowner if work is unnecessary and once our work is complete before any payment is taken the homeowner see the results for themselves.

Do not use this company.

**THIS REVIEW IS IN TWO PARTS AS I WAS ASKED TO TAKE DOWN MY FIRST REVIEW, SO REPOSTING THAT PLUS AN EDIT** Part 1: So i have waited a few weeks to write this review. Our landlord sent this company out to do a system flush, which they did, that actually made our heating worse and we went from half working radiators to only two working radiators in the whole house and the rest switched off/without TVR valves as they disconnected them. They told us a valve replacement was needed on three radiators. Three separate occasions they were meant to turn up to do this work that the landlord has already paid for only for us to wait in all day for no one to turn up. This now the 4th time ive waited in. It is 11.53 and no one has turned up for our 11am appointment. When I call the office a rude lady cuts me off doesnt let me speak and assures me "craig" will call me back. This happens every time. This Craig never calls us back. It is now 1.37pm and I called back to ask where the plumber was to be told he's not coming today as they are on skeleton staff, when I asked at what point they were going to tell me no one is coming i got no answer. They then for the first time ever in the last four weeks tried to claim someone came to the home twice already and no one was in. Which I know is a lie because i have a video doorbell. Isn't technology great? They then tried to claim they had called my husband on previous occasions to access the property which they did not as no missed calls. I explained that I wanted this done because being diabetic can make me very ill in this cold weather. I got no response. I requested they send the next appointment to me in writing in an email so i had proof of the next visit when they eventually don't turn up again. All I want is for someone to actually turn up when they say they will and fix the problem. Is that too much to ask? A little transparency and courtesy wouldn't go a miss either. I will amend my review should they actually fix the issue or apologise.
PART 2: Edit and update. I originally posted all text before this on Tuesday the 25th of November 2025. Within two hours I had a call from Craig "the boss" whether he is a manager or owns the company I do not know. I was asked to take down my review and allow him to come out personally and fix the issue, he advised he couldn't get out to us till Sunday 30/11. I agreed to this and he requested that "as a good will gesture" I removed my review. I did so. I am now writing this on the 3rd of December. He did not turn up on Sunday claiming he had an emergency to attend. He told me he would come today (3/12/25). He said he would come after 5pm as we work full time and have already lost multiple work days waiting in for them. It is now 8pm. He has once again not turned up and this time to add insult to injury he has ignored all my calls and messages. Do not trust this company or any staff member to tell you the truth or turn up when they say they will. Avoid this company at all costs and when they try to bully you into taking down a bad review in return for actually coming to do the work, don't do it till the work is completed.

Boiler service …

They came out and flushed out the system and installed a device to collect the sludge. However we paid extra for an annual boiler service and they have not fulfilled their obligation to do this. They gave us three dates but didn't turn up on any of them. We phoned them about 20 times and they did not return our calls.

Prompt service

The service was very prompt from the day I made the appointment for a survey to the date of installation of the energy consultant's recommendation by the fitters Kelvin and Ryan.
I would recommend this company to others who are wishing to save money on their energy bills.
