The Howard Score made choosing the right digital piano for me, from a long and bewildering list, a much more rewarding and confident experience. I was able to balance my need for an action and sound quality comparable to the best acoustic instruments with a price I could afford. The digital piano guide from UK Pianos is an amazing resource and it is absolutely FREE. It made all the jargon very clear and easy to understand and was essential to help me choose the right digital piano. At UK pianos I found a very personal, professional service a rarity these days. Graham at UK Pianos has a vast and non bias abundance of information and guidance and if you need a question answering he is very quick in emailing back. The piano I chose is exactly what I was looking for thanks to all the useful information and assistance the guide gave me.

Graham's Digital Piano Bible was extremely informative and useful. Though I did not eventually go on to buy a digital piano through him but the six tests for a second hand digital piano was a great guide in helping me find a second hand digital piano, which so far has been beautiful to play, and hopefully shall remain so for years to come. Graham was also very friendly and helpful in answering some questions and thank him sincerely for his candid answers.

I left a bad review because my hire cost me £600 over the total cost of the piano. There was no goodwill involved in managing my mistake of over paying and the company made me pay more money on top of the £600 I paid in order to own it. I would not use this company again.

An update to my earlier review, quick recap, I wanted a digital piano good for a beginner but won't need upgrading for a while. I emailed Graham asking his advice and telling him I was considering the Yamaha CLP625. He kindly responded on the same day. He gave me a couple of recommendations along with the Yamaha and at just below the price point he suggested I look at GEWA and Kurzweil. I decided on the Kurzweil MP120, it arrived the next day well packaged and in pristine condition. Well one year on am I still happy with it? Absolutely, I love it, it has been used every day since its arrival, excluding 5 days holiday and 2 days illness. It is easy to use in terms of functions and the keys feel as good as they did on day one. From advice to delivery to product I am 100% happy. I recommend both UK Pianos and the Kurzweil MP120.

I was looking for a digital piano. I read Graham Horward :"The Digital Piano Bible". This is a very good book and well written. Graham kindly wrote personally to me and recommended Gear4music to me. So I did. I bought a Yamaha CLP625. I am very happy with it. Thank you Graham for your help.

Horrible company !

When I purchased the digital piano was told after 6 mnth payments will end. I emailed to check whats happening now. For the next 2
Months no one responded. COMPLETE LACK OF CARE. At the same time direct debit was still rolling. I emailed again asking whats going on They said I have rental contract and that the balance is STILL UNPAID whoaaaa . I believed all this time money were taken towards the purchase and it was rent itself. They ripped me of £80 for two months . Then threatenned to come and take piano or go into legals. I have never seen more money making disrespectful company who use, abuse and ripp of customers of Their money. YOU SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF YRSELF ! Even your polite staff walked away from working for you , because of the way you treat everyone. If You really were taking care of your customers you would advise quicker and keep communication going on for both parties to be informed well and happy. Thats how SALES WORK. Not other way around. If there is anything wrong then making sure you help out seeking solutions not wiping off your silly dumb contract of people faces ! Beside the piano keys are making squiky noises and speakers rumbles. This isn’t aNew piano. They sell REFURBISHED FROM FACTORY. PEOPLE PLEASE AVOID THIS PLACE . YOU CAN BUY STUFF CHEAPER ELSE WHERE EVEN ONLINE. Safe yourself from dramas and money thiefs. CON ARTISTS !

Graham is a very knowledgeable and enthusiastic piano man. He gives honest, impartial and very useful advice in his ‘Piano Bible’ and the ‘ Howard Score’ grading the important qualities in a digital piano. Great. I found UK PIANOS to be very fast and efficient, I've a fantastic digital piano, that while being on a budget, still feels like a very well made and quality instrument. Highly recommend!
