Before I ordered a Backcountry Bivy 3000 from Ultralight Outdoor Gear I received various very helpful and detailed advise and recommendation.
Finally bought the bivy and let it ship by Royal Mail to Japan. Arrived in a very short time.
In short: Excellent and no-nonsense staff!

I had an issue with a missing parcel recently, and Ultralight Outdoor Gear's customer service team, particularly Rob, handled it brilliantly. The courier left my package unattended, leading to the mishap, but Rob quickly stepped in to manage the situation. He arranged for a prompt refund for the undeliverable items and made sure the rest of my order was on its way without any further issues.

Rob's approach was both professional and genuinely caring, making every effort to resolve the problem quickly. I'm very pleased with how everything was handled and would definitely recommend Ultralight Outdoor Gear for their commitment to customer satisfaction as well as their excellent ranges.

Excellent range of gear for hiking. Good prices. I love the fact they weigh each item as I like to hike with as little weighing me down as possible.

Customer service is first class. I had an issue with payment and they replied in less than an hour and quickly sorted out the issue.

It's the first time I've used Ultralight Outdoor Gear and (entirely thanks to Evri) the experience didn't go as well as it should have done. I'll come to that in a second but firstly I should say that I came to their site based on both prices and the range of gear they have. The walking poles I bought haven't disappointed.

As for Evri... They royally messed up the originally delivery but kudos to the folks at Ultralight - once I let them know of the problem they were prompt, honest and courteous with all their correspondence regarding the issue.

They were upfront that they had no stock to send a replacement package immediately and so offered a refund or replacement poles when they received stock mid-to-late April. True to their word (ahead of schedule even), I received those replacement poles today (not via Evri I should add).

All in all, whilst Ultralight's delivery partners arguably need reviewing, I came away feeling like a genuinely valued customer and will definitely be using them again.

Great company, have bought several things from here. Always competitive pricing and I absolutely love that the website orders products by weight, and the way it displays products makes them easy to compare.

Their own reviews of products are honest and spot on every time.

The website is easy to use. I like its emphasis on weight which is important for me before I make a choice. So far so good. I have raised questions about the contact of a courier which has I believe has nothing to do with this store.

Easy order process, the Rab sleeping bag is great quality and the price was great.
I ordered on the Friday night and it arrived on Monday, which is incredible, as I live in the north east of Scotland and this has come up from England.

Improved returns policy: I encountered an issue with the returns process. Despite paying to return some gloves due to their poor quality and having them rip after just one wear, I was unable to receive a refund because the gloves lacked the required tag.

The £43.00 MSR Universal 2 Footprint from Ultralight Outdoor Gear was shipped and arrived very promptly. The footprint is a replacement for my home made footprint which I have misplaced in the house somewhere! The £43 versus the cost of buying materials (non-rip sheet, glue, eyelet cord, etc.) and the time taken to cut, glue and stitch the footprint together. The £43 cost of the footprint isn't that much more than the cost of making one. Plus it is less bulky than the home made version - it was fun to make one. Very happy with the purchase.

It is great that they offer the customer a variety of shipping methods (Evri! Royal Mail, DPD of DHL). I wish more online retailers would offer this choice. It enabled me to avoid Evri who are unreliable in my area. For this alone I am more likely to return for more purchases.

I have always been happy with the range of products from Ultralight Outdoor Gear (I don’t always go for the lightest), the weights are a handy description feature, and their prices are reasonable as I do shop around. It is a shame they don’t accept the Blue Light Card. The speed of shipping is good.

Very fast delivery, I had to return the item, because i had ordered the wrong thing, but they refunded it immediately, I would highly recommend A⭐️
