My husband and I bought puffajackets from them on same day. He has worn his daily, mine only a handful of times 1-2hrs. The padding has separated into cotton balls making the jacket basically 2 layers... See more

Unbelievably bad customer service
Unbelievably bad customer service! I now know why there is so many Uniqlo items on Vinted! It’s easy than returning items. Stupidly I asked for Uniqlo vouchers for my birthday. I bought items then destroyed the cards. I returned some items due to sizing issues, this took ages. I emailed Uniqlo and explained I no longer have the gift cards and have been told there’s nothing they can do. Surely the original card details can be cancelled and new issued! So my family’s money and my gifts are lost/stolen. What a disgrace Uniqlo.
Order missing 8 items, Uniqlo refused refund after fake investigation – long-term customer dismissed
I placed order #0720009032602011959-5849044 for £93.10. My parcel arrived in a torn/ripped package – inside was 1 item (£24.90), 8 items (£68.20) missing.
I contacted Uniqlo immediately, provided photos of the damaged packaging and the single item. They promised a 7‑day investigation. Silence. When I chased, they replied: “Our investigation confirmed the order was packed and delivered correctly” and “we are unable to assist further.”
A torn package is not “delivered correctly”. They ignored the physical evidence, ignored my loyalty (I order ~10 times per month for years), and ignored the Consumer Rights Act 2015 – the risk of loss in transit stays with the seller until I receive the goods safely.
If you order online from Uniqlo and something goes wrong, you are on your own. Do not expect fairness or accountability. I will never shop with them again.
Uniqlo online shop is a joke
This online shop is a joke, delivery process is very painful, they simply ignore your delivery instructions and force you to go and pick the item in some remote location ... Juste crazy and there is absolutely no customer service
Beside be aware the product sizing from the online site is not the same as in the shops in town
Great Products, Frustrating Courier Code System
I ADORE Uniqlo. I've been shopping with them for over 15 years. The price-quality ratio is one of the best in the world, but most especially in Italy. However, I'm tall, and my size is not readily available in stores. It's also an hour train ride to the nearest location. Shipping to my address makes the most sense, but a code is required to release the package. The system wouldn't be so bad except that the code is sent by email only a few hours before delivery to your home or ferma point. We need more advanced notice because if you don't see the email and you are not home when the package arrives, it gets sent back to the Uniqlo warehouse. What a waste of time and energy! It's also very frustrating for the BRT couriers. Uniqlo must find a better delivery system because I am giving up at this point.
Poor quality and disappointing customer support
Quality issues (pilling + hole) and unacceptable handling by customer service
I purchased the Soufflé Yarn Crew Neck Sweater (item 479157) via the official UNIQLO online store. After normal, careful use, the fabric showed noticeable pilling within a very short time. Shortly afterwards, a hole developed in the middle of the garment – not along a seam or in an area typically exposed to mechanical stress.
I contacted UNIQLO customer support and provided photos. My claim was rejected twice with the generic statement that the issue was “not consistent with a manufacturing fault.” No technical explanation was provided at any point. Even after explicitly asking how such damage could occur under normal use, no evidence or reasoning was given, and communication eventually stopped.
This is particularly concerning as it does not appear to be an isolated case. I found multiple customer reviews describing very similar issues, including heavy pilling after minimal use and even holes forming shortly after purchase. My experience therefore seems to reflect a broader quality concern rather than a one-off incident.
In addition, under EU consumer law (Directive (EU) 2019/771), defects that become apparent within the first year are generally presumed to have existed at the time of delivery unless proven otherwise. In this case, no such proof was provided by UNIQLO.
Overall, this experience reflects poorly on both product quality and customer service. I would have expected either a straightforward replacement or at least a transparent, technically sound explanation.
Based on this experience, I cannot recommend this product or the way UNIQLO handles such complaints.

Charles, Kristina and Hasin - Westfield White City - thank you
I had to share this incredible experience at Uniqlo in Westfield White City.
My 13-year-old son had been looking forward to this all week — he’d saved up his money, worked hard for his school SATs, and had his heart set on a JJK manga T-shirt. When we got to the store, there was only one piece left… in XL. His usual size S was nowhere to be found, and the disappointment in his voice was honestly heartbreaking.
Then along came Charles — a true example of what outstanding customer service looks like. Without hesitation, he offered to check the stockroom. We waited, trying not to get our hopes up, and as the minutes passed, you could feel that hope fading.
But then Charles returned with the news we didn’t dare expect — he had found one, and it was the last size S available.
The look on my son’s face said everything. He was over the moon (and yes, a little teary-eyed too).
To make the experience even better, Kristina and Hasin at the tills were just as kind, helpful, and welcoming.
Uniqlo — you should be incredibly proud of your team. Charles, thank you doesn’t even begin to cover it. You made a young boy’s day unforgettable.
Terrible customer service
Terrible customer service. They don't even cover return costs.
So sad ...used to be great...now terrible.
Used to buy a lot of things here. The product quality had dropped so much I've stopped shopping here. Beautiful natural materials (down, cashmere, linen, merino wool) in simple tailored styles have been replaced by baggy, saggy unisex styles in mostly poor quality synthetic materials. Consistent sizing has been replaced by roulette wheel sizing and their return policy (which also used to be great) is now "we screw up - you still pay". I've basically stopped shopping here, although I've been know to wander the graveyard in hopes of catching a glimpse of the past.
Store on Oxford street is great
Store on Oxford street is great, with good size availability of everything I looked at. They are well endowed with changing rooms. Despite being incredibly busy on a Saturday, I didn't have to wait either of the 2 times I went in.
They have nifty technology for preventing shoplifting by wearing items out. You scan everything on the way into and out of the changing rooms.
Zero stars
Zero stars. Awful.
As the lady below; I returned an order,
using the tracking label they provided via royal mail. The tracking said it was delivered to its destination. Their email said that it had reached the carrier hub (the destination) and would be forwarded it onto their warehouse. As I don't have the physical receipt they are refusing to refund. Which is crazy because they've confirmed receipt of the parcel. Plus the Royal Mail tracking number is available online, I have tracked it and it is clear they've received the parcel. Even Uniqlo themselves have emailed to say they received it at their hub, however they are refusing a refund.
I have escalated to Klarna with my tracking number, I will also do a charge back if need be.
Awful service and surely illegal as once they confirm they've received the return, they can't put the blame on me.
Love the quality
Love the quality. What I don't like when buying online: to return an online purchase you have to go to a Post Office and make a return in person, there's no other way around. (Well, in Spain where I buy.)
What a scam their e-gift cards are
What a scam their e-gift cards are. Valid for one year only apparently, but this is not stated anywhere on the email or the e-voucher itself. Only a link to Ts & Cs on website where then you will find it. No flexibility at all from customer service when I asked for a short extension (it was only out by a couple of months). Good business for them though, all the unclaimed gift card balances . . .
Positive experience returning online orders. UK.
I placed multiple orders and then came on here to check reviews and became increasingly worried about the return experiences people have had and the reviews left! I was dreading returning items... HOWEVER, I had no issues! Online orders (3) returned with no issues. Happy with the purchases I kept. I had a good experience and cant fault it. Will edit review should this change in the future!
Poor quality item
Not online purchase but dealing with compliant via customer services. Response time very good and disjointed response via various channels. Quality you expect I guess from the price you pay. Pay cheap get cheap rubbish in my opinion
Refused refund over delivered tracked return
I returned some items using the tracking label they provided. The tracking said it was delivered to its destination. Their email said that it had reached the carrier hub (the destination) and would be forwarded it onto their warehouse. They appear to have lost it between the hub and the warehouse and are refusing to refund me, as I don't have a physical receipt. Even though I used the tracked return they gave me which said it was delivered to its destination, with their email to confirm. Absolute nonsense. Way to go, Uniqlo, I'll never order from you again, and I'm telling others not to bother either.
Good clothes at good prices
Good clothes at good prices. I bought a few socks. I was extremely impressed with the self checkout technology the stores have. Truly forward looking, just like the clothing they offer, always staying on top of new styles. The variety in the stores is impressive.
Communication!
Asked a question about a jacket i liked online which was in stock as to whether it had an inside pocket. After query was moved to to several different departments, eventually got a reply saying something about winter and stock and nothing about pocket?needless to say did not purchase.
They are outright scammers
They are outright scammers. I bought a coat for €129.90 and returned it because I didn’t like how it fit at all. After waiting more than a month, they refunded me €116.90. In other words, they kept €13.
Their return policy says they charge €3 for returns, which already seems abusive to me, but I accepted it because it was “only” €3. However, when they processed the refund, they took €13 instead.
I have reported them to the Catalan Consumer Protection Agency, since this practice is completely illegal in the European Union. I had already reported Shein in the past for something similar, and they eventually refunded me the full amount.
I’ll post an update on what happens, but honestly, this is a total scam. No explanation whatsoever for the missing money. Thieves and shameless crooks. If you buy in-store, fine — but online, it’s basically a guarantee they’ll steal your money.
DISGUSTING EXPERIENCE. DO NOT SHOP AT UNIQLO
DISGUSTING EXPERIENCE. I BOUGHT A SWEATSHIRT FROM THE OXFORD STREET SHOP AND WHEN I GOT HOME IT JAD A BIG STAIN ON THE FRONT SO I RETURNED IT TO WESTFIELD STRATFORD SHOP AND THE MANAGER WAS RUDE AND CONDESCENDING AND TOLD ME HE WOULDNT REFUND AND I HAD TO GO BACK TO OXFORD STREET FOR THEM TO CHECK THE CAMERAS. WHAT??????? I AM AN HONEST CUSTOMER AND THEY SOLD ME A STAINED (New) SWEATSHIRT AND I AM NOT ENTITLED TO MY MONEY BACK. HOW IS THAT FAIR???? THE WESTFIELD MANAGER (A LARGE BUILT GUY) LEFT ME FEELING UPSET AND AS I LEFT THE STORE HE SARCASTICALLY SAID “I HOPE YOU HAVE A LOVELY DAY”. WOW
I wanted to exchange a pair of trousers…
I wanted to exchange a pair of trousers for the next size up but was told that because a tag had been removed I couldn't !!! This was despite the trousers having never been worn as well as within 5 days of purchase. Terrible customer service- will not purchase from them again.
