Excellent 5 Star from the start to finish. I bought wooden flooring from United Carpets, Boothferry Road, Hull. The floor staff were very helpful, not pushy, gave me lots of time to choose and take samples home to try. I have used United Carpets before and always had an exceptional experience. Lots of flooring to choose from and very good value for money. I wouldn’t hesitate to use again. Nick and Danny who laid the flooring are both very professional, highly skilled and take pride in their work. Arrived on time, got straight on with the job, cleaned up afterwards, and transformed my living room. I would highly recommend United Carpets, Hull 😊

Fitted us in very quickly and carpet laid fast but Done right.

Amazing Customer Service
Right from the start Craig and his staff were friendly and helpful. No pressure to buy anything but lots of useful information. We decided to buy cushioned lino for the kitchen and our hallway, also underlay and carpet for our living room. Craig arranged for a fitter to come round to measure up that week. Two days later, he rang us with a quote, including fitting (also E mail invoice), which we agreed, including dates for fitting. As arranged, Alan and his oppo arrived on time to fit our lino and carpet. Both very friendly and professional. Did an amazing job and we are both over the moon with our new flooring. Thank you Craig and Alan. Merry Christmas to you all and we won't hesitate to recommend you to everyone we know.

Poor service and extortionate prices.
Wrong measurement written AFTER quotation and price agreement so couldn’t fit one of the carpets and I had to then wait for it to be ordered and fitted at a later date. Fitters damaged the wall paint in several rooms, rubbish left all over the house and every door removed and left off, extortionate prices for poor service! Wouldn’t recommend!

Carpet quality 100% but fitting did not work.
Buying the carpet and the quality, surely was good. Afterwards, did not work with the carpet fitters as one came, measured and when the other fitter came, apparently he didn t like some aspects of the job and told us he would not to do. I had to contract a guy to pick up the carpet and another fitter who was ok with the job and did it with his mate, in less than 2 hours. Manager was apologetic and nice and as I said the quality of the carpet is really good and beautiful.

Could not have been an easier…
Could not have been an easier transaction. We needed a carpet quickly. We were shown all that was available to take away immediately, including the roll ends. We decided on a roll end which suited our colour scheme, the guys worked out how much underlay and gripper we would need and was on our way home within 40 minutes with everything needed. The carpet we bought was fantastic quality for the price we paid.
