Excellent service from start to finish
Excellent service from start to finish. Steve was really helpful in helping us choose our kitchen flooring. The fitter went out of his way in the shop to let us see how the cut match would look, taking a piece of vinyl off his van to show us.
The fitters on the day were polite, courteous and hard working.
Would highly recommend.

Great service, beautiful storage bed, lots of under bed space. Wakefield shop very helpful.
Delivery guys did a great job, good communication about delivery times. Ordered 29/5/23, delivered 10/7/23 bit long but was happy to wait.

Impressively responsive
We have used this company for the ground floor rooms and always been happy. We recently decided to replace the flooring on the first floor. Our original choice of laminate proved to be impractical when the fitter came to fit it and we were disappointed when he said he wasn’t going to continue. Now here’s the thing - their fitter wasn’t prepared to take our money knowing the job would let us down within a few months. Then when we returned to the shop, the problem was sorted quickly, without fuss and they couldn’t have been more helpful. Sometimes it’s more important to know how a firm handles this kind of thing rather than when it all goes swimmingly. This company have earned our trust and loyalty. Thank you.
Update - the new flooring is now down and looks great. The fitters fitted us in today. Very happy.

I carn't remember the man name it was the beginning of January he came out to see me as I have a terminal illness and couldn't get to the store he was very helpful and arranged fitting for when I could get somebody to be there as it was for a different flat this is the second time I've used United carpets and would recommend them to any one looking for flooring

Steve at Wakefield branch was fantastic…
Steve at Wakefield branch was fantastic sorted us some lovely carpets for our boys new bedrooms and when we had a last minute crisis with our living room carpet when moving in to our new house squeezed us in last minute for fitting the quality of the carpets and service is first class wouldn’t go anywhere else for carpets highly recommend we are absolutely delighted!!!

A replacement carpet was due to be…
A replacement carpet was due to be fitted today, as they fitted other one incorrectly but didn't have the original carpet in store. The carpet fitter came to the house with a bad attitude to start with even before job was getting started. He moaned that the grippers had come off and needed full replacement underlay. The store said earliest could be 8th November when could come out again. I found the fitter rude and unpleasant. I ensured that I got the carpet before the left so it was in my possession but the just dumped it on the side of stairs. They had not even cut the carpet to size or anything before hand as it was for the stairs and had no where to cut it to size in the house. Rang the store afterwards which was not very helpful and said would speak to fitters in the morning see when can fit me in.
I came up with a few different options to come up with a solution but couldnt give me an answer. Overall I would never use United Carpets again or the fitters. So I am left with no carpet on stairs and no fitting date.
