Honesty and great service
I was in the market for an i10 and having been promised great cars and then subsequently been let down several times, even by Hyundai Mansfield, I went to look at an i10 at Unity Leicester. The car was better than described and Matt Deeley was super helpful and honest and I now own it! Give these guys a chance if you are in the market for an honest car. Great service guys, well done.
A passion for customer service
A big thank you goes out to the Unity Team for looking after me and my car
Unity Jeep Oxford
My review is specifically for Unity Jeep @ Kidlington, Oxford.
Short and sweet... throughout many dealings, some quite complex, Unity Jeep have been exemplary - fighting my corner at every stage, sometimes with the manufacturer.
Even when things went drastically wrong with a brand new car, they always put me first and did what they could. Jeep don't make things easy for dealerships with their hopeless recovery service and Enterprise car hire partner, but Unity make owning a Jeep bearable.
Without Unity I would have left the brand and spent my £50k elsewhere.
Air-Conditioning Fault after MOT....!!!
On May3rd 2017 I Took my car in for an MOT at Unity Automotive (Carstins of Balsall Common).
On collecting my car I was surprised the engine was performing better than usual. despite the on-board computer was flashing up all sorts of false alerts that I didn't have before I took my car in.
I couldn't understand this..!! Because the car was MOT-ed.....!!!
"NOT SERVICED..!!".
It wasn't long before I realized the reason why the engine was performing better..
It was because although it was switched on, the Air-Conditioning was NOT working !!.
I booked my car into Unity Automotive to have a look at my Air-Con and they re-gassed it and charged me £60 for doing so.
I've had my Air-Con re-gassed 3 times since and it is still leaking.
Curious about what happened to my car during the MOT and then ending up with my Air-con not working. I made some investigations and discovered my car was not MOT-ed by "Unity Automotive" anyway....!!!!
But it was MOT-ed by "Lavender Hall Autos" of Berkswell.
Unity Auto never told me they were going to contract my MOT out to another company....!!!!!!!
I expected my car to be MOT-ed by Carstins, as Ive always done for the past 29 years and been very happy with all my Servicing and MOT's there until now.
If I wanted Lavender Hall Autos to do it. I would have taken it there myself...!!!!!!!!!!!
I have spoken to management and asked for my £60 back at least, as its now turned into an expensive repair.
But I was told my £60 would have been refunded if I had raised the matter sooner.
Well I did raise the matter and booked my car back for this problem soon as I could after my MOT on 18th May and Ive returned the car two more times since, so this has been an on going problem from the very beginning. (I haven't just raised the subject now)
I've asked for the name and contact address of the CEO to take the matter further. But the on-line staff, cant, or wont, give it to me..
Unity Automotive....!!!
How about giving me some of the service you claim to provide, and respond to my complaint...????
My On-board Computer was re-set which cleared all the false alarms and is now functioning normally.....!!!
So goodness knows why I had a problem with that..!!! Unless my battery was disconnected at some stage during the MOT.
The bottom line is:- My car finished up with 2 problems after the MOT that I certainly did not have before the MOT and I'm £60 worse of to boot...!!!
