Please avoid this company at all costs!!!!!! My son purchased a PlayStation games console from them on 2/09/2022 and was sent a confirmation of purchase email and when my son became suspicious as we had not received the purchase within the timescale outlined by this company and emailed them we were informed that they had no record of the transaction.We also tried phoning them on numerous occasions but the number provided on the website just rings out.
My credit card company are currently investigating...
Please avoid and go to a reputable company......

This is another name for Quick Mobile Fix who take your money but don't give you the product you ordered and then funny give you your money back either. Avoid at all costs. They are a sham.

Terrible . It wouldn’t power back on then Apple regent street london discovered it was a “Frankenstein phone” it looked like an iPhone 6 but the IMEI number was attached to an iPhone 5 & other users all over the world !! They wouldnt responding to my emails and I was stuck with this .they are now trading as quick mobile fiX in ILFORD . AVOID!!!

My phone didn't charge at all. I returned it for repair and in a short while the replacement went wrong again. Universal Gadgets said it was out of the guarantee period. A lot of correspondence later, with various members of Universal Gadgets ignoring what I was saying, I had to sue them in County Court. The ruling was in my favour as I (and maybe they) expected. Deal with this company at your peril.

I bought a phone from Quick Mobile Fix. Delivery info received but phone didn't arrive. Contacted courier service and they had no parcel for my address. Tried to ring the sellers and you get through to them, select department from the menu and then hold on for 2.5 minutes before getting cut off. Tried 7 times and same response. Luckily I paid through PayPal on a pay after delivery basis so should get my money back. Wish I had read these reviews before ordering.

I bought an iPhone 5S from them and was very pleased with it at first. The problems began when I needed to return it for repair. The company are very, very slow to reply to any enquiries and quite honestly don't seem to give a damn once they've had your payment.
After pestering them, and taking advice from Citizens Advice, I sent a letter by recorded delivery so it couldn't be ignored. This resulted in a phone call from edigital systems, which very coincidentally trades from the same address, telling me that they had repaired the phone but now the LCD screen needed to be replaced and would need to be paid for (!)
I have spoken with Apple and they tell me I am being taken for a ride.
Long story short, I still haven't got my phone and I am over a hundred pounds out of pocket. I have sent one last email asking for my phone to be returned and if they ignore me once again I am going to go through the small claims court to get my money back.
Save yourselves some time and money- DON'T USE THIS COMPANY!

Referring to the report by CosmicAvatar, I had bought three other phones from Universal Gadgets that all worked so they got a good rating on eBay. When I bought the phone for CosmicAvatar it did appear to work OK. Intermittent faults appeared a few weeks later and 6 months later they became intolerable so I tried to contact Universal Gadgets. I sent two emails and got no response. In a third email I threatened a formal complaint to eBay and they did respond and asked for more details of the problem. By this time, having read the experiences of other Trustpilot contributers, we decided NOT to return it for fear of it going into a black hole. I had phoned their listed telephone number after receiving no response to my first email and got a company called "Mobile Fix" who said they were in the same building but not connected. Is this true?

My Dad bought an iPhone 5S from this company as they had good ratings on eBay. Fine so long as you don't have an issue... except that my screen started blacking out. It took them three days to respond to an email reporting the fault, by which time we discovered this site, so decided to go to Apple to repair the screen. Apple advised us that while the IMEI number in the Apple settings was genuine, the IMEI number on the back of the handset most definitely wasn't, meaning the frame was probably not even a genuine Apple part. It's like finding that your phone was assembled in the equivalent of a car chop shop. I ended up buying a genuine iPhone from Apple and am now most relieved, if annoyed at having to spend money on this third-rate dealer in the first place. AVOID.

This was quick mobile fix that have changed their name. Avoid at all costs. They Sell phones they don't have and what a fight to get your money bk. Waiting for £200 bk since beginning April and lie after lie.

Absolutely awful company. Avoid at all costs. Sadly, never checked here before - but like other users here - they never replied to emails after the first 20. They still have my phone. It was broken in the first place. This is the worst company I have ever had to deal with on ebay.

I recently had an issue with a phone I bought from them and this phone had a "12 month guarantee" that if anything went wrong, they would fix it. I thought, great - I will contact them and send it back. They told me to send it back and I sent it via Special tracking, and they confirmed that they had the item.

Fast forward nearly a month later and I have had NO response from them - THEY STILL HAVE MY PHONE. This is the worst experience I have ever had. I know they are active because they have been selling on the account and Lord knows if they've resold my phone without telling me because I would never know and Ebay can't do anything because it's beyond 30 days so I have essentially lost £139.99. They have the worst customer service ever - I even phoned and emailed them but got nowhere because I either can't get through or don't get a reply. I've had more luck with small buyers on Ebay.

AVOID THIS COMPANY. They will accept your money and be nice to you until they can get away with it. I am not the only one with this experience.

If the company replies - you know my order number and details. I have messaged you TOO MANY TIMES with specific details for you to not know.

Awful experience. Do not buy from this company. If anything is wrong with the product or goes wrong later, you will have a dreadful time! Customer service non-existent. You just get a series of standard emails that do not deal with your complaint. They don't answer the phone. AVOID!

update - see their reply below. This is their standard email. I've given them my order ID, PayPal transaction details etc several times. I got nowhere.

Absolutely appalling customer service. I have been trying to get my phone repaired/refunded now for over a month. I tried to contact them originally for an address to get my phone sent to for repairs and was ignored for weeks. Have since tried to get a refund, but cannot speak to anyone.

They do no answer their phones or messages through amazon. When I do actually get an email through they are rude and unapologetic. Does anyone have a direct number so I can speak to them directly?????

Started out ok because when I ordered my Iphone 6 plus it was delivered fine. The problems began when the screen developed a fault bearing in mind the phone was sold with a 12 months warranty. This company has now had my phone for 6 weeks and all I get is automated emails saying they are busy and my phone has not yet been repaired. I have emailed several times and it's always an automated reply. I've tried to call the number and again it is an answerphone with a message which is on a loop, there isn't even an option to leave a message. I'm starting to think now I'm not going to get my phone back and my intention is to contact ebay and paypal.

Stay well clear of this company. Company tried to scam me out of £140. I bought a refurbished iphone from them on ebay but they sent it to the wrong address. The tracking number issued showed that the phone was returned and signed for by the company as undelivered. I requested a refund as I never received the phone. They refused as they said they never received the returned phone even though Royal Mail Tracking showed that they did and not forgetting it was their fault that they sent it to the wrong address in the first place. After a few weeks of appalling customer service I requested Pay Pal step in and investigate. Within 10 minutes of reviewing the case Pay Pal found in my favour and secured my £140 from them, A dishonest company so stay well clear.

Update regarding their reply below: This company is still refusing to say that they got it wrong. They say they are waiting for a reply from their courier. I got a reply from their courier, Royal Mail, because the item had a tracking number. It was returned to and signed for by Universal Gadgets because it was undelivered because they posted it to the wrong address. A receipt showing that they signed for it is available on the Royal Mail website but they still deny receiving it. They say they posted it to the address I gave them and this again is a load of lies. I have emails showing confirmation of my address which I wanted the item posted to and an email from them confirming my address. Paypal's decision to refund my money tells you all you need to know about the true version of this disastrous transaction. Scam company, deal with them at your peril.
