Please, avoid Urbanist!

Please, avoid Urbanist! Save your money!

I wrote a review some time ago, and they did not get in touch with me, even to say sorry, how can we help you? How can we improve your experience with us?

I threw money away and I don't want that more people do de same, our money and time are precious!

Athens earbuds faulty after warranty

Athens earbuds worked nicely for a year(warranty period) but after that the volume between buds isnt balanced. Sometimes left is louder and sometimes right. Resetting doesnt fix this.

Poorest connection ever!

Really disappointed with my Urbanista London! The sound is good and they fit nicely in my ears, easy to train and be outdoors BUT absolutely poor connection with the phone! Music pauses every 10 seconds if I use Spotify in the background regime, Bluetooth connection is blocked by literally everything, even if I turn my head away from the phone, nearly impossible to listen to the music if one is not keeping the phone around the face constantly.

Often one of the ear buds doesn't…

Often one of the ear buds doesn't work/match. You have to disconnect and try again and even then it isn't guaranteed to work. Pretty poor. Don't buy.

I bought the Urbanista London for…

I bought the Urbanista London for myself and my dad, and the Urbanista Stockholm for my boyfriend, and we were all utterly disappointed. Through the customer service, we exchanged one of them but there was no difference. The music starts and stops every 10sec since they fit in the ear so poorly. The sound quality is at most average. It is impossible to make a phone call with them since they will transfer your voice, as well as every other sound around you to the person on the other end. Cannot recommend it.

Feedback for the Miami

I really like the Miami headset sound and the battery is amazing ..! But the best is the noise canceling..
After all the the customers service is great I had a problem with my headset and they assist me so well

disappointing earphones as fail after a year every time

even though i like the Urbanista earphones (i bought the Boston, plus other styles over the years, due to having small ears and the Gofit silicon inserts work for my ears), every pair i have had always failed just after one year when they're out of warranty. The recharge doesn't last the week like they did in the 1st instance and now need charging every other run (only a 40 min run each time) and on a couple of occasions one of the earpieces has failed to give sound completely.
I have wrtten to Urbanista, as even though out of warantee i believe a piece of technology should last longer than a year as this makes our world very unsustainable if everything breaks after 1 year and i was given a discount code but only for a new pair of full-price earphones. However i dont feel a discount code is enough when they've consistantly failed after a year each time. Surely the product is faulty and poorly made.

Poor Product and Poor Service - Avoid Urbanista

Poor product and poor service, definitley avoid Urbanista.

In September 2021 I ordered a pair of Urbanista headphones for my brother’s birthday. I emailed several times to request a new pair that actually worked and had no success. Buying these headphones was a complete waste of money.

Never answered my emails- bad customer service

Worked great to start but when I sent an email about some problems I was having with the earbuds not charging when I put them in to the case- they never replied. So now I'm stuck with earbuds that don't charge.

Good in the beginning…

Sound and noise cancelling is good, however they stopped working slowly. First they started to cut out, then one started losing connection, and know only one connects sometimes.

During my ownership have they automatically connected and started playing in the box

After I published an review, they sent me an mail that I answered However that was it, radio silence

Worst Return Policy

Terrible customer service. Bought a pair of headphones and they were extremely tight for someone who wears glasses (like myself). I asked for a return/refund and they denied it on the basis that returns are only accepted on unopened products (which is ridiculous as it is impossible to know that the product will be uncomfortable unless it is tried on).

Terrible product, terrible customer service

I bought a pair of Urbanista Berlin earbuds in late 2020. They broke within a year and I got a replacement. Said replacement broke within 6 months. Urbanista will not replace these because the original warranty has expired. In other words, I’ve now owned 2 Urbanista products, none of which worked for even one year. I’ll also add that I’ve only used them quite sparesly as they’ve acted as backup headphones for when my regular (actually good) headphones have needed charging.
It seems ridiculous to not provide a new warranty with each pair of headphones, especially if you’re going to produce such a terrible product, that breaks within 6 months of LIGHT use.

I register to the news letter and…

I register to the news letter and receive back a code for a 15% discount for the first order.
I ordered a Los Angeles and it was never possible to use the discount code then I never succeed in using the 15%!discount offer.
The product is good but the company unfortunately does not allow menton obtain the promise discount.

Hi There, I had a problem with the left ear pod, it wouldn't work at all or pair up. my warranty with JB HiFi in Coffs Harbour told me they couldn't help as it was just out of my extended warranty time. I DO NOT recommend buying from Urbanista!

I DO NOT recommend buying from Urbanista!

They have a return policy which states that you cannot return their products once the box is open. This is false and misleading information.

I brought a pair of their headphones which were really badly made. I examined the headphones but did not use them or even turn them on and tried to immediately return them, but Urbanista refused stating that I had opened the box. I was in communication with the customer service manager for London who was extremely unhelpful and completely denied me a refund even though I literally quoted the law, which they just ignored.

I had to go through my credit card company who's legal department checked the legalities and found I was 100% within my rights, and issued me a full refund.

I will never buy from Urbanista again and judging by similar experiences from other reviewers, I would not advise anyone else does either. It is very difficult to buy anything these days when there are so many fake customer reviews online.

Your reply doesn't even make sense. I've sent you many emails already, all were met with a "NO" reply, and I've already had a refund how are you going to help me now?

Do not buy from their website

I would not recommend you to buy directly from their website. Appalling. I ordered the Stockolm ones in pink and one of them Was not working. I claimed warranty and They asked me to destroy them and said they were going to send me a new pair (In a different colour because the pink were sold out) I chose white and weeks have passed and I have received nothing... when I went back to ask about my replacement pair they said they didn't know what happened but said there were no whites anymore so the only option was black... to this day I haves received nothing. Do not buy from them. Buy them at Currys or somewhere else.
