Extremely polite on the phone prior to purchase. Lady going out of her way to check fitting out. Fantastic delivery by Royal Mail the next day. Fitted inlays into fire surround today and all went as described in prior telephone conversations.

UPDATE 24TH - WRONG GRATE ARRIVED 21ST - DUE TO COMPANY HAVING TWO GRATES WITH SAME NUMBER BUT DIFFERENT PRICES - PAID FOR CORRECT ITEM RECEIVED OTHER SMALLER GRATE - EMAILED COMPANY TOLD WOULD SORT OUT ON MONDAY - MONDAY ARRIVED RANG COMPANY WHO KNEW NOTHING ABOUT IT - STILL WAITING A CALL - SILENCE IS DEAFENING.

bought and paid in full for a Victorian fireplace in January 2016, finally the component parts arrived today to complete my fireplace. It looks fab.

Ben took a great deal of trouble to find me a tile to match one which fell from an existing fireplace and broke. If I ever needed to buy another fireplace I would look no further than Victorian Fireplace store. Excellent.

We found Victorian Fireplace Store in Stockport fantastic to deal with. They were very accommodating with a prior arranged visit. We found the exact original cast iron insert that we were looking for to go in our Victorian property. They spent time with us trying different tiles in the insert until we had found the right ones. But where Ben excelled was locating a Kingsbury surround that we were after and also he liaised with 20th Century Fires who were making our hearth, so that it could all be delivered in one shipment. Absolutely chuffed to bits.

I was unable to collect inside usual office hours.. The company opened the warehouse on a Sunday especially to suit my collection needs.. This was fantastic service. And I highly recommend using them!

Having reservations initially in dealing with a company in a completely different area of the country these were soon allayed. Ben at stripadoor/victorian fireplace store was simply great, very informative and accommodating, nothing was a problem and our beatiful victorian combination fireplace and tiles arrived on time, in great condition with a very sharp paint finish we had asked for. We were so impressed with the service we received and the quality of the products that we did not hesitate to contact stripadoor/victorian fireplace store again when we needed a set of tiles for another fire.

Having had a real mixed bag of experiences when renovating a period house, it was refreshing to deal with such a professional and courteous company.
