The experience at shoreham flying a Boeing 737 800 on the 24/01/2022 was very informative and realistic and captain Mac was very friendly and made my time flying very pleasant I enjoyed it all.Thanks Mac. Pauline

Did the vulcan flight experience yesterday and it was brilliant the instructor was very knowledgeable about the vulcan and gave clear and precise information throughout the experience. An absolute must for any vulcan fan!

I had a wonderful 2 hour experience with Richard in Shoreham yesterday. Was guided through the simulator and experiences. Richard was so professional correcting my mistakes and providing advice to improve.

While simulator is fixed (not moving), it is really realistic and you feel like you are moving. You really experience the 737-800 cockpit with all the working buttons and instruments.

I would recommend this for any person interested in planes and flying.

Fantastic, awesome, authentic. simulator together with a real pilot, Richard to guide you through everything. From clearly explaining controls, allowing you take control throughout, take off and landing at several airports, Richard made the perfect experience 👌 very calming but clear in instruction. I felt confident despite the very intense experience of being in control. My next real flight somewhere will be interesting since I will be visualising the cockpit whilst watching the in-flight screen in the seat back.

The most surprising thing for me was to learn how to steer the aircraft after touchdown with my foot pedals! No steering wheel.

Would thoroughly recommend to anyone, one of the best experiences of my 73 years on this planet. Request Richard if going to Shoreham Airport simulator.

I did find it incredibly strange getting into my car directly after landing the aircraft after an intense full on session.

You have to try it.

A superb experience in the 737 simulator. Our instructor, Richard, was very knowledgeable and explained the various systems in a way that was detailed yet fun. He set various challenges from an Innsbruk 'circle to land' approach, to engine failure, all the time providing calm and clear advice.

Purchased as a birthday gift for my partner and very happy with the service. Richard was great and very calming, a nice guy. Very happy and would recommend.

I booked a 90-minute Boeing 737 full motion simulator. It was amazing! :)

I think 90 minutes is a good slot. It allowed me to try multiple airports, different weather conditions, lots of wind and turbulence, hydraulic failure, engine failure, day & night landings, etc. And also to just fly around and see the views. And take some pictures.
With good weather, I could land more or less ok at the 2nd attempt (and it was my first time near a plane). So if you book a 60-min slot should be enough to land ok-ish.

I highly recommend the Funchal (Madeira) airport. It is tricky (and fun!) and made me gain a lot of respect for pilots!

Pro tip: the simulator is mostly used by Jet2/TUI crews, so the most detailed airports/areas are the ones where these airlines fly to. So if you care about the views, you gotta pick the right airports.

The instructor, Mak, was really nice & patient, and did everything to make it a very enjoyable, but also educational experience. He tailored-made the experience to my interests.

Loved it! I think I will try the A320 simulator next and maybe repeat this one again :)

I wasn't quite sure what to expect with my 2hr 737 experience, and I was extremely happy. Mak was my instructor and having a real pilot really adds to the feeling that you are flying. He really knows his stuff and my 2hrs just flew past, excuse the pun! We flew to a couple of airports and I am so pleased he suggested Innsbruck. Thank you Mak, you made this a real 5 star experience.

Excellent 2 hour gate to gate experience with Mak. I particularly enjoyed the flight from Innsbruck to Salzberg in heavy snow including the "Go Around" when we couldn't clearly see the runway on our first approach. Brilliant, informative and entertaining all at the same time.

My gate to gate Boeing experience was a 60th birthday present. I was a bit apprehensive at first not knowing what to expect, but it was great. Mak was my pilot and he was lovely! He’s very patient and takes time to find out a bit about you beforehand. It’s very realistic and we managed not to crash, although we were hit by a Ryanair because I took too long to take off lol. Hats off to all the pilots out there, what an amazing job you do. I would highly recommend this experience all day long.

I went to Shoreham for 75 minute gate-to-gate experience on a fixed base Boeing 737, and how the time flew! Steering out to the runway was quite a giggle, with Richard advising me that the tiller steering was very sensitive, which it certainly was! The take-off and flight to Jersey was a great combination of hands-on flying and also using the Flight Director. I was really surprised to be able to land with only a little help, but I must admit that drinks in the cabin would have been spilt! Overall, a great fun experience, made better by Richard’s instruction and assistance.

Couldn’t recommend this experience highly enough. Richard was a brilliant teacher, 60 mins just wasn’t enough.

We were met by Patrick our pilot for the next 90 minutes. From the start it didn’t disappoint, every step was explained, the simulator was very realistic and atmospheric. I loved every minute! I would highly recommend.

This was a gift, and what a lovely experience. Our pilot was Mak, he was so patient, calming, informative and fun - time just flew (literally 😀). Such good value for money, I would thoroughly recommend, and we'd love to do it again (We'd ask for Mak).

We booked a 60 min fixed based simulator experience, with gate to gate add on for my sons 14th birthday present as he wants to be a pilot. The experience was at Shoreham by Sea and the instructor was Nigel. Nigel was incredibly knowledgeable and informative but also very friendly. While my son took the 'yoke' my husband, daughter and I were able to take turns in the jump seat in the cockpit and the cabin so we felt that we were really part of the experience. Nigel was an excellent teacher who explained everything very clearly and calmly. He talked my son through the many instruments and their uses in the cockpit throughout the entire flight to Amsterdam and was open to questions from the other passengers too. My son had a great time and cant wait to do it all again - thank you Nigel!

Make sure you use your voucher on time because you will be throwing your money away if you don't use it within the time they dictate. They refuse to extend my paid for voucher and I certainly don't recommend this company.

Having previously "flown" an hour a fair few years back at Sywell, I decided to book 2 hours in Shoreham.

Upon arrival, we were greeted by Mak, who enquired about our flying experience and what we wanted to achieve during the session.

Mak was very clear and concise with all of his explanations about what we could do, and where we could fly.

Moving into the sim brought all of the great feelings back again.

The whole experience has been meticulously created to mimic a real-life airport and pilot experience.

Mak was keen to push my skills to the test by throwing in some tough challenges - but fog and a thunderstorm didn't deter me, and we arrived safely at the destination airport.

Whilst I was not flying, Mak and I had a very detailed conversation about my plans to embark upon the Instructors Course. Mak was very keen for me to enroll, providing feedback, and demonstrating his expertise.

Overall, I was extremely pleased with the entire experience. Mak was an outstanding host/instructor, who is not only very experienced and skilled but who is very easy to relate to.

If you're reading this wondering whether to book, I whole-heartedly recommend at least an hour with these guys.

I'm about to kick start my Instructors Course with VA - that's how much I believe the experience is worth it!

My 10 year old had an awesome hour with Rafa today at Sywell.
Rafa listened to everything he wanted to achieve during his session and made it all happen (my son was very specific).
From the moment we entered my son was treated like the professional pilot he dreams of being, he was given complete control with guidance and encouragement where needed.
The hour flew by way too fast yet still managed to include 2 flights, an engine failure, taxi at Amsterdam and a handbrake turn (oops).
We will definitely be back again.

Really amamzing experience at the Sywell Aerodrome facilities. The teacher was very friendly and he tailored the flight to my expectations. The simulator worked 100% fine, for me was a dream become true. I will certainly book again.
