Here we go again with more payment due date errors by Vodafone. I was emailed and messaged by Vodafone on 30/6/26 to advise that my mobile bill is due for payment on 13/7/26. Then on 7/7/26 I received 2 separate text messages (4 hrs apart) stating it was due by 12/7/26, and then lo and behold ANOTHER one came this afternoon (11/7/26) to say my bill was due for payment today!!! Each one referred to a late payment charge of £5 if I didn't pay on the date quoted. On 7/7/26 I started yet ANOTHER formal complaint with my contact being Adam in the Specialist Care Team, as Vodafone just doesn't seem to know what the heck it is doing with regard to billing and payment due date communications to its customers. It is an absolute fiasco. I have already taken legal advice as I fully intend to ignore these erroneous "reminders" as I have already agreed with Adam that I am paying my bill on the due date which is 13/7/26 - and not a minute before. I tried to call Adam this afternoon, and was cut off TWICE by a call handler called MELANIE, eventually getting through at the 3rd attempt to SHREYAS who didn't cut me off, but couldn't help at all only offering to send a message to Adam who apparently isn't available today. Well Vodafone I WILL NOT pay my bill today, despite all Vodafone's bullying messaging tactics. I will pay it on 13/7/26 when it is actually due, and then wait to see if they dare to levy a late payment fee, as if they do I intend to go straight to legal action to recover the fee and then Vodafone will be liable for not only reimbursing the fee, but for all Court costs, and for remedying any besmirchment of my Credit File; I will also go for costs for the upset and stress of what I have been put through as well over this past week. I cannot wait until my contract is up in November to leave Vodafone for good. They are currently flooding the market with cheap deals but please people do yourself a favour and AVOID VODAFONE AT ALL COSTS so that you don't go through the hell I'm being put through. A note to Vodafone here - please do not bother with your AI generated patronising cut and paste reply as it is totally meaningless in terms of its intent. Also people be aware on Trustpilot of the endless fake 5* reviews - the way they are written totally gives them away. These appear to be downloaded in large batches on a daily basis to keep this totally misleading 4.7* rating going. If you really want to know about Vodafone keep scrolling past all these fake reviews and it becomes apparent that the REAL reviews only give Vodafone 1* with many people complaining about the same issues over and over again, and often stating, like me, that they would give zero stars. All in all Vodafone is a truly terrible, terrible company to deal with - cheap deals mean cheap or no Customer Service when problems happen - and believe me they do CONTINUALLY with Vodafone.
UPDATE 12/7/26 - I cannot believe it but this morning Vodafone sent me yet ANOTHER email telling me my bill was due for payment today! This is nothing short of harassment and clearly demonstrates what a mess this company is in regarding its customer communications! The irony of it being in the the Communications sector of business just beggars belief! Vodafone you should be thoroughly ashamed - you truly are the worst mobile company EVER!

I won't use Vodafone again! We sold our house and no longer needed home phone and broadband. I assumed it would be a simple matter to cancel our contract by logging in to my Vodafone account. It appears that you can do everything else on the website but not cancel the contract. I wasted 20 minutes 'talking' to an AI chat box. Because of the delay in cancelling the contract I have paid Vodafone £75 more than I should have done. I have even had a threatening letter from a debt recovery company threatening to sue me for £2.08!

Bought a service that is supposed to be c.900mb and I have 7!!! I have received new boxes, new routers etc but still they cannot solve the issue. Moved from EE (where I got those speeds) because of price, what a mistake. You definitely get what you pay for with Vodafone. I have spent in excess of 7 hours on this and they want to charge me £500 to move to someone else. What a con....THEIR RESPONSE, WASTE MORE TIME TALKING TO THE SAME PEOPLE WHO CANNOT BE BOTHERED TO FIX THE ISSUE IN FIRST PLACE. SEE YOU IN COURT

Terrible systems with lazy incompetent uninterested staff. Sold me a 5g WiFi router and sent me to multiple different shops to collect. Forgot to activate the SIM card.
Been on phone for hours and into store twice. Computer says no incompetence is off the charts.

Cannot wait for contract with Vodaphone to end. Have recently changed my mobile from Vodaphone and cancelled anytime calls with them. I cannot express how much I loathe this company. Only have broadband and I use the term loosely, that’s when you have a connection which is alway buffering. Have security cameras which are offline more than on. Have complained but get nowhere’s and they leave you waiting for a callback that doesn’t happen. So if your thinking of joining Vodaphone rethink would be my advice.

Vodafone what the hell is going on? On the western edge of London I randomly stop having signal out on the street and the last few days from writing this (19.6.2026) my signal just disappears and I can’t use my phone if not on WiFi. Even in my home where I didn’t have issues before. Signal coverage has been an issue for years for me. I would go to Kensington Gardens and would not have signal whatsoever. I know it’s not my phone because I had to get an eSIM that gets me choose a provider and that works as long as I choose something other than this stupid provider. I can’t wait to escape this horrible, horrible service. There is no person I don’t meet that I don’t tell them to never choose Vodafone and after the last few days this has now become my life purpose. Fix your system or please God lose all your customers.

I have taken on three different Sims services with Vodafone and the service is just simply terrible all the time the internet is not working I get like 10 messages per week. Sorry there's a problem in the area. Sorry there's a problem in the area. Sorry there's a problem in the area. I live in central London. How the hell? Is there a problem in the area constantly? All year round the worst service ever

I had a really great experience at the Vodafone store on Oxford Street. Umaima was especially kind, patient, and incredibly helpful throughout my visit, making everything feel easy and stress free. She took the time to explain everything clearly and made sure I was fully supported. That said, the whole team were also friendly and professional, and the overall service in the store was excellent. Really appreciated the smooth and pleasant experience—thank you all!

LITERALLY the most incompetant company on the planet. their shop doesnt take cash! then, they cant even spell the name of their own company correctly, it says "voderfone" on their bills..
SO, im simply trying to pay my monthly bill. I firstly call them, enter all details, but it asks for a pin, which i dont have/remember. so i try using the app. it says itll text me a code to my phone which expires after 20 minutes. 25 minutes later i receive the code!!
THEN when i call and manage to speak to someone, i give all the details but she asks to speak to my mum the account holder. i take the phone to my mum who confirms im allowed to speak. then the vodafone lady is trying so many different ways and none of them are working. Then she keeps constantly interrupting me. im shouting at this point, saying "I JUST WANT TO PAY MY BILL!!! PLEASE, PLEASE TAKE MY MONEY"!, SHE THEN ASKS TO SPEAK TO THE ACCOUNT HOLDER AGAIN, I SAID "YOU JUST SPOKE TO HER A MINUTE AGO" eventually I said "you know what forget it, ill keep my money", and vodafone says at the start of the call about its partnership with "three" and says "2 networks are better than one"!!! not if the other network is as incompetant as you vodafone! they also have2 seperate bills for each of our phones, instead of simply having 1 bill for each phone! and the idiot in their store when i asked about paying my contract off early said to me "we keep the phone after you buy the contract out" to which i replied "ummm, no, no mobile provider does that"
stay away from this company, LITERALLY the most incompetant morons ive EVER come across in all my 48 years on this planet
EDIT:- I just tried to setup an online account on their website. it asked me to enter my number, which I did. it then said that wasnt a vodafone number, which it 100 percent was! so when i tried to use my email to set it up, as the laternate option i was presented with the popup "something went wrong, please contact us", oh my good lord.....
I cant wait for one of their scripted, disingenous responses to this review saying "oh we understand this is upsetting!" or try reaching out to us on social media, as if everyone is sad enough to use social media.....if a customer leaves a bad review, the reason theyre doing it isnt to get one of your dumb responses, its so you can fix your own company... thought that would be obvious
UPDATE: no vodafone, the point is you NEVER meet my expectations (even though my expectations were rock bottom to begin with), and it seems you dont meet most of your customers expectations also! And remember the part where i said not eveeyone is sad enough to use social media? Thanks for the facebook link in your reply! Morons
