Great service by Jack, amazing phones. But be warned they don’t have pink iPhone 16 in stock.

Not great anymore they have gone down hill ever since they turned of 3G now every were I go I’m getting E/satellite or 4g that spins then gives error I have called Vodafone did all the network reset settings on my iPhone next day back to being terrible I have had to now put in a
formal complain but made shore I recorded the call which got the compaint logged they are contacting me in 6 days I was also give a link to do the setting on my phone again but I clicked on the link for iPhone 16 pro max setting and it loads but then you can’t do nothing you click on the other device nothing I have done a video of this too for more evidence and many screen shots of places all round Exeter even Plymouth wile I was on the phone to Vodafone no 4g and bad reception I also got screen shots of this too so so bad. All my family are having the same with there phones also I did give these numbers to Vodafone my father can’t get anything at his address he is constantly getting maintenance text messages about this he had had to ring up for compensation which he has had from Vodafone but even he is fed up now. I found this info on the web about why Vodafone is so bad now
details
This is a question we find more and more customers asking as we move through 2024, and no doubt will continue to be asked in 2025. Let’s start by looking at some of the main reasons your Vodafone signal might be bad;
Vodafone’s 3G network is being switched off
A 5G handset is needed to take advantage of their 5G rollout
Suresignal has been discontinued
Vodafone Switching Off 3G & Merging with Three
One of the main reasons people ask us why their Vodafone signal is so poor lately is because Vodafone are switching off one of their three main channels. So with such a large area of their network being turned off, it’s not surprising Vodafone customers have been complaining about poorer network coverage, this 3G switch off will continue to affect customers until they fully replace it with 5G in all areas.
Traditionally Vodafone uses one channel for voice, one channel for 4G and one channel for 3G. The voice channel will only carry voice and works across the 900MHz frequency, the 4G channel will carry voice and data across the 800MHz frequency, as it is a low frequency it will not carry heavy loads of data, but does have faster upload and download speeds. The main Vodafone channel for the last two decades, for data and voice, has been the 2100MHz, 3G channel.
This Vodafone 3G channel has been switched off in many areas and may be causing the deterioration of Vodafone signal for many customers. The 3G network will be fully switched off by all UK networks by 2033, with Vodafone expected to have fully 3G switched off by the end of 2025. This move to 5G has the effect of reducing coverage across the UK for Vodafone customers in general.
The second reason your Vodafone signal may be poor over the last 3 months is that the merger with Three means that the overall organisation will now share towers and base stations across England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. Where once a Vodafone tower on the south of a village was the closest tower feeding your signal at home, that may be switched off and a Three tower 2 miles away in the north of the base station may now be the preferred location for the Vodafone cell, this increase of distance between the old Vodafone cell and the new one is enough to reduce Vodafone signal and may cause you to experience a weaker Vodafone signal then previous.
Completely fob of by Vodafone they closed my complaint then opened a complaint with there network team as they told me that the complaint was not with them but there network team sim swap and still bad service then they ask me take screen sots of the problems that I getting but with ridiculous terms in which I have to do this is what I’m supposed to do
Can I please request that you provide myself with three screenshots showing what happens when you try to use your data and the postcode of the location that you were in at the time of capturing the example. A screenshot of any error messages is also sufficient along with the time and date of the attempt. These do need to be shared between Thursday – Sunday and no older than 48 hours old for our engineers to trace. Please ensure the time is visible in each screenshot. We kindly request that those examples shared are from differing periods of the day so that we have more opportunity to find the cause of your network issue.
Now! how am I ment to get postcode date and time all at the same time this is ridiculous wile showing that I’m trying to get the error message from my app/internet browser, I’m writing to head office as they say they are closing the complaint once again basically fobbing me of dismissing me like the problem don’t matter well I’m not letting it go I’m going to get my deadlock letter then take it to the Ombudsman
