Vodafone should know better
I’ve enjoyed ten years of seamless uninterrupted service, until now. Having been offered a phone upgrade I have been subjected to a slew of insulting systemic inefficiencies. There has been no direct communication other than sales pitches. Online and in-person hours spent by customers should be billable! Very disappointed and may jump ship. It’s very frustrating sitting and waiting next to an ad banner that declares “ This is London’s Best Network”! The system needs to consider the humans it serves not just the account it skims monthly.

The Vodafone chatbot is an abomination
I genuinely can’t understand how a company as big as Vodafone can offer such a useless, frustrating chatbot. It’s completely incapable of solving even the simplest issue, constantly loops, and refuses to connect you to a human. I don’t want to call because I struggle to understand the foreign accent on the phone – that’s exactly why I chose chat support. But instead of making life easier, Vodafone has created a dead-end loop with this bot. If I wanted to talk to AI, I’d use ChatGPT – at least it’s actually helpful. This thing is just a gatekeeper that wastes your time and leaves you with no answers. Absolutely pathetic experience.

I recently visited the Vodafone UK Kingston Upon Thames branch on Clarence Street and had a generally good experience. Gagan provided exceptional assistance with a friendly and professional attitude, which was much appreciated. However, I have experienced some frustrations with customer service in the past, such as issues with account management and delayed resolutions. While the in-store service is great, improvements in customer service responsiveness would make a big difference. Overall, they offer a good range of plans and straightforward options. Four stars from me!
