VWFS Rent-a-Car - Slough Reviews 

We did the booking for Kodiaq for 5 days this Easter holidays. It was a really great experience with VWFS Rent a Car. The condition of the car was exceptional, would love to book again for the next holidays! :)

Straight forward reservation process, best price I found in the market for a 7 seater, car in very good condition, just as advertised. Only downside is that they need to update the website as accounts and online payment systems are not working properly, and that’s why I needed to pay the remaining payment on the day my rent started. Definitely recommend, and will be renting from here again.

Very pleasant chap behind the desk working in the office. Unfortunately he was working alone and on a very lengthy phone call with the police when I arrived regarding a missing rental car and customer. This ich meant I was waiting much longer than I would have expected to be seen if he was supported by a second colleague.

Contary to the Volkswagen Financial Services marketing claims, the car model I booked was not available so was offered an alternative. Apparently 99.9% of customers get the choice of car they booked. Incredible odds the first time I use this company I'm in the unlucky .1%, I should remember to buy an Omaze lottery ticket.

The accepted alternative car smelled badly of smoke from a previous customer, I was assured the car had been cleaned but still traces of ash on the dashboard remained..

I rate this car rental company no better than a typical car rental experience.

The chap I saw behind the desk I rate highly for his courtesy and plesant manners to customers.

Have always used EuropCar UK, but in an online comparison this came up as not only the cheaper option but the better car. I did have some trouble as they had my email wrong and I called from overseas to correct it but somehow I still didn't receive a confirmation. I made a point of noting the booking reference though so it was super quick and easy once I arrived to check in. The car was new and in great condition. The process was simple and hassle free. I will definitely book with them again (Slough).

I found these guys online by chance and the Service was second to none. Car was as booked and timing was prompt. I will definitely be using them more often

Exceptional service! I love this car rental company! I use it for business and private hire for 2 years now. Best prices and service in the area. But the best part of experience is Waseem who runs the Slough Branch! He always goes above and beyond and provides excellent customer service. I have now been renting form slough on numerous occasions for the last 5 months, every time there has been no hassles. The cars are new and well turned out.
I do prefer a full to full fuel policy but that is a real first world problem.
Overall thoroughly recommended great value and service.

Very pleased with the rental service, excellent value for money.

Needed 7 seater for weekend, for larger family trip. Easy to book online. Much better value for money than the normal hire companies I've used. Pick up and drop off process were really easy and smooth.

It stank of smoke and when i raised this at the time of pick up, the response was ' that happens sometimes and we cant stop people smoking in the car. It's in the fabric. Hard to get it out.". Unfortunately i was on a schedule so had no time to discuss. They could not offer me anything else. I cut down my rental from 2 weeks to 6 days. They only charged me 50% of the days i used. However this SHOULD NOT HAVE HAPPENED. This car should not have gone out to rental unless it states 'smokers car'. They resolved it (barely) but only because i called twice and complained and said I wanted to escalate. If there are no issuse, its fine as this is my second rental from them. I will also look into other companies to rent from.

You wont confuse the experience with the excellent, new cars you can expect for rental from the car salesroom attached.

First time you pick up bring loads of proof of address. Your confirmation email tell you what to bring with you. It wont mention more documents for proof of address you will need if this is your first time at this outlet.

The check in guy was unhelpful to the point of rudeneess about what is acceptable as proof of address. A discussion will ensue about what is proof of address and a valid driver's licence is NOT enough.

Express an alternative point of view and get a surly contradiction (in my case unfactual).

Make a trust pilot comment tand get an irrelevant and illogical reply (I left my licence at home).

I love the cars they offer. They only offer new cars.
But the main reason I go there is because of the level of customer services. It is out of this world. Waseem and Gary, love you both. Without you guys I can't think of Slough VWFS. Many thanks for your service.
